Thanks for asking @rosamund ,

I am cleaning our porch, and going to finish getting all the flowers planted for my mom!

I think I will surprise her in the morning with her own mother's favorite traditional cherry cake recipe, I hope she will wake up smelling the warm delicious cake! mmm!

We are going to also wish her mother a happy mother's day as well when we go and visit her at her resting place. My mom and grandmother where very close ❤️

@rosamund My siblings and I all chipped in to send my parents on vacation for their 20th weeding anniversary, so that's where they are right now. ^^ I'll be sure to give her a call tomorrow morning to wish her a happy mother's day regardless.

oh and it's going to be pretty depressing tomorrow/today cause my grandma passed away, but since she was buried in China and we're not in China anymore...yeah. and I was really close to her, so was my mom.

I brought my mom flowers and a cupcake tonight since I was working until late, and tomorrow morning I'm making pie and fruit salad to take over to my sister's house for mother's day brunch. It should be a lot of fun. 😊

@rosamund I was going to get her flowers, but when I went to a store earlier it was clean of flowers and just had one dead looking rose. I plan to go to Safeway tomorrow to cherish her in flowers and Starbucks (something from the secret menu possibly). Say, do people buy their Mother's Day flowers ON Mother's Day? Dear god, I should go really early. O. O
