@whitefire I'm suspicious. Is Akuma secretly evil? .___.--"Ah, I see." Fyre said shortly, his eyes narrowing as he glanced at the shack opening. He couldn't see anything. Akuma was weird, period. But what was he hiding?The moment seemed to last forever, Fyre's narrowed, icy eyes flickering from the boy to the opening, but abruptly ended. He flashed a grin, his eyes brightening. "Well then, if you see her, tell her I must have a word with her." He said, and without another word, turned to leave, his charismatic smile morphing into a demonic grin as the demon hoped had scared the pants off the suspicious kid. After all, people - and demons - who had something to hide were always the most jumpy. And Fyre was never one to turn down an opportunity to tease.

Akuma smiled a seemingly relieved smile and replied, "I will!" He then bounded away after Fyre. Kaora watched and turned to sniff suspiciously at the entrance to the shack."Kaora, you coming?" came Akuma's voice from somewhere up ahead."Yeah!" Kaora replied as she turned to follow them.Swiftly she caught up, still thinking about the familiar scent in the blood.@EmsGoodnight, ugh. I'm tired.

@whitefire Night! ^^--Glancing over, Fyre noticed Akuma's relieved smile, and held back a maniacal laugh. Heh. The pair bounded after him, but the commander didn't have anything else to say, really. Small talk not being his strong suit, he decided to stay silent... Mostly. "So, how's it been going?"

"And you?"Kaora knew that she had to find out about that hut. She would find out. She knew she had to; there was something important about it that she just had to discover. Perhaps she would find the source of the blood. Perhaps she would find where Akuma kept disappearing to. Whatever secrets the shack held would soon be uncovered... she hoped.

@whitefire Sure, I'll look at it.--"Eh. Just as stressful as before, I suppose." Fyre replied. "Though it's been pretty quiet. Until Mono saw that bear-thing... I really need to speak with Starstrike about that as soon as I can..." He trailed off, too stressed about the day's turn of events to relish Akuma's relief.

The boy just wasn't made for socializing, that much was obvious."Glad I didn't choke on it either!" he exclaimed, taking the statement as a joke,and chuckled lightly.A loud rumble of his stomach cut his laughter short."Let's go Addy." he promptly hollored at the grumpy blonde sitting just a few feet away. His call was answered with a ratherdeadly glare which failed to intimidate the boy.Instead, he trotted, remaining oblivious to Adaxiel's cold stare, and nonchalantly hauled the girl over his shoulder, books alike dragged along with her."Put me down you idiot!" she growled, slamming the hardcover 500-page tome on his head."Aow!" the brunette whined sulkily, pouting like a kicked puppy, but gradually got over the hit. Remembering Lehrriya, he whipped around."Hey Ria, we're going to return to camp for lunch, you coming? There should be some meat, I'm guessing most hunters brought their catch over already." he informed her, inoring the fact that he himself was a hunter and should be doing his job at the moment.

She asked squinting at the sky with her pumpkin-orange eyes, "I'll come along then, I'm starving!" She shifted quickly into her human form and bounded after the two of them. "I'm supposed to be scouting, but it's way too quiet here anyways. There's nothing to scout for!" She complained while straightening her jacket.

@whitefire xD--Fyre spun. "So, Akuma," He said, obviously holding back rage. "You mean to tell me that Starstrike just left? Told you to tell me that I'd be running things for a while, and left without reason?" He wanted to demand info on he hut... But it wasn't his business... Or was it? He didn't want to scare the other demon off though, so he settled for rubbing his temples and letting out a deep breath before shaking his head. "Don't bother answering... The important thing is she's gone." He muttered, and resumed his brisk pace towards camp. Suspicions filled his mind. Akuma had been covered in blood.... And he seemed afraid about Fyre looking at the hut so intensely... But would he go as far as to kill Starstrike? Fyre didn't think so. Probably some weird sacrifice or whatever. Akuma was a very weird boy after all.

Akuma seemed to sense the other demon's thoughts, for his face twisted into a mask of horror."What, did you think I'd kill Starstrike? Why on Earth would you think that! I love her, I love her dearly, and she loves me back!" Akuma seemed truly mortified at the notion that he would kill Starstrike. She was, after all, his mate.Kaora spoke up for the first time in a while."No, I don't think Akuma would kill Starstrike. No, I don't think he COULD kill her. She was, other than me and Mom, the only one who would even go near him after the Prophecy. Everybody either abused him or shunned him, aside from the three of us." She shot a swift, reproachful glare at Fyre before continuing. "No, how could he kill as dear a friend as that? And even if he had, unless he was truly demented, he would have claimed his own life afterwards because of the horror of what he had done. And no, I don't think he appears quite that demented, do you?"@EmsLong post is long. CX I'm starting the series tomorrow, by the way. 😸

@whitefire What series? o.0--"I never said that." Fyre growled back, not stopping his steady pace. "I... Urg, never mind." He shook his head, agrivated. He had so much to do, and so little time. Bears... Hunters... Training... And now Starstrike had just disappeared, leaving him to run things. Fyre ran a hand through his deep brown hair, letting out a quick breath. "No, I don't think Akuma is that demented. I don't want to believe the prophacy either. I just have a lot on my plate, that's all." He murmured quietly.

Kaora felt a touch of concern."You know there's still the Third in Command left to help you, right? And if there's anything I can do, besides staying out of the way, just tell me." She gave a little bounce as she reached the phrase "staying out of the way;†she was truly a child.Akuma, meanwhile, was sniffing at the roots of a tree, as though he was barely out of the nursery.@EmsGoing to bed now, goodnight!

@whitefire Good morning. 😋 Short post is short. XD@chapus2009 *poke*--Fyre sighed. "I know Kaora." The stress lessened, but Fyre still had to figure out what the heck that bear was, and why it was here. The third commander would be able to give out a good guess... Right?

"And about that bear thing you spoke about earlier... that couldn't have been a bear. To have been able to shake the Earth around Mono like that, it would have had to be something huge... If it IS a bear, either the humans mutated it to be huge, or it's a rampaging bear demon. Either way, we'd be able to beat it. But I doubt it's either of those..." Kaora trailed off, not knowing how to finish the sentence. If it's not either of those, what is it? Could it, perchance, be a dragon demon? Well, she was too, if only partway. Whatever it was, it could be beaten off, right?@EmsRemember how I said that I was starting a series about this, called "Where the Lines Blur?" Well, I'm going to make a book based on it, too. Or maybe a book series. Either way, there's gonna be a sequel to the first book. Unless I lose motivation midway, as I often do. 😋

@whitefire Oh yeah. XD Cool! ^3^--"Well until we know what it is, take extra precautions, would you?" Fyre replied wih a faint smile, trying to lighten the mood just a bit. "Besides, we've beaten off a lot of things during my lifetime. There isn't much we can't handle. And the worst thing that happens in this situation is that we'd be forced to move." Fyre knew that wasn't the worst thing that could happen, but he didn't really want to wallow anymore. Now was the time to take action - before it grew too late.
