@jemmie--"I don't mind staying." Michael murmured, "Don't be sorry. You have every right in the world to snap at me. And sure." His tone was a bit deflated from before, and he almost sounded tired. Fiona was a nice kid, and she didn't deserve this at all.
jemmie • 10 February 2013 at 8:35 PM
@ems"As I grew up by myself, I met this girl. She was really pretty and nice, but something told me there was more to her. I wasn't wrong there. Although she was all cute and bubbly, her eyes was stern, dark, and cold. One day, she came over to me. She said I didn't belong in this world. That was the most harsh thing she had said to me."The next year, she wasnt there anymore. It was as if she just magically disappeared. But one day, when I was babysitting, I had a feeling I saw her, watching me with her ice cold eyes. I had thought I was just daydreaming, but now I know it was real. From the day on, I kept feeling like I was being watched. Now I know that I was."Then there was that period of time where...I was as happy as ever. I got $1,000 off the talent show. It was awesome! But the girl ruined it all. One of my best friends was...murdered. She was all sick looking. I knew I would loose her, but there was that feeling of hope. When she died it was all gone. The spark of hope was missing. I thought I'd never be happy again. But I eventually got over it, until now..." Fiona stared at the ground.
ems • 10 February 2013 at 8:58 PM
@jemmie better.@aizel *poke* Just in case.--Michael look over at Fiona. "Don't lose hope. Like I said, there's more, very powerful children like you. They'll be coming soon. And they will end it all." He said quietly.--Storm heard distant screams. Close. She was close.
jemmie • 10 February 2013 at 9:07 PM
@ems *pokes self THINK before you type me!* OW, MY FINGER!--"Well, sure, if you say so I..." Fiona gave a small smile. "Hope." She fidgeted. Finally, she made up her mind."I'm getting out of here," she decided.
ems • 10 February 2013 at 9:11 PM
@jemmie xD--"And I will die." Michael whispered to himself. "Well, glad that's settled." He sighed. A melancholy feeling passed over him, depressing him even more. Michael knew that there was life after death, and death was merely a gateway to the next life; there was nothing scary about it at all, yet he wasn't finished here. Michael hadn't found his special someone, and had no children. He didn't want to die yet, he hadn't done enough. He hadn't cured cancer--his life-long dream--or saved these kids. Michael hadn't discovered why the kids had powers, and why they had no biological parents. He hadn't done anything worthwhile.
jemmie • 10 February 2013 at 9:32 PM
@ems Fiona felt a strange tingle as she got up."Michael?" Fiona asked. "You okay?"What could be wrong? He hadn't been kidnapped. He isn't locked up in a cell. Yet something told Fiona that he was experiencing something too."You okay?" She repeated.
ems • 10 February 2013 at 9:43 PM
@jemmie--"Yes yes, I'm fine." Michael mumbled, leaving out what he wanted to say, 'Like you would care.' Fiona shouldn't care. She should hate him. Oh well. Hate was something Michael was getting accustomed to anyways.
jemmie • 10 February 2013 at 9:47 PM
@ems Fiona hesitated."Look, Michael. Just because I'm an Oddling doesn't mean I'm heartless. I thought you saw more to me than that! After all, you're the only one here that talks to me besides Avery!" With that, she turned around, ready to block him out.
ems • 10 February 2013 at 9:51 PM
@jemmie He didn't actually say that, so unless Fiona can read minds, she wouldn't know he thought that. She could infer it though. 😋--Michael said not much more. "Well, you should hate me anyways. I'm part of the reason you're here." He muttered, his expression darkening with guilt. "And I can't fix any of it without dying. Those who will come for you; they'll kill us. If I let you go, I'll be executed for it. You being free will end with my death. I don't want to die, but I want you all to be free. So, you see my dilemma." He wanted to snap at the girl, but refrained from it, not wanting to be cruel.
jemmie • 10 February 2013 at 10:01 PM
@ems Well, he MUMBLED "You're fine." That was a hint...right?--"I don't hate you!" Fiona exclaimed. "You're one of the nicest people I've met! I hate the girl that killed my BFF! If you think I hate you, then I hate you. Fine. But if you don't, then I don't. Plus, I'd rather sacrifice MY life!"Fiona took a deep breath. She rarely ranted on like that!
ems • 10 February 2013 at 10:27 PM
@jemmie Yeah, and the way he said it was a bit snappy, so it would be kind of obvious. 😋--"I didn't say you hate me, just that you should. And if you do, welcome to the club." Michael chuckled sarcastically, hating himself more than ever. "And some kid that I barely know shouldn't be making any sort of sacrifices for me." Michael tried to smile the fears and sadness away yet again. It didn't work. Again.
jemmie • 11 February 2013 at 8:05 AM
@ems xD--"Come on. I'm only 15, turning 16 next month. I don't have anything interesting in me. Plus, if what you really said is true, I might hurt people. But you? You're--" Fiona didn't know his age. "You'll probably find someone, have kids, and live a great life. You deserve it. So why do you still hate yourself?"
ems • 11 February 2013 at 10:30 AM
@jemmie--"Trust me Fiona, if you knew what you had in store for you, you wouldn't be saying that. And look at me. Look at what I do. I work for people who torture kids, kidnapp them for no good reason. I'm just as bad as them." He shook his head, as if disappointed. "The stress is killing me."
jemmie • 11 February 2013 at 9:27 PM
@ems Fiona crossed her arms defensively."I DONT know what's in store for me. You call the people 'torturing', so obviously you don't like that, and you didn't kidnap them. They did. So why do you have to be so hard on yourself?" Fiona sighed, remembering."You remind me of when I first started soccer," she said quietly. "I wasn't all that great back then. I could barely score a goal, and I knew that. But every time I missed I would hate myself. A lot. Now I realize that I was pretty decent back then. I don't exactly hate myself anymore either. Look, if you don't want to be hard on others, at least start not being hard on yourself."
ems • 11 February 2013 at 9:36 PM
@jemmie A 15 year old lecturing a 27 year old? XD This is getting interesting. 😋@aizel--Michael stood. "I chose to work here." He muttered, and he squeezed his eyes shut. He turned away from the girl. "I have to go." He said quietly, striding away. Without stopping, Michael turned to Avery. "I'm going out to lunch, I'll be back in an hour or so, 'kay?" He said. The scientists rarely went out to lunch, but Michael wanted to clear his head.
jemmie • 11 February 2013 at 9:43 PM
@ems I know, awkward. But that's kind of the only thing Fiona has to do here...@aizel--Avery? "Hey," greeted Fiona. "Got any cell signal around here? I tried, but I couldn't get any." She made a face, but smiled. It was nice to be talking to a girl again. "So where are all the others?" Fiona questioned.
ems • 11 February 2013 at 9:54 PM
@jemmie xD@aizel--Michael cringed as he left the building. Time to get through the super-creepy, foggy forest. Taking a deep breath, he began to power walk through the thick, wet fog.--Storm howled again, hoping to frighten anyone who dared to explore the forest. She heard various rodents scatter. "Fear me, little ones. Let me invade your mind, filling your nightmares with an evil greater than your comprehension." She hissed with delight.--Michael stiffed as he heard a lone howl. "Oh dear..." He gulped to himself.
cynder5 • 12 February 2013 at 11:20 PM
@emsTusami~I hear the howling again nad turn towards the sound. "She will learn her lesson." I whisper before walking back to my house.
ems • 13 February 2013 at 12:03 AM
@jemmie@cynder5@jupiter_hollow / @aizel--Storm chuckled darkly, heading towards the loudest noise, coming from where she had heard screams. "Come out, little mouse," She cooed, "I won't hurt you." But the sickly sweet tone of her voice said otherwise.--Michael heard a silky voice, urging him to come out. Not answering, he began to sprint through the forest.Bad idea. For the huntress had heard his booming footsteps, and laughed, the sound carrying all around. And her prey could not find the source.
jemmie • 27 February 2013 at 5:37 PM
@ems OMG haven't posted in like, forever!@cynder5 @aizel/@jupiter_hollow Hey Jupe. 😸--There was no reply. Sighing, Fiona made her way to the back of the cell. Sitting down in a droopy way, she examined the room. Why do I have to be me? Fiona scolded herself in her mind. She fiddled with a tiny bud. Resting her face into her knees, she couldn't help but feel bored. Fiona decided she was see her power's power. With the tiny bud on the floor, she blew a hot, misty air towards her hand. Then, she wrapped her hand around the bud. It instantly bloomed. Staring into the middle of the flower, her eyes felt teary. She couldn't find her family, or her real, true self. But she did find one thing in particular.Hope.

@jemmie On thi account ^^ Hello, I thought this had passed away. I was off for the entire week so I couldn't post. Sorry.@ems @kurochi-akuma @cynder5 'Ey my little snowflakes, are you still busy?-With a muffled sigh, Avery watched the black-haired man walk off, leaving Flower and her alone for a much avoided conversation. The girl was anything but unpleasant, more of a talkative person and very inquisitive - qualities Avery herself respected. However, the woman had never handled and probably would never learn to hand, sadness. Whether it was her or someone ese experiencing it, she could only pretend happy and refuse to pay attention to anything else. And now, while the girl was tearing up again, she weighted down her options."Hey..." she mumbled, crouching next to the cage again, plopping down on the floor nonchalantly like she'd done before. "Look... 'm not up for consoling or... listening to people. I'm more of a joke-about-everything type of person." she lightly chuckled, to lift the mood."Bad things do happen. How you respond to them defines your character and the quality of your life. You can choose to sit in sadness, grieving your losses, or to rise and treasure the most precious gift - life itself."
jemmie • 27 February 2013 at 6:02 PM
@jupiter_hollow @ems @cynder5 --Fiona smiled wearily. "Don't worry," she said, laughing. "I think I'm fine." Then she straightened up. Sweeping her hair to the side, she got up to go to the bars. "Is there cell signal?" Fiona grinned. Half of her was being a genuine, cheery person. But the other half was trying to push the sad feeling away. Her smiled disappeared for a moment.
ems • 27 February 2013 at 10:05 PM
@jemmie@jupiter_hollow That's okay. 😋@cynder5@kurochi-akumaY'all have neglected this RP. *mock anger*--Michael pushed through the fear, just trying to get away, but Storm had other plans for her new pet. "Hello, pet." Her voice sweetly rang. A shadow appeared next to the dark-haired man, and he yelped, recoiling in fear. The curved figure made of shadow was obviously female, and had three long, sharp, curved claws on each 'hand'. A sudden burst of fog surrounded the figure, and when it dissipated, left a young girl, who couldn't be older than sixteen. Michael cowered, and the girl laughed."All you need to tell me dear-" She said, walking forward. "-is where you have the others." She ended in a whisper, her hand on Michael's shoulder. Michael shook his head vigorously. "Then you shall suffer." The girl said, cocking her head. "You fools are always so stubborn." Her lovely green eyes flashed a horrid red like the shadow's eyes, and her teeth sharpened to points, her face twisting into a cruel smile as she wrapped a hand around Michael's neck. "And you fools always pay for it. Will you ever learn?" She hissed in an inhuman way. Her nails dug into Michael's neck as he gasped for air, and the frightening child held him in the midair. "Tell me." She snarled, digging in father, and although blood began to drip down Michael's neck, the man managed to shake his head slightly. "Then die." Story's face contorted with rage as she continued strangling the scientist. "You idiots have imprisoned my kind, running awful tests and feeding them terrible food. Well answer me this; would you do that to your precious 'normal' people?" She hissed. "No." Michael gasped out. "WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?!" Storm demanded, her voice rising to a shout. "You... Hurt... Us. Lead us into woods... Kill." Michael said softly, slowly relaxing as he began to black out.-c
raindrop • 28 February 2013 at 12:45 AM
-cStorm dropped him in disgust, licking the blood from her nails as Michael gingerly touched his neck where a handprint was charley showing. "You disgust me. Have you fools ever thought to communicate with us?" She asked harshly. "Well... No." Michael nearly whimpered. "Go. I'll be waiting here. And if you don't show me where they are, I will track you down and kill you." She snarled quietly, her breath hot on Michael's face. "I've got your scent, little mouse, and your blood tastes good. You'll be a tasty snack. Unless you're useful, of course. Then you'll be rewarded with survival." She disappeared again, and her voice called through the forest. "Now GO!" And Michael sprinted away like the devil was after him, but not towards town. The Oddling followed like a shadow at a great distance. He lead her right where she wanted to be.Michael burst into the laboratory, a panicked expression on his face. "Avery!" He shouted, half running, half stumbling over to the other scientist. "There's one coming." The words fell like a rock out of his mouth, and his neck still throbbed. His breathing was shallow and came in short gasps as if he couldn't get enough air, and his face was flushed a bright pink.
jupiter_hollow • 28 February 2013 at 3:32 AM
@ems @jemmie @cynder5-The light feeling of dread settled in Avery's stomach as Michael burst through the door, looking alarmed. Before the man had so much as said anything, she had unsheathed her gun. Only the petrified look on his face was enough to send her in a bustling frenzy, charging towards the door and slamming in shut in one action.Loading her gun, she stationed herself near the widely open window, crouching."Take this." Avery flicked a light and handly revolver in his direction, motioning for him to take a comfortable place in front of the experiment cells. "Protect them with everything." she ordered curtly, giving out a small sigh of exasperation. He was not to blame for leading the untamed Oddling here, but she felt as though he was panicking needlessly. It wasn't uncommon for Michael, he was a rather shy and nice type of guy. He was a scientist, not a fighter - so naturally, he used brain in front of brawl, even though sometimes, brain didn't work...
jemmie • 28 February 2013 at 7:42 AM
@jupiter_hollow @ems Everyone else ditched this thing...--Fiona watched the two. Even though her face remained emotionless, she was panicked inside. Who? What? Where? The young girl knew that she was an Oddling. But she was good. So why did she have the feeling that she was on the Oddling's side? Taking a deep breath, she stared at the ground, trying to think things out. I'm good! Fiona kept lecturing herself, but it wasnt working. She imagined those cartoons. An angel and a devil perched on the person's shoulders. Fiona felt as if it was really happening. An angel, telling her that she was a nice, kind, good girl. And then a devil, telling her it was wrong to be this way. That she should be free. That she should be a real Oddling...
kurochi-akuma • 28 February 2013 at 11:05 AM
@jemmie @ems@jupiter_hollowI just don't know what's going on! ;A;
ems • 28 February 2013 at 8:25 PM
@jupiter_hollow@jemmie Just when it was getting interesting too. 😋@kurochi-akuma Just read this page, or my extremely long post. ><--Michael took the gun and stepped back, still shaking a bit. The gun quivered in his hand, and he looked at Avery, an idea popping into his head. "What if we tried to communicate with it? Maybe... Maybe we can come to an understanding, and no one gets hurt." He said quietly. But it was far too late for apologies."I'd like to thank my pet for leading me here." Storm cackled as her form changed once more. The shadow figure stretched its claw, red eyes glowing maliciously. "Now you release my kin, and pay your dues." She strode towards the lab, eager to taste blood. Snapping her claws, she caused even more fog to erupt into the air, hiding her from sight.
jemmie • 6 March 2013 at 6:09 PM
@ems @kurochi-akuma @jupiter_hollow --Fiona snapped back from reality. Panic kept bubbling inside her."What's happening?" Oops. Dumb question. She knew what was happening. Someone was coming to strike them. Her body sagged as she leaned against the wall. They might get killed...she thought. But that wasnt the part that made her feel dead and guilty. It was the fact that the strange and devilish Oddling was one of her. Fiona was on her feet in an instant.Fiona's arm slid through the bars, and started waving the the air. "Wait. Michael, Avery, wait..."
ems • 6 March 2013 at 7:26 PM
@jupiter_hollow *poke*@jemmie@kurochi-akuma~Micheael gulped, not even hearing Fiona behind him. 'Now, release my kin and pay your dues.' Surely this meant death. "W-wait!" He called, barely getting the nerve to say something to the creature outside, "Can't... Can't we talk this out?" He asked hopefully, though her was petrified with fear. Laughter echoed closer to the building."Talk it out? Dear, you used your chance. You didn't listen. And now my friends sit in the cold, eating slop while you snuggle up in nice cozy beds, dreaming about your big, rich breakfast you'll have the next day. And your biggest worry is whether or not you'll have the time to shower. Their biggest worry is whether or not they'll wake up tomorrow. It ends now." Storm crept closer and closer to the door to the bottom floor. So close to revenge.
