"We won't have to move, not if Akuma and I have anything to say about it. We weren't made Fighters early for nothing! Right, Aku--?" But the demon whom she was addressing was darting from tree to tree, sniffing the trunks and behaving like a kit. Kaora facepawed.
"Sometimes I wonder if he's really older than me."

@Ems I've been taking notes on book writing for a while now, so that this one doesn't fail like just about every other book I've tried to write has. XP

Fyre wonders what exactly Akuma was doing, but again dropped he subject. "You guys aren't fighting alone though.. And I would rather move than lose lives. Anyways, let's head back to camp. Maybe Freeze knows what that thing is. Akuma? You, uh, done over there?" Fyre chuckled lightly.

Akuma had poked his head down a hole, and apparently was incapable of hearing at the moment.

"Shh..." Kaora warned Fyre as she crept slowly in Akuma's direction. She avoided the dead leaves as she moved slowly towards her quarry. Once she was directly behind him...

"GAAAH!!!" yelped Akuma as Kaora's unsheathed claws lodged in the fur on his shoulders. "IT'S GOT ME!"
He bucked wildly as he twisted, trying to get a look at his attacker. Fortunately for him, he was in wolf form at the moment, and his thick fur prevented Kaora from digging her claws into his flesh... Which, of course, she didn't want to.
When he finally caught sight of Kaora, he barked, "Get off, you great lump!"
Alas, Kaora felt her paws slipping, so she sprang from his shoulders and landed gracefully on her feet.
"Serves you right for getting distracted!" called Kaora over her shoulder.

Fyre laughed at Akuma heartily, smiling broadly. "Nice one, Kaora." He congratulated the fighter. He shifted into his snake/wolf form, shaking his fur to loosen it up a bit.

Mm. I'm good at poetry when I'm motivated. XP

Kaora beamed at the Second in Command's praise before shifting into her wolf form. Everybody else was a wolf now, so why not? She unfurled her feathery wings slightly, opening them to the fresh air. Akuma seemed to prefer to keep his closed now, but Kaora wasn't surprised; she thought she'd felt a muscle wrench in one when he was panicking.

With his snake-tail waving behind him, Fyre stretched, wanting to go back and speak with Freeze, yet enjoying the time to screw-off with Kaora and Akuma. He couldn't just push the threats to the back of his mind... Someone could get hurt. "I'd love hang around, but I need to speak with Freeze... See you guys around." Fyre smiled, and bounded off towards camp in a near-frenzy, the smile quickly falling away.

I almost pinged myself instead of you. 😋 But here's a summary:
Akuma came back to camp covered in blood, then went back out. Mono saw this huge grey bear thing in the woods, and Fyre needed to see Starstrike, so they tracked Akuma, who had supposedly been going on a walk with her, and as such would have been the last to see her. They found him in this strange open-roofed hut-type thing, and Kaora was suspicious and thought the blood had a familiar scent in it. But they started walking back, and Akuma and Fyre were talking. Akuma felt the need to say that he didn't kill Startrike and told Fyre that she told him to tell Fyre that she had gone on a mission, and Fyre got angry and that's why Akuma defended himself against killing Starstrike, and then Akuma started sniffing at tree roots and stuff for no reason and they fooled around for a minute or so, and now Fyre's going back to camp. I believe you just entered the forest.

Kaora turned to Akuma before saying, "I think I'd better get back to camp too."
Then she began to follow the path Fyre had taken less than a moment a go more slowly, all worries about the scent in the blood forgotten.

Fyre had forgotten nothing. But the blood scent wasn't really anything to worry about; so he thought. His main worry as of now was the grey thing. Was it even a thing? He finally made it to camp, swinging his head left and right. He didn't see the third commander.... Oh dear. Fyre gritted his teeth in agitation, before calmly padding around and poking his head into various rooms. Nope. Did he miss the commander somewhere?

Kaora trotted tiredly to the little burrow she had dug for herself to sleep in before slithering inside in a snakelike fashion. The tunnel slowly widened until it opened into the large chamber she had made for herself when her dragon form was still small enough to fit, where she lay down for a short nap among the various objects she had stolen from humans. There was a small nightstand that she had had to use her secret, larger entrance to drag in. On top of the little night stand lay a dusty, well-fingered book, which Kaora had used to read to herself before she would fall asleep. Beside it sat an oil lantern, which she would use for reading on the warm, summer nights when a regular fire was unnecessary. At the back of the burrow sat a small hearth, a scale model for a larger one, but that was big and working nonetheless. This, too, had required the use of her secret entrance, being as big as it was. A small bookshelf stood to the left of the chamber, empty but for a small wooden carving of a wolf, which howled soundlessly at a moon which it couldn't see. Kaora had found it in an alleyway one night when she had been exploring, and thought it looked lonely. She had made a split-second decision to take it home, and ever since it had sung silently on her bookshelf, lonely no more.

Sadie's game with Andrew had long since ended, and the young demon laid in the tall green grass, looking for shapes in the clouds. The white tufts of fluff never ceased to make her smile. As childish and touchy-feely it seemed, it was really calming. Peaceful. The sun warmed her cheeks, and her eyelids lazily blinked. "I should go back and... Train..." She mumbled with a small yawn.

So, despite her sleepy mind's resistance, sat up and blinked, stretching before standing. Sadie quickly shifted into her golden wolf form, wagging her tail before dashing off towards camp.

Tusami walked around shifting to her cat form. She considered using her dragon form but after her incident she might not. Not for a very long time. She bounded through the forest using the cats nose to explore every inch of the forest.

Sadie was soon sidetracked by a wild rabbit. With nothing better to do, she decided to indulge herself in a rapid chase. Soon enough she was chasing the poor creature in circles everywhere, and the rabbit was unable to shake her. Sadie began to close in as the bunny began to tire.

SNAP!

Sadie ran straight into a tree as her prey burrowed into a hollow root. Howling in pain she rolled onto her back.

Tusami's head shot straight up at the sound of a thunk. She turned and headed towards the sound nearing a tree. She sniffed cautiously detecting rabbit and one of ehr fellow demons. "Sadie?" She called out cautiously.

"I'm fine I'm fine." Sadie snarled unexpectedly, morphing into her human form, resting a hand on her head. "I need to get back to camp anyhow." And with that, she brushed past Tusami and started back for camp again.

Purity's ears flicked up at Sadie's impudence.
"Sorry, I think she's just a bit cranky after that bang on the head," she said softly as she stepped out of the bushes and following Tusami.

Sadie grumbled all the way back, a scent of blood - faint but present - filling her nostrils as she came up to camp. She noticed Akuma about to enter camp, and walked over. "Hi Akuma!" She smiled on her way into camp. She should see the healer. Oo, there was Fyre! Perfect time for training! Though he did seem gravely troubled... Oh well! Instantly forgetting her pains, she bounced over.

"Fyre!"

Tusami heard Purity following her. "Leave me alone." The blind demon snapped. "I'm not in the mood to talk." With that she shifted to her dragon form and left taking to the skies.

Fyre turned, his eyes full of faint terror before it dispersed in faked happiness. "Hey Sadie! Listen, I'd love to train but--"
"--You have business to attend to." Sadie's face darkened as she gave her mentor a slight glare.

"Fyre! You promised!" Sadie whined, and Fyre gave her a quick hug. "I know, I'm really sorry Sadie. But this is really important."

"What is?"
"Not now."
"You owe me!"
"I owe you nothing!"
"Yes you do!"
"No I don't; please Sadie, not now. Classified, if you will."
"No, I won't."
"... It's an expression, Sadie."
"Whatever! You still owe me!"
"Have you seen Freeze anywhere?"
"No! Ways so important?!"
"Nothing. It's nothing. Everything's fine."
"That's what you say when something's *very* wrong."
"Sadie, not now!" Fyre pushed his apprentice away, looking obviously frazzled and frayed. "I don't have time for this!" His voice had been raised more than he'd ever raised it with Sadie, and the younger demon looked slightly frightened.

"Sadie, please." Fyre sighed. Without another word, Sadie dashed out of camp again, leaving her mentor feeling guilty.

Tusami landed slightly better than before mainly because as hse started to crash into the trees she shifted to her cat form nad clung to tree branches as she fell. She sat up and pulled out her hearing.

Sadie quickly exited camp, not looking back. Man, sometimes she hated that hot-headed, foolish, brash and crazy demon. She shivered for no real reason, maybe it was her anger. Or fear.... Either way, Sadie didn't seem to notice as she crashed into tree after tree, though it did hurt quite a bit. Finally feeling far enough away from everything, she leaned up against a tree (he tree Tusami's in), and sighed to herself, closing her eyes. Huggin her knees to her chest, Sadie let the silence seep into her being, her soul, filling the crevices with sweet relief. She allowed herself a small smile.

@meixiaotian XD Well someone saw a gray bear and Fyre's freaking out. Starstrike has taken a vacation or something, so Freeze is the only other demon he can consult. Featherstar quite so I'm assuming she's of of the RP now lol. Um... I don't really remember the rest so you should ask @whitefire about her characters. 😋
