EC monthly creatures.

Note: This is NOT my idea. I did not come up with this. I got it from the topic "Is CC over rated?" And the users that suggested it on the topic were @twilight_raptor @sanibel_18 and others i may have missed.

Anyways i think it would be a good idea to raise this suggestion by others! I think that there should be 1-2 creatures a month that can be bought with EC. I would say maybe 1 so that the creature count isnt so high. Maybe you could buy them for about 500k EC. It would be good because it gives people the motivation to work for EC and plus, all of the people who can't get CC won't feel as left out since they can get a valuable, one time only creature once a month. Now if you think this is a bad idea please dont shoot me down or get nasty with me. If you feel this isn't a good idea, or a good idea at all, be polite and considerate. thank you 😊

EDIT; also having EC monthlies can make EC more valuable and wanted 😃

This is a good idea to help us CC-less people out with critters. 😸 I think the price should be somewhat lower because not everyone has that much time to get that amount every month. 😋

I actually heard this suggested a while ago on another board. But yeah, I like the idea. I think 1 Creature a month for like 1 million EC would be good. I feel like anybody can accumulate 500k-1mil in 30days or less, even just by feeding( let's not forget Double/Triple Feed day). It's do-able and will have people spend more time on here than 250k would and it'll be good for EggCave revenues.

I'm not a fan of new monthly creatures for EC every month.

But I do like the idea of maybe some new EC creatures in the SAR that can be limited time or whatever?

I just think so many new creatures all the time would be overwhelming.

Or maybe two CC creatures a month and one EC would be better.

Good idea. I finally got tired of not being able to get really good critters for EC so I broke in and bought CC x(

And o.o I haven't been here long and I have over 1 mil EC and before I started stalking the Travel agency I had over 3 mil. And that was just from feeding and selling some travels o.o

I think it's just my OCD but so many new creatures all the time kind of -stresses- me in a way.

I start panicking about how the archives might get so big, and eventually it'll be impossible to have all the names memorized, and what about new users being overwhelmed by how many creatures they were and trying to decide on dream pets?

And yeah. My OCD is annoying. XP

I do support EC creatures though. Just maybe one less CC creature a month if it happened or something. ^^

But of course, me and my OCD are weird and no one probably understands that. XD

Unless they disappear foer a few months and come back and look at all the new creatures they have to try and get now.

@alphapercival You have my support 😉 I hope Ian considers it, and if creating too many creatures is a problem then introducing some costly EC items would help too (The items should be beautiful and attractive to create the demand)

@twilight_raptor yes exactly!! They should start making EC items too. And i really really REALLY hope he considers it too!! It would be soo amazing if this was created hahah.

I made 750k on Double/Triple Feed day in like 1.5 hours...
And if you made 30k a day, you can make it..
That's like feeding for 15 mins..

We do have plans for more things to spend EC on. Can't say what they are yet, but I will say that we are looking to expand the EC economy this year. 😊

To be honest, I don't see how having some CS eggs to be bought using EC is going to help, because we know some people will still grumble that the CS egg (which can't be bought with EC) is so pretty and they want that too.

And technically, we *can* buy CS eggs with EC, provided that there are people who will sell them. But I can only see this occurring more often if EC has more use on the website in general. Then selling CS eggs/CC for EC will be a more attractive route for some people.

I personally don't mind seeing less monthlies released if this means a general increase in the variation and quality of pets. I know I'd welcome something other than wolves, foxes, cats, unicorns, dragons, or raccoon/squirrel-like creatures, which tend to be most of the creatures suggested by users. A little less cute and a bit more different/weird will be nice now and then.
