About Tortuga

Once a year Tortuga return to the same beach they were born at to lay their eggs. They then leave the beach and travel the world along the currents of the seas. They have very long lifespans and never stop growing. Some Tortuga have grown to a massive size and are known as the famous moving islands. It is considered a special and lucky thing to see a Tortuga Island in your life.

If you raise or befriend a Tortuga they are extremely loyal and can share with you stories of the world beyond Arc's shores.


The Legend of Tortuga

It is said that there is a mysterious Tortuga that has traveled the seas of Arc since the beginning of civilization. It has grown to a truly massive size and a Utopian City thrives on it's shell. After the fall of a great civilization the Tortuga will appear and offer refuge for the great thinkers of the time. They will then bring their art and knowledge and join the great city on the Tortuga's back.

Evolution

Egg (100 feeds) -> Stage 1 (500 feeds) -> stage 2 (displayed as ??????? but 10,000 views) -> Stage 3

Released: Creature Release Week, Earth Day, CC creature, Special Traveling Island event once a year.

Thanks, it would be a good CC creature and I was just making up a Traveling Island event after that one Island was clickable in the Halloween Fair event.

Oh yeah! I saw it in one the the aladin movies when I was little. Tortuga is the spanish word for turtle right? Pretty sure it is. 😊

@leafpoolz Technically, it translates to tortoise... but close enough! (Turtle would be more specifically defined as tortuga marina or something like that)

@ilovedoctor Thank you! yeah I actually chose the name Tortuga because it's the name of a carabean 17th-century pirate hideout Island. 😊 WIsh it meant sea turtle.

@bot Tortuga is spanish for Tortoise. But I chose it because it is the name of a famous pirate hide out island in the Caribbean but I will think about maybe a different name..
