I found a strange problem with the Adoption Center, and it's from some time I can see it: the creatures abandoned and ready to be adopted have broken images, and I can't see them. This problem it's quite annoying because If I want to adopt them, I don't know what I'm exactly adopting. :/Here's a screen of the problem:http://i.imgur.com/wytIrVL.pngDid anyone else have the same problem or it's only a problem of me?

@wererage There aren't any creatures in the AC anymore so I don't know if I have a problem with that. But are there any broken images for you anywhere else?Have you tried clearing your cache, hard refreshing (CTRL+F5) or switching browsers? Have you got the latest browser version? Do you have AdBlock or some other blocking add-on/plugin? (They can sometimes block the wrong images.)

@karamelSorry for the late reply, I just noticed your answe. D:I tried refreshing, but it doesn't work. And I use google chrome (it's a good browser, it never given me any problems). And yup, I also use AdBlock, but i had this problem before using it (I added AdBlock to my browser very recently).

@wererage Hard refreshing (CTRL+F5)? Hard refreshing is different to normal refreshing/reloading (CTRL+R or F5) because it refreshes /everything/ on the page, whereas just refreshing or reloading just reloads the page instead of its contents.Have you tried clearing your cache? If it happens again, does right clicking the image -> 'Open image in new tab' display the image? Have you tried switching browser?

@karamel Nope I didn't tried it, the next time it happen I'll surely will, thank you very much. โค๏ธAlso, I forgot to mention it don't happens all the times (sometimes I can see the creatures, sometimes not) so maybe it's just a browser problem, like you said. It happened also on firefox, by the way ... I'll just try both hard refreshing and cleaning cache the next time, and let's see what happens. ๐Thank you very much!

I up the topic because also with hard refresh of by cleaning cache the problem isn't solved. D:Now, again, there are two creatures in the Adoption Center and I can see only their statistics, but not the image, so I don't know what I would adopt ... and it's quite annoying. D:I'll ping a mod (sorry for bothering!):@orderedchaos

@ragewere @wererage Have you tried any of my other solutions? If you right click the broken image and select 'Open image in new tab' or 'View image' (depending on your browser--Chrome and Firefox respectively), does it display the image then? What browsers have you tried?

@karamel I alredy tried that, and didn't worked, sorry. โน๏ธIn the new tab it appears as a broken image. I also tried to switch broswer (firefox), but it's the same. รง_รง

@wererage Hmmm... Not sure about what else it could be. Might have to get a mod to look at this one? I assume it's just the AC creature images that don't work--everything else does?@Orderedchaos @zAc @Meteoroid

@karamel Yup, everything else works just fine. ๐It's an error that doesn't occur always ... some creatures in the AC are visible for me, other not. So I don't think It can be a problem of my computer or browser ... I dunno If other users had the same problems too, though. owo

This happened to me some time ago. I couldn't see what I was adopting, and it really annoyed me. >_<Glad to know it wasn't just my slow internet connection...

@sparklefox Ah, thank you very much for commenting! I'm glad too to see I'm not the only one. I mean, I'm not glad of it, just glad it's not depending of me. xDHope it will be fixed soon! ๐

Since the problem's still on, pinging again (sorry!).@Ian@Orderedchaos@Meteoroid@zAc

@wererage @karamel @ragewere @sparklefox Thanks for reporting this. This sounds fishy. I've tested and put a couple of creatures in the AC myself, all with successfully linked images. Nothing broken. I haven't been able to duplicate this error. When this bug happens again (when they are all broken images), do me a favor: right-click on the broken image and copy the image URL. It should be something to the affect of:http://eggcave.com/images/adoption/##CREATUREID##.pngPing me back with these URLs. Also ping back when it's happening live, so I can hopefully catch a glimpse of it /actually/ happening. ๐ Thanks much.

EDIT: Another one today Jan 17, 5:41:57 am ECThttp://eggcave.com/images/adoption/1181126.png

@wererage @dafni @ragewere I've created an "Adoption Center Diagnostic" tool, where you can submit a report to the developers whenever you see a broken image. If you encounter an Adoption Center page with broken creatures, please click the "Send Diagnostic Report" link at the bottom of the page. This will send us more data and help us isolate it.Thanks! I look forward to receiving the reports to see what's amiss in the system.
