I was in the Cash Shop Park looking to see how much the Creature Release Week creatures were (Ian said they were to be available for a while after it concluded) when I saw a Laniwon. My Secret Santa partner wanted one. It was at the top of his wishlist. Now, I already have one of his wishlist creatures, but it would've been nice if I could have gotten him what was at the top. However, I only have 105 CC, 100 of which is at my side account. I have a pretty good idea that this is going to be shot down ("Oh no! This idea sucks! It would ruin rarities and make CC trading suffer!" ), but here goes: I think it would be nice if we could be in debt at the CSP. Yes, I realize that it could backfire and have people owing some crazy number like 100,000 CC and still be able to purchase things, but I have a solution for that. If you were to, say, buy a Laniwon when you had 100 CC, you would (duh) owe 400 CC. You would not be able to purchase anything until the debt was paid back. It would be paid back immediately every time you get more CC, like if someone gifted you 50 it would go immediately to paying back what you owe.I think this idea would lead to a lot less begging, because people could still purchase for themselves.Opinions?@Essieh@Chapus2009@IceyFira@Lotta@Jennifer

@whitefireI think its awesome.
chapus • 24 December 2012 at 10:05 AM
@whitefire Hmmm... Maybe... 😋 I don't know... Because maybe a person would just buy one CC creature once, even if they have zero CC, and never give back the CC. And CC is money, so it is necessary for the site and stuff like that. I was thinking about this too, but it can be... dangerous. :I

@whitefire No. Just no. Even if there was only a certain amount you could go in debt. I just feel the consequences and cons outweigh the pros of this.
whitefire • 24 December 2012 at 10:43 AM
@Chapus2009@April__You wouldn't be able to purchase anything else once your in debt, even if it was only 1 CC that you were in debt by. Perhaps there could be a deadline that you'd have to repay it by?
april__ • 24 December 2012 at 10:47 AM
@whitefire And what would Ian do if they weren't paid by that deadline?Hunt them down? Shut down their account? What about people making multiple accounts just to make purchases of CC to go into debt to? I just feel there's no way to prevent hte problems.:/
whitefire • 24 December 2012 at 10:54 AM
@April__1. Ian would most likely PM them and they could try to figure something out. That's what I'd do, anyways, 'cause I'm a softie.2. If it really didn't work out he could probably either shut down their account or find a way to regain what he lost during the purchase.3. We aren't allowed to purchase from our side accounts, are we? In any case, they would have to wait 48 hours before they could trade out what they bought and by then Ian would've tracked them down.
april__ • 24 December 2012 at 10:59 AM
@whitefire 1. Does Ian really have time to PM everyone? He obviously has a lot more to do in life than work on EggCave, and even then, he's alwayws busy with new things and such.2. He could shut down their account, and guess what? They'd likely make a new one. IP banning isn't fair due to siblings sharing computers.3. People aren't allowed to steal from the cave and such and they still do it. The mods and Ian can't possibly track down every single person all the time. And as I said, this banks a lot on Ian having nothing better to do than monitor everything. I still don't see any real solution. I think it's a bad idea.But that's my opinion. Maybe someone else will have a different one.

@whitefire As nice as that would be, people will find a way to cheat. They always do. This could cost Eggcave lots of money, and could eventually lead to the site being shut down if they aren't making any money. CC would become virtually worthless, and that could also potentially lead to the downfall of this site.
alphapercival • 24 December 2012 at 11:33 AM
@whitefire No. I don't think thats ok. It's real money and I see it as cheating the site. 😋
musicgurl333 • 24 December 2012 at 11:42 AM
@whitefire I agree with all of the points that @april__ made. I think it would lead to cheating, people abusing the system, more work for Ian, etc. I just don't think that this is a good idea at all.
3_love_for_death_3 • 24 December 2012 at 11:45 AM
@whitefireAs Much as i would love this idea It would completely ruin eggcaves 'economy rarity of critters.' People could just go into debt and never donate to eggcave thus never pay it off therefore also CC creatures would become common and not as rare as they are now and they would completely loose there value. Personally I dont think this is a good idea at all.
whitefire • 24 December 2012 at 12:44 PM
Mmm, too many people to ping, but thanks for your opinions! Like I said, I knew this would be shot down.
whitefall • 25 December 2012 at 3:51 PM
But what if they never pay the debt?Like they never buy something from the CSP ever again?Then people could have 1Cc and buy CC eggs.They could do that on their side accounts also.Or people would transfer the eggs they got from this, delete their accounts and start the process all over again.I don't think this would be a good idea.There is no guarantee that it will be paid back.And if you look in the real world - debt causes trouble.
whitefire • 25 December 2012 at 3:53 PM
@Whitefall*Is done here*Lol XD
whitefall • 25 December 2012 at 3:53 PM
@whitefire Lol, I'm sorry TT^TTBut it's true! xD
whitefire • 25 December 2012 at 3:55 PM
@WhitefallXDWell, I suppose I should've thought of that before I posted.
rileytibbles_side • 25 December 2012 at 3:59 PM
@whitefireWhen I bought a Clocat, I accidentally double-clicked the ''Buy my creature now!" button and I had twin Clocats with the same name. I only had 500CC, so it said I was -500
whitefall • 25 December 2012 at 4:00 PM
@whitefire Haha, sometimes you don't even think about these things~And other people think about them & tells you= purpose of suggestions
whitefire • 25 December 2012 at 4:00 PM
@RileyTibbles_SideOkay? Mm... Are you saying we're allowed to be in debt?
rhythm • 25 December 2012 at 4:00 PM
Ooo!I thought of something that could make this workYou have to pay the debt within two weeks or the creature/item will be revoked.(Also you cannot trade the item/creature until the debt is paid)
whitefall • 25 December 2012 at 4:02 PM
@rhythm That would make it work,But this could teach children that debt is okay. o.o
whitefire • 25 December 2012 at 4:03 PM
Hmm... I suppose that would work. And if you needed more time and knew in advance, you could send in a ticket to ask for extra time! But it could only be before you go in debt that you tell him, and the maximum amount of extra time could be five months! Does that seem fair?@Rhythm
rileytibbles_side • 25 December 2012 at 4:03 PM
@whitefireNo, I think it was just a fluke... Like, if you had no CC you can't just buy a creature and be in the negatives
whitefire • 25 December 2012 at 4:04 PM
@RileyTibbles_SideAh. Mm... Wasn't that kinda irrelephant then?
Deleted • 25 December 2012 at 4:10 PM
Hmmm....No, I would have to say that this is a bad idea......
rileytibbles_side • 25 December 2012 at 4:12 PM
@whitefireNo, I was just saying that I've been in debt before
whitefire • 25 December 2012 at 4:15 PM
@RileyTibbles_SideLol, okay.
eclipse • 25 December 2012 at 5:10 PM
@whitefire Oh my god.You typed "irrelephant"😈😈😈/i'm sorry i justhad to point that out
whitefire • 25 December 2012 at 5:17 PM
@EclipseI know. >w< I was waiting to see who'd notice.
