Changing your Main Pet?

Kinda confused. How to you change the pet that shows up to everybody in forums n stuff to another pet?

On the tabs on the tops, do you see how it says "My stuff" ?
You click on "Prefences" on the drop-down menu, and then you go to "Profile"
and you will see a list that says "profile Pet" I think, and you can choose your pet there.

I have that same problem on my DSi. *Sigh*
Then, sorry, you can't change it, as far as I know.

I found sometimes if you click a different tab then back to the one you want it works
