This is a mix of Harry Potter/Percy Jackson/Warriors/Spies and Soul Eater.

A while before, actually, CENTURIES ago, people mysteriously disappeared. People still do today, more commonly children. They are taken away to a parallel universe were everyone's dreams are suited.
Some rather famous people are sometimes snatched away, Nefertiti, etc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_who_disappeared_mysteriously <----- just an understanding. historical figures are more of the main characters here)
Well, in this world, you can't die. You're immortal. But your soul can be trapped in a small container and only special magic and can seal the jar and open it so therefore, it's over. (read more for people who have magic) You will remain what you looked like when you first appeared in the world and you will never grow but you can be more mature, etc (ex. a 3 years old girl who has been in the world for about 20 years will have the knowledge, strength, etc of a 23 year old... even though she's quite short and small but 40 years later, she will still be young and strong).
The historical figures were used to power before they were taken away and in this world, they are powerless so they banded together and tried to take over the world. They have almost taken over all of it.
Ancient magic started speeding up how long it took and how much people were snatched away. The original rulers of world (who are good guys til the end) understood what was to be done and...

... started training the people who were snatched there. Why? Because, the were the last hope. The first thing that happened once you were snatched was making a weapon. People (later explained; groups) were scattered across the world. If you spawned (sorry) somewhere close to one of them, they would find you and bring you to the school. Then you had to enroll, etc, and the teachers would bring you to the room and you'd make a weapon (a plain, simple weapon, no magic, no fancy-fancy stuff, it can be a weapon that does not even exist yet... like a spikeball mixed with a sword... ouch~ do not steal the idea, be creative) yourself because if it was built by your own hands, you would (sorta) become attached to the weapon (no magic, just like you're attached to a stuffed bear). The students were trained to fight to defend good. Students were children from the ages 8-15 because of their youth. Elders/adults who were lucky were asked to take a test and could (maybe) become a wizard to help defend them. After about two years in training, the students had to graduate to give room for the new students. Every generation followed the same procedures almost automatically: leave school, form a group, elect a leader. With the soul power of all of the group members, magic was born in the group and the magic would attach itself to the leader, giving him/her the power of magic (no levitating people 6000 feet in the air, just healing... basic stuff... freeing people -post 1-)

You must find a path... and become the most FAMOUS PERSON EVER... or become trapped forever. Will you make it?

@ems O.O XD Sorry, I meant another thing... why the heck did I write GOD-MODDING then? XD Well, I MEANT no... like, changing the plot of the RP, like, I set up what's gonna happen, like, a small girl comes and asks for help and then SOMEONE might write that the girl dies... you know what I mean... changing the story. XD What I meant was stick to the storyline.
