Liefel Forest (RP)

Aurora flicked her tail in annoyance. She had been stuck in this forest for weeks now. 'I would've been long gone if I hadn't touched that meteor,' she thought. 'But, that's really strange. Why would Pokemon change from just touching it? It's just a rock.' She tilted her head to the side as she tried to remember all of the Pokemon that had flocked to the meteor. 'There was a big dragon... A Hydreigon maybe? A few Eeveelutions too.. A Houndoom.. There was a Riolu that evolved.. Argh, why am I thinking about this so much?' Shaking her head, Aurora moved on.

After a while, she noticed a large figure soaring overhead. 'Is that the Hydreigon at the meteor?' she wondered. Aurora followed the dragon type, but she fell far behind it. Once she found it and quietly hid herself in some bushes behind it, she saw that it was sitting by a Marill and a Lucario. 'Oh, I guess I remembered correctly. They were at the meteor too. Hmm, that Hydreigon doesn't seem to be friendly. Then again, barely any Hydreigon aren't hostile these days. I guess I should help.'

Aurora drew her tail to her mouth in hopes of keeping the two Pokemon quiet as she charged a Dragonbreath.

From far away she might have looked almost like a flying-type, sitting on the ground. Her wings were spread out like she was about to take flight, but she never did. Alex was no flying-type at all, not even close, she was a fire and dark-type. She was actually okay with not being able to fly, she wasn't one for heights anyways, the highest she usually climbed was a medium height tree, that was about it though.

She looked like any other Houndoom except for the giant black wings and the spikes on her legs. The only reason she looked so strange was that freak meteor. She'd come close to it after it landed, touched it for only a couple seconds, and BAM! She was a mutant-thing. She seemed a little awkward with the new weight added to her back but she'd get used to it. She could help but wonder how the heck that giant chunk of space rock had mutated her like this. She couldn't help but wish she was back in her old forest. She shook that thought away though, this forest was ten times better than her old forest and she was not going back.

Vella sensed another's aura approaching behind the Hydreigon. Now that she payed more attention, the Hydreigon's aura was lashing around wickedly. The aura of the Pokemon behind it however was tense, it put its tail over its mouth... Did it think the Hydreigon intended to hurt them? Vella took a step forward, "Merlynn, stay behind me," She said as she narrowed her eyes.

"What? You just woke up, don't you dare think about fighting a Dragon Pokemon the way you are now!" He put his hands on his hips, "You should lie right back down and get some more rest, now!"

Vella slouched and crossed her arms as much as she could without accidentally cutting herself on her own blades. "Who made you leader all of the sudden?" She jived, pouting a little.

"I did after I used all of this time getting that fever of yours to break. You owe me, I saved your life." Merlynn grinned at her, crossing his own arms to mock her.

"I've saved you plenty of times too you know..." Vella smirked.

"Oh yeah?" Merlynn raised an eyebrow, "What about that time you fell into the river?"

Vella blinked and uncrossed her arms, "Which one?"

Hydreigon chuckled and grinned, "I see you just touched that meteor." he said, observing the Lucario's reaction to it's new body. He then felt an immense power behind him and turned around yo face Aurora. He laughed and saw it was ready to attack him, "Really?" he chuckled. He then used Tri Attack on the floor just in front of her, just to stun her and make stop preparing an attack.

Shadow walked around, looking this way and that. But since the meteor had arrived, everything was awfully quiet. She couldn't hear the laughter of smaller Pokemon playing, nor could she hear their mothers' chiding. She sighed. She heard a few other creatures close by, and decided to investigate. She had nothin better to do.

Aurora shot off her Dragon Breath at the Hydreigon after being blown back by the Tri Attack. She blinked quickly to clear her sight. She glanced over at the Lucario and hoped that it would help.

Hunter easily dodged the Dragon Breath, "Hmp. If you want to hurt me, you might want to try harder." he chuckled, grinning.

"The same goes for you," Aurora snapped back. "There's nothing worse than dragons like you. You ruin our name. Most Pokemon think all dragons are savages because of you." Now she was just talking, stalling, whatever. Aurora had to admit, she was getting nervous. She hated have a type disadvantage, even if her moves were super effective as well. On the bright side, maybe the Lucario could get a hit in.

Hunter laughed, "What makes you say I'm bad? I guess you feel victim to the lies too sweetheart." he said, grinning, "I just came here to help two fellow Pokemon and here you are, insulting me and trying to attack me!"

Tusami looked up seeing an Umbreon walking around. She shook her white head and bounded out. The Leafeon glared at the Umbreon her eyes narrowed.

"Huh?" Merlynn gaped at the two dragons fighting, they were good at this, but at least the Dratini was on their side. "I'm going to help," Merlynn declared turning to Vella, "Vell, you seriously need to rest so stay here."

"Who said you could have all the fun?" She smirked, "You forget, I live to battle!" She stepped forward and cracked her knuckles, "Sooo, who's first?"

Merlynn stamped his foot, "Dang it Vell, that fever fried your brain! That one is trying to help us anyways!" He yelled pointing at the Dratini.

"Help us with what? It's not like the Hydreigon is going to try and eat us or anything." She sighed as an incredulous look spread over Merlynn's face. She narrowed her eyes and elaborated, "I have the type advantage here, I'm strong on top of that."

Merlynn sighed and readied a Water Gun, "Yeah but remember, you're still weak. I've got your back though, so you better be right."

Shadow rolled her eyes. "Yes? Have I eaten your children?" She asked sarcastically, trudging off. "Not looking for a battle, grump. Leave me be, would you?" She continued following the voices she heard, curious about what was going on.

Hunter grinned and laughed, "Well, if you guess want a battle... Guess I'll give you one!" he said, using Screech and rapidly using Dragon Pulse on Aurora before lifting up into the airs above Merlynn and Vella. He then shot a Charge Beam at the Marill.

Shadow glanced behind her at the curious Leafeon, sighing in defeat. "Tag along if you want, but I swear if you attack me it'll get ugly." She muttered, and turned back to continue walking.

"Look out!" Vella jumped in front of the charge beam and took the attack instead. Staggering backwards she leaped upwards and launched an Dragon Pulse at the Hydreigon before raising her fist to use Force Palm.

Merlynn narrowed his eyes and used Aqua Ring on himself before running over to the Dratini to see if she was hurt. Vell was being foolish as usual, he sighed and shook his head. All of his hard work just so she could get in a fight and ruin it.

Changes from the toxins: Due to contact, Sol's blue coloring is replaced by a deep purple, and a pair of bat-like wings have sprouted from her back.
Specific looks: She has a scar under her eye from a bad encounter with a trainer.
Brief story: Before the meteor, Sol loved to climb trees and scare passerby. Because of this, she got attacked by a trainer's pokemon. Now after the meteor, she realizes that the tamed pokemon was just protecting it's trainer.

Hunter groaned in pain as he was hit by the Dragon Pulse right in the chest. He then used Flamethrower on the Lucario and landed on the ground and used Double Team.

"I'm fine, or, at least I'll be fine in a bit," Aurora assured Merlynn. She shot a quick Dragon Pulse at the Hydreigon. Then, a purple-ish most surrounded her body as she used Dragon Dance.

Sol peered down at the peaceful area from her perch in a tree, the bat-like wings on her back shifting slightly as she crawled forward. Not realizing she had climbed too far forward, Sol fell through the air, landing in a pond below.

Brief story: He was a friendly little charmamnder who played with his older brother. That is until his brother lead them deep into the woods. After a little explotring they saw what appeared to be a small rock in hte distance. His brother ran up to it discovering hte meteor. Ember was sadened that he did'nt get near it at first but as his brother died he realized he did it to protect him.
Others: No. His brother died after hte meteor contact.

Shadow pretended not to notice the odd blue color of the Lefeon, not wanting to offend it. She kept walking forward, not speaking to the other Pokemon, out of her own awkwardness. She liked the younger Pokemon better. They were always kinder, more forgiving, and adorably blunt and honest. Their complete innocence never failed to warm Shadow's heart.

Shadow noted a crater maybe 100 feet away, and edged towards it carefully. Could it be the meteor that had been ailing the forest and its inhabitants? There was only one way to find out, so the Umreon continued to pace closer to the edge of the crater.

Vella knew she wasn't fast enough to dodge the Flamethrower so she threw her arms up and guarded her face from the blast. She gasped and grinned, "This guy's good!" She hopped forward and used Drain Punch, laughing like a kid as she did so.

Merlynn breathed a sigh of relief, "That's great," He shot an Icebeam towards the Hydreigon in an attempt to distract it. "I'll cover both of your backs!" He exclaimed as he noticed a splashing noise off in the distance. "What was that?"

Shadow had leaned over the edge, staring at the seemingly pulsating space rock lodged in the ground. Unfortunately, the Umbreon had leaned too far, and was sent tumbling down the crater, howling in fear and reaching for the Leafeon, too late to pull back up.

/No no no no no no NO!/ She thought desperately, clawing at the earth to no avail. Her back slammed into the meteor, and Shadow's head snapped back, hitting hard, knocking her unconscious.
