Yeah, and I dont really mind it. But some people get upset because maybe they REALLY want it to be a boy/girl... or they went through a WHOLE long process to change it'sgender, then it changes back XD

Many people have worked hard to get a certain gendered creature and unstarred creatures just so it's unique. By the advent tree changing this, their hard work goes to waste.

@rainbowkitty but the eggcave staff wanted to give back to us for joining and now people are out there complaining about something that was supposed to be a gift that was given with kindness and love! It drives me crazy! Cus' Thats what Christmas is all about! Giving and being thankful!

@izzfred Well... I understand your feelings about the star thing, but I worked really, really, hard to freeze my male Alkub, give it a travel, immortalize it, and get it a good name. Then it changed it into a girl, which I REALLY didn't want, since now I have to pay 100 CC to get it turned back ☹️

i have a mo that has a name that i chose for it because it was male. so far i have greatly appreciated what i got from the tree, but you must understand that stars and gender changes cost real world money.

so in some cases, i would love the cc, but in other cases like this one, if it is something i do not like, people cant change it back without spendin real world money.

@cat I know. I don't want to make people feel bad but at least they should keep their feeling to them selves, send in a ticket and fix it instead of going out there and making a whole topic!

Okay, so imagine that you're painting and have mixed tons of color to get that one color you wanted. You paint a nice one colored picture out of it and walk away fro a while. When you come back, you see that your color has been changed to a color you hate, and your picture has been painted over.

I know, horrible comparison but hey. I'm doing my not-so-best here out of laziness. .u.

While I understand that people are upset, I will admit it bothers me when people are rude about it.

Not saying anyone here is. I just saw a few people being really rude about it, which bothers me because this is meant to be a nice thing.

I think people should realize there's 'risk' now and move creatures they don't want changed or don't visit the tree.

I just go to a forum in General Discussion, 'Advent Tree'. I then check what the others have posted. And if I'm ready for one of those, I'll approach the tree. I didnt approach the tree since 2 days, as I dont want any unexpected gender-changing or starring of a creature. I lurk in the shadows and get to know the result before trying it. XD

I actually found the advent tree quite funny today 😊 I gender changed my Kringus a while back and the tree decided it was gonna change it back to a female 😊 Didn't get upset. Since its a nice gift 😊 that generous @ian made for everyone 😊

I think people just need to remember that some of the things the eggcave staff is giving (like the star or gender change) autually costs CC so they are losing money each time someone clicks the advent tree those days.

People just need to get over it, Im sorry but Thanks you EggCave Staff for creating an awesome event!

If you don't like a star or gender change on your creature, you can just send in a ticket! They can switch it back.

Ah, quit hating on @Cat! She's just voicing her opinion, and I agree. I was lucky enough to get a change that I wanted, but if I didn't, I WOULD be very annoyed. And it IS a good gift, but it's very annoying to work hard for something just to have it changed back. :/

I understand the point where you're coming from. Although on the creature I got the gender change on wasn't one I wanted it on, I didn't go about complaining. I just simply asked for a reverse of the affect.

It's just that people go out, in all caps, and yell about their "hate" for that certain gift. But they don't get that it must hurt Ian's feelings because he's giving us gifts, but people are just snapping back at him for doing so.
