@Orderedchaos I entirely understand if this new addition to EC is having some glitches. And I don't know any naughty words in other languages, so it's probably best to censor them anyways. XD
I just laugh about it right now. Makes me feel immature, but you know. I haven't laughed in a while. T_T Right now, I'm just typing and seeing if any other common words are censored out.

I wasn't suggesting any kind of change to the rules. I was just trying to look at systems used by other websites in the past regarding the exact same issue. I can see your point though.

I suppose we'll all just have to wait until the censor works itself out. Until then, we can modify our arsenal of words.

I thought I was going crazy. I was so confused.

At first I thought people were doing it on purpose to be funny, but then I just got confused.

This does seem like a good idea. I've seen many users saying things that shouldn't be said and it made me a bit anxious for a younger cousin of mine wanting to join.

And EggCave is still more relaxed than Neopets, which is great. 😃

Neopets hasn't worked out its filters years later... XD Every time I try and send a neomail something is off and I can never figure it out. Ultimately, it is preferable that a yeep be filtered in instead of not beinga ble to send the message.

I'm happy to see that the common word issues on eggcave are being worked out! 😃

People always try to get around the rules don't they? No bad words means NO bad words. No, you cannot space them out so they won't be caught, or use asterisks OR spell them differently. Goodness, grow up, you don't NEED to swear.xD

If anyone comes across a common or appropriate word that is being filtered, please remember to send in a Ticket so we can fix it!
It's gonna be take some time before the filter is fully operational. There are still a few kinks to work out.
