RULES:

- This is literate. Please have not chatspeak. I will kick you out.

- Posts must be at least three sentences long.

- Discussion will be done in the discussion topic, please have no random chat here. Forms will be posted and accepted there as well. If your form is not literate, I will assume that you are not literate and I will not accept.

- You are free to have a human character, as well as control your own dragon. However, if you want to just be a dragon or human, it's up to you to find a partner.

- Characters must be at least 16.

- If you read all he rules, put "dragons" in he other section. I will know if you didn't, however, because you won't be following the rules. (;

My dragon form. XD (Didn't have enough room)

Age: Young Adult (about 34 in human years)

Element: Air
Appearance: Her scales are jet black, but in certain lights will reflect at least a dozen bright colors. She doesn't have any horns, and her ears are furry, the soft fur almost like silk. Her eyes are large and are a vivid green with a couple golden flecks. Her wings stretch out at about 6 feet each, creating a large total wingspan of 12 feet. At the shoulder, she stands at somewhere around 6' 6", so she's fairly short. Her tail is somewhere around 8 feet long, and at the end is a small puff of silken fur, similar to her ears. Her form is quite aerodynamic, and she is built lithely.
Personality: Gentle and loving, but very sarcastic and witty as well. Shadow loves a good joke, and is also very playful with the young dragons, treating most young one like her own.
History: She grew up learning how to fight but furiously fought against it, eventually winning out and choosing to study hunting instead. She knows how to fight, but refuses to use her ability unless in an emergency. She had strict but kind parents and seven siblings, yet he doesn't know where any of them went after she left the nest; not even her parents. She lost contact with her family and has been living alone for a long time.

Location: Portland OR
Weapon of choice: A long, silver sword with intricate and beautiful runes carved into the blade, though Storm cannot read them.
Personality: Storm does what she wants, when she wants to do it. She's very hard-headed and stubborn, and hates it when people try to control her. She is kind at heart, but can be very rude at times and has a awful temper. Storm will also heed the call of adventure any day, and is never careful with consequences, simply going on a crash course through life.
History: Storm lived with her parents until they died in a car crash when she was 15, though this didn't affect her too badly. She now has a full time job and juggles it with high school, while living in an apartment alone. She doesn't mind the solidarity of her situation at all, what bothers her is that she has almost no friends.
Appearance: Short, tan, spunky-looking girl with freckles all over her face, trailing from each cheekbone to the other, crossing the bridge of her nose. Long, chocolate brown curly hair that cascades down to the middle of her back in big ringlets and bangs that sweep across the right side of her forehead. She has deep green eyes that seem to stare into your soul. She wears a plain black tee shirt and dark wash skinny jeans. She is a bit on the scrawny side though it's just her build.

Weapon of choice: He has a pitch black sword that he wears on his hip in its sheath. The hilt is beautifully crafted with a green emerald on the pommel.
Personality: Sirius has a very bright personality and he is very friendly. He can make friends with just about anyone and has a way with words, often able to convince people into things easily. He is very patient, even with people that could easily send others over the edge. He isn't shy at all and he believes there is kindness in everyone. He, however, can be pushed around easily, not wanting to upset anyone. Don't think of him as weak though because if he really believes in something he will stop at nothing to achieve it. He thinks logically about everything and can over analyze most often.
History: Sirius grew up in a rich family with an older sister, and older brother, a twin sister, and a younger brother. He was mostly interested in music and that's where he focused most of his attention. When he learned from the fairy about all that was going on, he didn't believe it at first, thinking it was a joke. However, when he met his dragon he finally began to believe everything that was going on.
Appearance: Sirius has shaggy black hair that is always out of place and messy. He has chocolate brown eyes and palish skin. He usually wears black jeans, a black t-shirt, Vans, and a black hoodie. He is kind of tall, standing at almost 6 feet and he is very clumsy because of it. He has a scar on his left arm that sometimes pains him. He got it when he slipped and his arm was cut on a sharp edge of a glass table.

Appearance: She has a rather small body as she is still young. She is the darkest shade of black with forest green spikes down her back and and forest green horns. Personality: Bellum is Sirius' exact opposite. She is very moody and doesn't like most people, though she tolerates some of them. She doesn't trust practically anyone and often stays off to the side, never speaking, only listening. She is often found lost lost in her own thoughts and doesn't like be shaken from them. She is always on guard and loses patiently very easily.
History: Bellum was raised by her family for a while but she left the nest at an early age. She studied and learned fighting as much as she could, putting everything she had into learning to be a great fighter. She stayed away from everyone while training and has ever since not been much of a fan of company.

Personality: He plays a leadership role, since most of the people around him are quite young. He has a lot of wisdom for his age and enjoys teaching skills to newcomers. It takes him awhile to warm up to people, having a bit of low trust issues, but once he has, he’s quite the talker.
History: He lived a pretty quiet life in a suburban home his family had brought. At an early age, he dropped out of high school and went to live on his own somewhere in the city due to...family issues... He worked at the nearby hospital as an EMT, learning from the hands on experience of the job rather than surviving on a degree.
Appearance: He’s fairly tall and slightly muscular in his upper body. His skin is dusted with a slight tan and smooth/free of impurities since he had fully matured. He has rich dark brown hair (almost black) that’s cut short and spiked upwards in the front and dull green eyes.
Other: Why do I have a habit of making characters who know everything, when I know nothing? XD Dragons...

Weapon of choice: Two-handed Long Sword. Its blade shines with a brilliant white light when exposed to the light of a full moon.

Personality: Naturally quiet, she rarely speaks to others unless it's absolutely necessary. She never smiles, or laughs unless she's around her dragon, Kire. She has very few friends, her best friend being Kire (eventually). She has a high tolerance to pain and her emotions are very hard to read. She will do anything for her closest friends, she fights for them, and only them. She would give her life to keep them safe. She doesn't take nonsense from anyone, and likes to keep her thoughts and feelings to herself. She often comes off as cold and grumpy at times but it's only because she trusts very few people and is rather slow to take a liking to anyone. It takes a lot to make her mad but she has an evil temper if you push her far enough.

History: Leigha had dreams of dragons since she was little, but one dream followed her into adulthood, the one where she was running towards a white dragon bathed in light. She never fit in in school so she had very few friends and her home life wasn't much better. She moved out at 18 and now works two jobs to support herself and her apprenticeship at the local tattoo parlor.

Appearance: Pale white skin with light freckling across the nose. Her left shoulder is tattooed with the likeness of a dragons wing, a paw print sits on her right shoulder. Her eyes are silver blue, her black-brown hair is always pulled into a thick, long braid. No makeup and likes to go shoeless.

@ems I have a few questions too, 1) Are the rules for powers the same as the old RP? 2) Do we have to be 'blessed' by a faerie in order to obtain them still? 3)Will Fae, Wanderers, Searchers or Hunters become playable?

Appearance: Completely white, he has two sets of horns adorning his head, one golden bone pair and the other covered in scales. Each of his finger tips (including wing tips) end in golden claws. His eyes are as blue as a deep ocean, and a golden line of well spaced spikes lead down to his spade shaped tail tip. Down his cheeks three scale covered spikes lead down to his chin.

Personality: Kire is always cheery and willing to talk, he's friendly first then he knows if he likes a person or not. He picks his friends wisely and sticks to them. He's eager to help friends in need and somehow always knows what to do to help cheer Leigha up. His favorite food is chocolate. He is the exact opposite of Leigha and is almost always smiling and cheerful. He is good natured, so good natured that even though he is a huge scaly dragon he doesn't look scary or intimidating in the least... unless you give him reason to be of course. He protects those he values with skill and self control and only fights something till the point that he feels it is no longer a threat.

History: Hatched in a cave by a waterfall, he was the smallest of all of his siblings. He was separated from his family right after breathing his first flame, he quickly became friends with the various animals that lived in the surrounding forests. He was especially close to a pack of wolves. His friends helped him to grow and survive, so he was never really alone. He has a gift for using magic and can speak several languages.

@whitefire You can fight on the other side, but all dragons should have a partner in order to fight, since that's kind of the point. 😋 If you only want to play a dragon, you can find someone willing to play the human partner. ;3

1 & 2 - Thank you so much for asking. XD I completely forgot about that. No, a fairy does not have to bless you. I will edit that in, but dragons and riders will develop their powers as their bond grows stronger. ^^

3. I'm considering that, but we aren't making any just yet. (; If they do become playable, they wouldn't be too major anyways. But it's a possibility.

Element: Electricity
Appearance: A large, black serpent-like dragon which emits a white/blueish electricity glow around it. He is about 40 - 50 feet long from head to toe, with tuffs of rough fur along his jaw, head, back, and the tip of the tail. His large four feet are placed fairly far apart from each other and between them there is two large black wings. The wings are torn in some places, which causes some to wonder how he is able to fly. His skin is covered in rough black scales that, when shined in light, emit a blue-green shine.
Personality: A very wise dragon, much like Nathan. He is stuck in his ways, apprehensive to try new ideas and likes to believe his way is the “right wayâ€. He can be cold and vicious at times, which causes many fights to happen between him and his rider, but in all they are a good team when focused.
History: They say he is the offspring of a fire and ice dragon, causing both elements to create a friction known as electricity. He grew up alongside his father, the fire dragon, learning about strict rules and how to defend himself. Now, Alcatraz is a furious dragon who owns part of the northern lands as his territory. He makes sure to keep any rival dragons away from his den, feeding on any prey that happened to wander in at the wrong place and at the wrong time.
