Does any more really need to be said?
After the first five problems, I just feel burnt out. Probably the top reason I should have known that I was not going to make it as a science major. 😋 Numbers freak me the heck out.

Anyone else share my despair for all mathematical? ☚ī¸

Same here.
I love it, but I'm terrible at it. 😋 And my mom pushes me so hard in my math and science classes because she knows I'm going into medical field, and you need to be crazy good in those classes >_>

...You know, if you're planning on doing science, that involves a LOT of math...

@purrclan

Hence why I'm no longer a science major. lol xD
I somehow was under the delusion that I would be able to pull myself together somehow. But nope, intro to chem, and I already felt like clawing my brains out.
so now I'm in the English department where I belonged all along.

@whisper

Yeah, precisely.
I remember when I was telling a friend that I was not happy in Bio at all and that I wanted to declare English my major rather than my minor and then just forget Bio altogether, and naturally he warned me how Bio is the more "practical field" and on and on...which is fair enough.
But if you just don't have the skills or drive for it, the practicality part of the equation is pretty much nonexistent.

@purrclan

It did, but then I edited it like a ninja because it said exactly the opposite of what I'd intended. See, math is frying my brain. ;--;

@metaphor I absolutley positively loathe math. My mom as I grew up asked me if I was a goldfish, because I couldn't remember anything. (I knew that fish are actually pretty smart, but she dislikes being contradicted 😊)

@metaphor I like numbers....it's just when they start making letters and mixing them into equations is when it gets rough. Upper level maths is really hard, lots of letters, and practically no numbers.

I don't really hate math or anything, just plain bored of taking it. Cannot be bothered to calculate how many years spent in a math related class....

But don't leaaaveeee D:
Only 5 girls left in my math class of 40something. Please. It looks so weird D8

@darthvader
YEAH. ; A ;
A classmate of mine once told me that her Stats. class homework mainly consisted of writing essays/ paragraphs. I have to take it soon. I'm prepared to roll over and die.

@metaphor I feel you, but I think that it's growing on me! D: And I don't want to like it... But the only part I actually like is algebra, like, solving for x and such... I don't like doing it because I have to, but sometimes I get all into it. XD It's a complicated love/hate relationship. Most of the time though, it bores me to DEATH. And the worst part is I'm slightly dyslexic, so I screw some problems up if I'm not paying attention. XD

Tell me about it ☚ī¸ I loved math up until Calculus... Calc kicks my butt!

*blankly stares at review problems for test* I feel your pain -_- Majoring in any kind of science is hard... I'm majoring in Bio - wish me luck, ha!

I /wish/ math came easy to me. I honestly do see why people who are good at it enjoy it. But when you're as number-illiterate as I am, it's just painful. ;---;

There will be harder things. 😋
Trust me... If you think Algebra is hard...
You're in for a whole lot of stuff later on xD

@metaphor i dont struggle with maths, i find it rather easy, im not too good with fractions, but we dont really get them anymore so its easy 😊
right now we're learning yr 11 algebra, rather easy 😊
what i struggle with is not getting bored with it and ending up talking...it happens pretty often, im too social for school xD
good luck in your maths 😊
