I only draw by hand, using the computer can make it look really realistic. The next time I have an idea I'll add more detail. But you should add that it might be a Mo's cousin 😋 Did you like any of my drawings?

I only draw with my hands, I tried a few times drawing with
my feet and mouth, but it didn't turn out so well. XD

There are many artists who only draw traditionally
and are able to create much more realistic pieces
then I could ever be able to. 😊
So saying that digital creates better or more realistic
paintings and drawings needs to be looked into a little deeper.
There are many variables, such as the design, the person, the mediums being used, style, and much more.

Yes I do like your pieces. I love the designs and ideas you created and truly believe they have a great chance of being implemented into this site.

First off, @piucca, thanks for your contribution.

Just wanted to pop in about the art.

I've mentioned this on another topic, but Egg Cave has been experiencing high turnover with artists this past year. This hasn't been due to a lack of planning, but because of a difficulty in regulating people's schedules with Egg Cave's monthly quotas. Our artists are not volunteers; they are paid and are commissioned by Egg Cave for real-life work. Remember that our artists are real people, with opinions, and personal artistic styles; be careful how you criticize them.

Thank you for your comment. I am aware that there has been some issues with the artist here, hence wanting to help out.
As far as my comments, they were as nicely put as I could with out sugar coating it. I might be blunt and honest, but feel strongly about this site. Anything as a normal user can do to help, we are always here to back EC up. Even though it may not always feel that way.

I think we all need to stop being so hard on the artist. I personally think the art's fine. It's really the choice of creatures being made that's unfortunate...
We had 3 bugs in a row.. >.<

If I do not like something and it bothers me to the point where I no longer want to spend time or money on it, I am going to say something. If not for the benefit of my self, at lest for the site.

I personally like bugs, quite a bit really. I'll stick to the real ones for now.

As I had mentioned in the artist's thread, if I didn't care about the site or her, I wouldn't have bothered saying anything.

And I get that you're just voicing ur opinion but Iunno, saying it's 'awful' seems a bit extreme :/ There's a learning curve with everything right? Give it more time 😊

Maybe. I guess putting it too simply seems harsh.
I could change it to a more detailed explanation,
but I have tried that and the artist had gotten upset over it.
Darned if you do and darned if you don't.
Plus, changing now will make no difference,
what was said has been said.

Your artwork is very beautiful, I especially like the first stage after the egg, looks very fluffy and cuddly.

However, if you don't mind me saying, your first post could possibly be taken as quite insulting if the artist of the cave monthlies saw it. I mean it's cool to have your opinion and all, but I would maybe make it seem less mean. I mean I'm not trying to be rude or anything by any means..but look at it this way,

wouldn't your feelings be a bit hurt if people came on this topic and started insulting your work?

I dunno that's just the way I think about it, just some food for thought I guess. 😋

Really, really trying to not be mean in any way, so I hope you don't take it that way.


Anyways, like I said your art is gorgeous and the creature is very creative~ I wish you luck with your design~

p.s. I happened to see a glimpse of the site you are making (I swear I'm not a stalker) but It's looking very nice, the creatures are pretty cool ^^

I use the free version of weebly myself though xD, but maybe you have to actually pay for the site to get it to work? /shrug/ Like I said I know nothing about it, but I would like to see it be a site someday. Looks like you put a lot of effort into it~

No problem. Many times people place a set tone to
what others type, which may not be the original tone
of the writer. I always read what people say in a mono
tone in my head, unless prompted with smilies or caps lock

I am only using it as a template. Once the server is
back and running I will be hosting it my self, so as
to cut down costs.
