Seeing as how today marks the 25th Anniversary of Nintendo's sci-fi series, I thought it would be appropriate to make a thread discussing it.

I'd say it's my favorite Nintendo series without a doubt. Here's to hoping that something for it is released to the 3DS (besides porting over previous games, which is still great). A new sidescroller would be neat.

Although, I'll have to admit, the only Metroid game I've ever owned was that free demo that came with the first DS. 😋

Is Metroid the game with Samus in it? I play as Samus sometimes on Super Smash Brothers Brawl. XD

It's an action adventure game that is known for its nonlinear game play and exploration. I'd recommend checking out Super Metroid or the Prime games to anyone interested. 😋

Just thought I'd make a thread to celebrate it, haha.
