Multiple threads for similar topics?

Well, I guess I was just wondering if it was against the rules to create multiple threads for topics that are almost the same, but not quite. What I mean is, I wanted to create an Pokemon Action Replay codelist (I guess that's what you'd call it) thread, but I wanted to create a separate thread for each game/set of games, so that people weren't getting the codes for the different games mixed up. I wouldn't want anybody to have their games deleted because they entered a code for Platinum into their SoulSilver game, so I wanted to make separate threads for Platinum, Diamond/Pearl, HeartGold/SoulSilver, Black/White, and Black 2/White 2 in order to avoid that. However, I didn't want to do something that was against the rules, so I posted this to make sure.

So... answers?

@whitefire Almost identical topics (duplicates) are not allowed. Having separate topics for each of those games would be unnecessary. You can always have a different post for the codes for each game in the same topic.
