You wake up surrounded by the star-sprinkled blackness of empty space, if waking up is even the right term. Aside from your name, you can't remember anything from before you came here. Maybe you have amnesia, or maybe there's nothing to remember.
You don't seem to have a physical form, which, disconcerting as it is, doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. You would seem to have a voice, though, as you can hear others using theirs; maybe it's mental, since you can hear them but don't have ears. Since you can't see anything but stars, you can assume that they're in the same situation as you.
Hoping to know more someday, you dare to say hello...

In this roleplay, our characters will become the gods and goddesses of a certain yellow-star solar system containing nine planets, one in particular. If you were in Godhood, it would be that kind of gods, although they're formless right now. If you weren't in Godhood and need an explanation:

You're a god. (Or goddess, of course.)
You are god of something: It could be anything from volcanoes or lakes to knowledge or war.
You will be allowed to be any real species at all.
As of right now, you're immortal in every sense of the word, but later on:
You can be killed, but then you are immediately reborn into the first living thing born after you "die". You keep all your memories.
~ Note: Unless you become a plant or something (which would suck ), you have an equal chance of being male or female. You won't be a girl every single time, for example.
No magic (aside from the god stuff), no fantasy creatures.
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO KILL ANOTHER CHARACTER, as it won't be permanent. However, I would suggest asking first.

(Most of these things will only apply much later on, but I want to make sure all of that gets up here.)

You can have up to three characters to begin with; I may increase that later. Please read the rest of the rules first, though. There's a limit of one god per thing and one thing per god. If I think what you want to be god of is too overpowered, I'll let you know. I'll allow a lot, but not everything; if you wanted to be the god of nature, well, when you think about it that really includes almost everything.

...I always end up using big words and long, fancy sentences whenever I make a first post. (Thankfully not when I'm actually RPing, though.) I really don't know why.

Personality: He's clever and lacks remorse. Fang does not see others around him as people, but only as targets and opportunities. Instead of friends, he only has victims and accomplices who end up as victims. He will let nothing and no one stand in his way once he has a set task. When he shows what seems to be warmth, joy, love or compassion it is more feigned than experienced and serves an ulterior motive.
Will be the God of: Death
Appearance: He has dark harid that reaches right below his ears. Long bangs hang down and cover his left eye and a small portion of his right. He has pale skin and is a little taller than average for his age. His eyes are a blood red shade, and he normally wears dark clothing that consists of a belt and a black leather jacket. His canine teeth are sharp and pointed in a vampiric way.
Other: Has a secret obsession over cats, and finds blood more as a tasty drink than a liquid that drips from a wound. He also likes capes. Flashy black capes.

There is no gender and no appearance as of right now. We can use gender pronouns if we want, of course, but right now we don't have physical forms - which you would know if you actually *read* the first post. For several reasons, I feel like you just skipped over everything except the form.

Once there starts to be life, the gods get to have physical bodies. As there is, in fact, evolution despite the existence of gods, there will definitely be a point where everyone is an amoeba. That'll be fun. 😋

@purrclan I actually read everything you posted. There's no reason for you to assume for the worst just because I like having more filled out forms. I was just giving you my opinion. I mean, even though they can die and become born as another gender, they still need one to begin with don't they? Or do we need to roleplay with "it" instead of "he" or "she"?

First, we don't begin with genders. We can use gender pronouns instead of 'it', but even when life comes around there'll still be a while when we're amoebas or something similar. We won't actually have genders for a while. Also, you can't really have a set appearance because of the reincarnation issue thing.
Also, I knew you didn't read it all because at the time you posted your form there was a keyword that was nowhere to be found.

Both are accepted; I don't think the cat thing's too much of a problem, so don't worry about it.
Also, I'm not sure you understand exactly. For one thing, most of the time we would be animals (it's a looooong time until humans evolve) and animals generally don't have pets. For another, just because you have one appearance doesn't mean you have that forever. You have at most your natural lifespan, less if you get sick/eaten/killed/et cetera. That stuff happens, and our bodies aren't immortal even if we ourselves are.

@purrclan The keyword was to write something you could reincarnate into or something or other wasn't it? Sometimes I get to caught up in writing my form that I forgot to write down passwords like that. You can ask a few of the veteran role players I know.

Hmm, may I suggest that we might use 'they' instead of 'it'? I've done quite a bit of gender neutral writing, and I find that works best for me~ Alternatively, there is the 'xe' form, which is used with xe= he, she or they, xir= his, her or their, xem= him, her or them. But we probably don't need to go that far :'D

You only really need to edit out the appearance stuff, right?
Gender can still be called really, as even if you have a female or gender neutral body, you may still have a male spirit... (Transgender, if you're interested, Wikipedia is very interesting on it (; ) So that should be fine? I think~

We don't have to use it, or xe; I was planning on just using 'she' (my charries are girls) until they actually had genders. 😋
Also, really, the 'spirit' us's are gender-neutral - we only have a gender if our body (if we have one) does. But it doesn't really matter since we can use gendered pronouns anyway 😋
