There are clubs for many things on EggCave, but I have yet to see one dedicated to the many wonderful roleplayers on this site!

This club isn't entirely devoted to roleplaying itself, but more as a place for roleplayers to gather. ^^

This is a club where you can come in, chat, participate in activities and even bring in your characters. Whether you want to introduce a new one or just have fun. If you have never roleplayed before but would like to start, that's okay too!

Roleplay does not have to be limited to Egg Cave or online roleplaying.

1) Do not SPAM/make meaningless posts, which cannot be responded to.

2) Do not be rude to other roleplayers for their skills or literacy. Upon judging others you will be judged heavily as well. Keep that in mind. Do not critue other people's work unless asked to do so.

3) And of course, just follow all other EggCave rules!

How long you've been roleplaying: For 4 years now, only 2 on this site though.

Tell us about one of your characters: Samantha Danielle Amber Flain/ Samantha Amber Abernathy Flain; Is a sweet and compassionate girl at some points in time, but is also a rude type who likes to have things her way, she is a good friend and has fun with everyday things. She has a heart of pure coal and is a good lair who isnt one to back down. Most often, she is a nice person who can be trusted, just dont get on her bad side.
Favourite type of roleplay: Romance/Si-fi
A bit about yourself: I am a really fun person who has a good imagination and doesnt like school, I like to do things around my house and LOVE animals, I can be generous but I can be a tease at times.

How long you've been roleplaying: 12 years, mostly PnP, the last year I've taken up LARPing as well

Tell us about one of your characters: I've got two alive ones, for now, my Pathfinder (PnP) character and my NERO (LARP) character. The NERO one is more interesting, so I'll tell about her.
Adalon is a Desert Horned Lizard, which makes her part of the large and varied Scavenger race. She's terminally curious and gets very excited about new experiences. One of these days her habit of tasting/poking strange magical objects and eating weird things she finds in the woods is going to cause her to resurrect, which she is excited to try as she's never visited the resurrection circle before. She's a Formal Celestial scholar (mage) and is studying to be an Earth scholar as well. She travels mainly in the Empire of Cascara with a very diverse group of people she calls friends.
Favourite type of roleplay: Deadlands is my favorite system and setting, I've played it the longest and just love it.
A bit about yourself: Well, I'm me and that's about all you're going to get from me for now. 😋

I've never done any PnP, but I've done a bit of LARPing. How did you get started with LARPing if you don't mind me asking?

@april__ Well I had a friend who went all the time and had been doing it for years. I had always been interested in trying it, I'll try pretty much any game or system at least once, so I just asked if I could come with when he went. So I and a bunch of my other friends tagged along to the opening weekend for a new chapter. The whole weekend was awesomely fun and I became hooked. It helped that most everyone was really friendly and helpful, even though their characters where crazy high leveled and I was just a n00b. 😊

It is easy to get hooked. Sadly, I no longer have time for anything but work, school and more work. But, I do miss it. ❤️

How long you've been roleplaying: Almost 2 years
Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced? I'm actually not sure...
Tell us about one of your characters: I'll do my main RP character, Alex. (Sorry since its kind of long.)
Alex's full name is Alexandria Cassandra Hunter, though she prefers to be called Alex. She is almost 17 and is a very stubborn teen. She hates being told what to do, being her usual independent self. She is rather friendly and makes friends easily, though she can make enemies easily too. She is a troublemaker and proud of it. She has 4 siblings, a little brother, Jimmy, twin brother, Sirius, an older brother, Joseph, and her older sister, Christa. She isn't serious about pretty much anything except her music, she is extremely serious about that. She always wears sort of the same thing, a simple t-shirt with black jeans, combat boots, and a leather jacket. Her eyes are a bright forest green with hazel flecks, and messy black hair with crimson red streaks.
Favourite type of roleplay: I like pretty much any kind of RP, though I prefer fantasies and mysteries

I have one character I've been using faithfully since I was 13. I had some different ideas in mind for her but she developed a mind of her own.

How long have you been RolePlaying: since I joined EC

Tell about a character: Shira is one of my few human OCs. She has coppery brown, wavy, shoulder-length hair that flows over her favourite--and only--blue scarf, which she wears almost constantly. She has sky blue eyes that go well with her scarf, and as an orphan, she is not picky about what she wears. Her family was poor, and so she ended up going to the worst public school in the county. On her first day there, her parents died. As soon as they were gone, she became a victim. She was bullied by classmates and teachers alike, slashed with knives, forced to sit out at recess, and rejected by her orphanage. She was told that she was supposed to hurt herself, and did so. Covered in scars, she continues this habit, and she no longer trusts humans.
Favourite RP type: Fantasy, I suppose.
Tell a bit about self: My real first name is Genevieve, and I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am 12 years old, and I am an avid reader. My reading level is nearly that of a college student, although I greatly dislike most books of my level, being a fan of books such as the Warriors series and Harry Potter. Aside from reading, I enjoy drawing, animating, singing, listening to depressing music, playing EC, playing Pokemon... I am not much of an outdoorsy person, though I suppose I used to be. I cannot really be considered a social or solitary person, as I prefer to be alone most of the time, but can't seem to go outside without a friend or two. Oh, and I like pie. And waffles.

I know what you mean about reading. I've always been a very advanced reader. I can read 1,200 words a minute according to a few tests I've done. It's more annoying than it sounds.

Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood. ❤️

I just finished the series a couple of weeks ago, having started a few days prior to that, and I only read it because it was required reading for my new school, but I ended up liking it anyway.

Oh, cats, wolves, shapeshifters, demons, dragons, foxes, spirits, halfbreeds, SOME dogs... Yeah, I'm not particularly picky. My fursona, Umberisk, is a shapeshifter. Sorry for the late post, by the way, I was reviving my demon RP... Now time to see to my other one. XD

I've got a random question for you all. Mostly because I'm curious and it has gotten the better of me.

Is it common for people who do online roleplays to have one, or a couple, characters that they reuse for almost every roleplay and just change small details to fit the setting?

I mainly ask because I've seen it done pretty much all over the roleplay section here on EC and have never seen it done in multiple PnP groups from high school till now. So I'm just curious if this is something common to online roleplays.

What you like to be called: Ems, I guess. 😋 Or whatever sort of nicknames you can come up with.
How long you've been roleplaying: Um... Around 8 months? I don't keep track of things. XP
Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced: Um, beginner? :X I dunno how to judge. By experience or by how good you are?
Tell us about one of your characters: Hmm, well, my favorite is Storm. XD She's the first character I made (okay, the second, but the first public character I made). She's headstrong, and more times than often, very stupidly brave, though she has nearly no friends at all. Um, she's usually 16, but that changes time to time, and she has dark brown, curly hair and green eyes. (Not being too descriptive... Sorry. 😋) The few friends she does have - and the friends she makes during stories - she's very protective of.
Favourite type of roleplay: Hands down, anything fantasy. It's my favorite thing to read, and definitely my favorite to write. ^^ Science Fiction's a close second though.
A bit about yourself: Eh, not much really. I like reading a lot... Without books, I'd probably be some random hobo dancing for money. 😋 Writing is awesome for me too, just not when it's required, or when I don't like what I'm writing. Mainly non-fictional reports or expository pieces. No imagination at all... D: Just facts, facts, and more facts. Makes me sad. I'm happiest when I'm doing what I like, which is either doodling (which I'm constantly getting in trouble with teachers for), reading (again, constantly getting in trouble), writing for fun, playing softball, biking, or screwing off on EC. XD If I had to pick an occupation right now, I'd be an artist... But I'm still unsure. I want to be an author too, but both jobs require that people actually like your work... And it's hard to appeal to everyone, especially in art. I love drawing but a little part of me thinks I'm not good enough. 😋 Anyways, I also like singing... But I'm not too great at that. I'm ok... But it's more of like a hobby than something I want as an occupation, I guess. Hands down, I LOVE music. Like books, if it didn't exist... You can see where that's going. So... Yeah. That's a wall of text. Happy birthday.

How long you've been roleplaying: How long ago was my old account now my cousins account @cynder5 created?

Tell us about one of your characters: Tusami is one of my favoriates. She is the first one that I created that I stuck with. She varies from roleplay to Roleplay being blind or having site. She is normally bipolar has blonde hair ice-blue eyes is very tall skinny and caucasion very caucasion. Normally 18 but varies depending on what age I feel like her being. I also amke her as a cat with the same looks as Feathepelt depending on what RP I use her in. Her and Featherpelt are the same thing just differnet name to fit different Roleplays. A light brown she-cat with ice-blue eyes black stripes and dark brown splotches. (Based off of my kitty htat I love ❤️ Sammy)
Favourite type of roleplay: Warrior cats, Werewolves, Power Rp's, Science Fiction, Fiction, Shape-shifting, basically fantasy and that has to deal with animals.
A bit about yourself: I love reading, writing, playing with my cats. If I had to take a job it's be as an animal control worker (The one that takes animals away) I enjoy being in band mostly playing percussion.
