Let's try to narrow this down or just give information about this asteroid. đReason/Time/Slot (Not all of them have it yet.)- Oh no! The egg melted as you approached it! 6:01 | Slot 1- Oh no! The egg instantly turned to dust as you approached it! 6:01 | Slot 1 - 11:53 am | Slot 3 - Oh no! The egg mysterious vanished right before your eyes... 5:59 | Slot 1- Oh no! The egg started to crack... it worried you, so you fled. 10:27 am | Slot 3 - 2:40 PM | Slot 2- Oh no! It suddenly got really dark... you had to find your way back to Ark City before you took the egg. 1:45 AM | Slot 3- Oh no! A Yeep randomly attacked you before you could take the egg! 12:02:04 | Slot 3- Oh no! The egg exploded as you approached it! 2:58 | Slot 2- Oh no! Just before you took the egg... you heard something from the bushes. You fled!(I will update THIS post if anyone supplies me with new responses they have come upon.)ASSUMPTIONS:* Each egg slot is random. Just like the cave.* The times you decide to try to take an egg does/doesn't matter. It's for you to decide whether it does or not because no one officially knows.* This is NOT a plot. It's just an addition to Egg Cave. Confirmed by @Ian, and suggested and/or made by @meteoroid. < If that's wrong, I'll remove it. đ

When I tried to get one it turned to dust. I can't remember the exact wording, but I'll write down what happens to me next time so it can get added. đ
pendulum • 7 January 2011 at 3:31 PM
@orderedchaos Thanks! đ
klemicat • 7 January 2011 at 7:56 PM
Does anybody think it matters which egg you take? As in, left, middle, right? I took middle and it exploded.
Zac • 7 January 2011 at 8:12 PM
@klemicat it seems to be random, the egg doesn't matter, much like in the cave.
nvr4evr1 • 7 January 2011 at 8:12 PM
@klemicat I don't think it matters which egg, I took the left one and it turned to dust. đ
pendulum • 7 January 2011 at 10:45 PM
I never thought of that, but I do believe it's random. đ
Orderedchaos • 8 January 2011 at 12:18 AM
Got the one with the egg starting to crack this time. *headdesk* Dang it.
deu • 8 January 2011 at 4:12 AM
Oh no! The egg exploded as you approached it!âšī¸
redfire77 • 8 January 2011 at 11:32 AM
@nvr4evr1 I took the left one and it also turned to dust
thepells4 • 8 January 2011 at 11:44 AM
Has anyone thought that maybe you can only get these eggs at a certain time of day, like how you can only find terrons at 3:00 a.m. ECT?
icymuffin • 8 January 2011 at 12:44 PM
@thepells4~ Multiple users suggested that but everyone just seems to be stealing at random without looking at the exact time...Anyways, we're almost to a full 24 hours anyways.
nvr4evr1 • 8 January 2011 at 4:05 PM
We need hints @Ian!
Orderedchaos • 8 January 2011 at 5:03 PM
Well I tried again shortly after midnight (12:02 I believe) and my egg cracked. :-/ I think when I try again I'll try an hour later and so on each day after. If its time based that will at least hit and possibly eliminate the top of every hour as possible times that they could drop.
icymuffin • 8 January 2011 at 6:13 PM
Just wondering, but what makes a thread "official"?Anyways, here are some I have found(that is if you need them, going by reason/time/slot) :Oh no! The egg melted as you approached it! 6:01 /1Oh no! The egg instantly turned to dust as you approached it! 6:01 /1Oh no! The egg mysterious vanished right before your eyes... 5:59 /1I'll post more as time passes...(Notice that mysterious is missing its "-ly" in one of them đ)
klemicat • 8 January 2011 at 8:02 PM
At 8:01 pm 8th of Jan.Oh no! The egg melted as you approached it!Took the middle đ¸
pendulum • 8 January 2011 at 11:17 PM
@icymuffin Haha. I just like the "official" part. And it directs conversations about the asteroid here. That way, this the main informational thread instead of another user making one just like it, whereas someone can just refer to this compilation instead of creating a new one thus saving them from doing more work. đI'll add the new ones, but I am not sure if the time has anything to do with it. But, I'll add them after, just in case...
pendulum • 8 January 2011 at 11:27 PM
@Ian, yes. Some clarification is needed sometime. I mean, we can wait, I just don't want it to be too long before some users get too impatient that they enslave the Yeeps to attack everything. đ
klemicat • 9 January 2011 at 12:31 AM
Unfortunately, I think Ian has already enslaved the Yeeps to "randomly" attack us!If anyone sees someone else with an Alien egg, please tell us here! We will interrogate them until they spill the beans. đ
mellyottl • 9 January 2011 at 12:58 AM
[12:58 middle egg 'Oh no! The egg exploded as you approached it!']
redfire77 • 9 January 2011 at 1:47 AM
1:45 AM right egg Oh no! It suddenly got really dark... you had to find your way back to Ark City before you took the egg.
nvr4evr1 • 9 January 2011 at 10:28 AM
The egg started to crack... it worried you, so you fled. 10:27 am Slot 3
pendulum • 9 January 2011 at 12:44 PM
Someone got a Storticai egg. Her user name is @illusion0880.It's quite pretty. đ
icymuffin • 9 January 2011 at 12:50 PM
I suppose it's just all chance, like the Mo.I'm thinking that this Asteriod is staying in Ark for a while, so I don't think anyone will need to panic about not getting one right away...Just a guess though :]
pendulum • 9 January 2011 at 12:51 PM
@icymuffin Yes, I suppose it's all chance too. I agree with you. đ
Ian • 10 January 2011 at 1:55 PM
My advice: keep trying đą
cubexline • 10 January 2011 at 3:48 PM
@ian: will these eggs be harder to get then a mo? seems like it :[
Deleted • 10 January 2011 at 3:48 PM
Well, I assume it is all luck. Thats what I assumed all along, because illusion####(can't remember xD) got one, and I believe it was chance.
redfire77 • 11 January 2011 at 12:03 AM
a yeep randomly attacked me before I could reach the egg at 12:02:04Slot 3âšī¸ I lost my chance
icymuffin • 11 January 2011 at 7:25 PM
I just noticed, but both Storticai were discovered on the same day, Jan. 9, 2011...@Ian~ Are you trying to hint that finding the creatures is more than just having luck on your side?
