I've heard of swle.yarolds and glitter graphics, but do any others where I could post and many people could view my egg/creature?

But, along with Yarold's & EggCavern, there is Hydra ( http://idarionis.com/hydra/ )

As to places you can just post BB codes, a few users have made websites for that.
