Cassandra nodded, and smirked. "Nice idea." She commented, glancing at Lake. She grabbed a few crates, and thought for a minute. A hot tub, out of crates? Was that even possible? She put on her thinking face, and thought for a moment. Perhaps they could cut the crates so it was only wood, and build something out of that. Cassandra was never good at thinking of ideas, but now was the time to do so. There was nothing to cut the wood with, though.

Camilla got to the top after Merek. She was just about to call out to him when he jumped. "I really hate this..." Camilla muttered to herself before walking over to the edge and bending down. She winked at where she hoped a camera was, before holding her breath and jumping. The cold shock of the water hit her full force as she went in. Camilla swam to the shore, not wasting any time. When she climbed onto land, she stared at the stack of crates that Lake had made, before looking at their's. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously into cat-like slits, before returning back to normal as she waved for Merek to hurry up. She really didn't want to be the one to carry the crates.
-
Lake shook his head, water droplets flying everywhere. His wet bangs stuck to his face. He really wanted to get his hair out of his eyes, but didn't want anyone to see his terrible scar. "If I had known of this task, I would have brought my knife..." he muttered to himself.

The jog uphill wasn't tiring, not for Aizel, neither for Vick, though the boy did have to stop for a minute to catch his breath after the first sprint. It was relatively easy from now on - they only had the jump. First up was the raven headed girl.
Stepping onto the edge of her nightmare, she looked down into the deep black waves below and frowned slightly. Water...yeah, not the best place to be, but she did have to make the jump.
Taking a head start, she braced herself for the impact and plunged downwards.
The feeling was petrifying - ice cold water came in contact with her feverish skin, warmed from the sun, and Aizel felt her flesh almost sizzle with dying heat. In a moment, she realized her lungs lacked proper intake of breath and swam up, surfacing with a gasp.
The trip to land wasn't so hard but she came out a little bit worn from the flailing she'd done. "I hate you." she commented, looking back at the water.
Wringing the liqiud from her hair and clothes, Aizel hurried up over to the crates, bothering only to give two of her teammates a nod and set to work.
Hauling two crates onto her back, she carried them over to the future bath tub's location and dumped them on the sand.
"How many do we need?" her question was directed more to the boy than to Camilla (he seemed more experienced).
-
"YEEEEAAAH!" Victor hauled heaven, taking a wide jump and toppling down into the water head first. He surfaced with a broad smile and was at shore in a minute, taking to work at carrying some crates.

"Try starting out with a little bit. We should make it relatively small and then make it bigger if we have enough time or wood." Camilla said as she wringed water from her hair. Her blonde hair(once curly) now was straight, being held down by the water. The girl put a hand over her eyes to shield the sun to see who was heading down or in the ocean. She smiled at Victor when he showed. Her hand reached down to her leg as she picked off a starfish that had somehow managed to find it's way there. Camilla held one of the starfish's arms with her thumb and forefinger before wrinkling her nose in disgust and shivering at the thought of it's body clinging to her skin. She glared at it before flinging it backwards.
-
Lake pushed a crate over and seemed about to try tearing it apart with his barehands before he felt something hit his neck. He stood and reached to feel whatever it was thay landed on his there. As he did so, his hand felt something disgusting and slimy. Pulling back in disgust at the slimyness of the object, before reaching up again. Lake ripped the thing of his body and tightened his grip on it, trying to squeeze it to death. Lake turned to glower at the people that had arrived, sure that one of them threw it. His gaze fell on Victor.

Uh-oh Spaghetti-Os! Poor starfish ☚ī¸

"Hm." Aizel only bothered replying to the blonde, in a form of agreement, then continued dragging the crates around. Nine were already stacked in one place, the raven headed blonde hauling another two on top of them. She wiped the sweat off her brow, slightly tired and very much sweating.
"Kid, get to work." she regarded Victor as he came into view, after raising an eyebrow at the boy's thin and weak form. He was literally useless - she could bet on that.
"O-okay..." the brunette replied with a nod, handling a crate and quickly carrying it over to the pile. On his way back, he spotted Camilla and gave out a flustered smile, turning away as quickly as possible.
Amber eyes left light blue ones, only to come upon a pair of navy orbs, glaring back with hatred. Lake stood nearby, clutching a starfish furiously, eyes narrowed towards Victor. The light-haired boy slightly cowered down under his gaze, but remained calm, although with a struggle.
He wondered if his loud reaction back at the cabins had been the reason for this glare-off.
Looking at the boy apologetically, Vick raised a hand to kindly wave at Lake, completely clueless of what had occured.

If looks could kill, Victor would be long gone. Lake threw the starfish at the wimp when he raised a hand to wave. He aimed for the boy's upper body, thinking he had a better shot at hitting that. Once the starfish left his hands he returned his gaze back to the box, before picking up the crate and dropping it back on the ground with a crack. A few of the pieces of wood were now looking like they were about to break. Lake bent down before using a hand to try to tear the box apart into strips.

Scout nearly fell off the edge as he leaned over
"farther than far as I thought" he muttered under his breath, backing up some "ah, who else wants to go? I mean before me..." he asked, taking a few short breaths as he backed up some more.
Of course his sister wasn't having any of it. Stepping up behind him, she delivered a swift kick to his back, the nboy letting out a girlish yelp as he plumited down to the water, flailing like a small child. Knowing her brother couldn't swim too well, Bandit dove in shortly after him, much more graceful as she sliced through the air with an arching backflip, her small form rushing past the bulky athlete that was her rather wuss of a brother.
He hit the water, hard, face first and with a loud smack as she dove neatly into the ring, dipping under the surface as she swam to the shore, Scout following haphazardly along.
Rolling her eyes, Bandit re-tied her head cover as she ran over to the crates, her brother passing her up and tripping her in her tracks as payback for shoving him off the cliff.

Maxwell had been daydreaming for a while since the task had been announced, probably about what he was supposed to be doing. "Oh, right right right right!" he said to himself, snapping out of it and beginning to climb to the top of the mountain, "this is gonna be so epic!" he said excitedly, trying to catch up to the others at the same time.

It took him forever, and it was hard to do, but he managed to reach the area where he had to jump, which to his surprise, was completely empty at the time. He hoped his team had already gotten to the bottom. Looking down, his eyes grew wide. "Oh man..." he whimpered, before a wide smile grew. Jumping off, the wind blew hard in his face as he plunged toward the bottom. "FOR THE PHOENIXEEEEEEES!!!" Maxwell screamed at the top of his lungs, hoping to attract attention to the fact that he was on the Phoenixes' team.

Um, I think some of you are getting the wrong idea. You have to jump off the cliff, into the ring and take your crates back to one of the cabins, open them up and build a hot tub with what is 'Inside' the crates. ^^'

Eleonora stood there, smiling as she watched all the competitors dive down into the ring and hurry to shore.
"They do know that they can take the chicken way down, right?" she said and chuckled.

Veronica got up and hurried over to the mountain, raced up and panted as her legs quickly grew tired. She stopped to catch her breath, looked up and was surprised to see that she was already at the top.
The goth looked over the edge and gulped at how high up she was, and the host grinned.
"You could take the chicken way down.." she said mischievously and chuckled.
"No way." she answered and backed up a bit, then ran, jumped and did a few front flips to gain speed, then faced the water and felt her pale skin meet somewhat cold waters.

Her head popped up in the water and she swam swiftly over to the sand-covered land and stood up. She swiped water off herself and started wringing the water out of her hair, then looked up and saw six of her teammates already here, then walked over and glared at the pile of crates.
She grabbed the bottom one and pushed it out a bit, then got onto it, looked up at the top and slowly got the top crate down, and onto her head with her arms holding the sides.

Veronica stepped down and put the wooden box onto the sand, then started rolling it over to where she guessed the cabins were.

Cassandra smirked, watching as Lake threw the poor starfish at the boy. "I think we're supposed to take them back to the cabin." She said, scooping up as many items as she could, and quickly headed back towards the cabin, making sure that the other team could not see her too well. She had to hold back a groan as she heard someone screaming the name of their team. He was so loud, and would make a fool out of all of them. Cassandra shook her head, and glanced back to check if any of them were following.

------

Zac jogged up the mountain, and stopped at the very top, where he caught his breath. It was quite high, which worried him a bit. But his sister seemed to have made it, so he would probably have no problem. Before he could lose his courage, he took a running start and dived into the water, feeling the painful sting as he watched bubbles rise past him. His head resurfaced, and he took a gulp of air, then headed for the shore, where a few others were already gathered.

Veronica looked behind her for a second, and she rolled her eyes and sighed when she saw that none of her teammates were moving the crates to their destonation.

She rolled her box to dirt, and smiled when she saw the cabins.
The goth walked over to the right one then started to run back to the shore, and did the same thing she'd done to get the last crate down, then rolled it back to their cabin.

Camilla frowned at Veronica. They expected her to CARRY a crate to the cabins?! No way. No. Freaking. Way. What if she broke a nail? She just had them manicured a day ago. Camilla looked at Victor, before turning to Zac. Which one should she have carry it for her? Victor WAS more helpful with the luggage. Hoping she made the better decision, she headed over to Victor and touched his forearm. "Could you carry my crate for me?" she asked. "You look so strong! It would be SO easy for you! And your nice..."
-
Lake glowered at the crates, before picking one up and walking towards the cabin direction. He saw Veronica nearby. As he caught sight of her, he stepped forward until he was right behind her, before bumping into her on purpose, hopefully making her fall. "Oops. I'm sorry." he muttered, though his smirk said otherwise.

Ally quickly jogged up the mountain with ease. 'Maybe Daddy was right.' She thought as she got to the top putting her hands on her knees catching her breath. Ally backed up a bit then ran as a fast as she could jumping, putting her hands together and making her arms straight for speed. She took a deep breath before hitting the water.

As soon as Ally surfaced, she swam towards the shore. She looked at Zac and smiled. "Looks like we're on the same team. Could you help me with this crate?" Ally said trying to lift one of the bigger crates. "There's no 'i' in team, right?"

Maxwell climbed out of the cold pool of water and approached the others. "Let's do this thing!" he yelled, enthusiastically. Putting his arms around a crate, he attempted to lift it. "Hrrrrrgh!" it was a pathetic sight really, he looked like a two year old trying to open a jar of peanut butter. The only thing that was missing was the biting of the lid. "Alright, I got this. I totally got this." Maxwell then tried pulling it along the ground instead. it moved about 0.2 inches toward it's destination. "Yeah, this is gonna work!" he said, excited by the progress he had made.

Merek swam towards shore. There, everyone was hauling crates over to the cabins. He looked up at their tower of a crate stack and wondered how he could pull one down without knocking the whole stack over.

He turned to Camilla. She didn't seem to want to carry a crate, but perhaps she could still be useful...

"Hey, Camilla. How good are you at flirting?" He asked. A little straightforward of him, but... "See if you can talk one of those guys into lending us a crate so I can stand on it and reach these top boxes. Tell them we'll give it back."

Camilla arched an eyebrow at Merely when he spoke. "You expect me to USE a guy like that? Then crush his heart and throw it away?" She looked sad at that thought. "I could never do anything that horrible!" She walked closer to Merek before leaning closer to him and whispering to his ear. "I could do it, though. But in return, you will owe me one favor...."

Sorry for the long wait. I've been busy, plus I just couldn't find the time to get on. And, by now, I've only got an hour left on the computer. Again, sorry guys.

Veronica growled and slapped him in the cheek before he left.

Once the goth had rolled the second crate to their cabin, she'd noticed her team has yet to even get one on the ground.
She groaned and rolled her eyes, then walked over and crossed her arms.
Since you're all just kind of standing there.." she said and walked over to where Ally stood.
"Climb onto my shoulders, Ally. Grab one and then hop down, put it onto the ground and try again to get another. If we can get three down then it'll be simple to get one for the others, saying since the stack was eight, and is now six. So it'll leave a stack of three crates." she told the teen that seemed to be as old as she was, and felt confident to plan out a strategy, but she kept the excitement at bay.

Lake placed the crate on the ground when he got to the spot. He rubbed his cheek with distaste. It hadn't really hurt when Veronica slapped him, but it was starting to sting. His eyes narrowed to slits as he jogged back towards the shore to pick up another crate.

"A favor?" asked Merek, not sure if he would like where this was going... "What were you thinking?"

This girl may not have been too inclined to participate in manual labouur, but she clearly had a cleverness about her. It would certainly make her a good ally for the time being, but in the long run...

He shook his head to clear his thoughts. No. He had to stop worrying about the endgame. He had to keep his thoughts in the present.
