So, I just dont get "names for auction" or "names for sale" so you are just selling a name....?

Yes, they have the name on a critters and then ya pay EC/critter/whatever and ya get the name and can keep it on th ecritter it came on or you can put it on a different creature by the town hall c:

You get the critter the name was on but it is usually a common egg. If it's on an LE or CC critter then they'd probably want more or would change the name and put it on a common x3
