I have an idea where there could be an eggcave app.I understand why some people would not want eggcave to have a free app but..It would be cool for my phone or ipod to vibrate whenever I get a notification since if someone responds in my roleplays, or if one of my critters is dieing, or something like that, then I like to see it RIGHT away.

@froggytailsIF it wasn't free that could create some revenue for eggcave and help with projects and stuffs, meaning it could work like cavecash and we could help support the site by buying the app, I wouldn't mind buying an eggcave app.

@mightyeglantineYeah, that would be nice. But some people can't buy apps..

@froggytailsI like the ideaYes, not everyone would be able to get the app but if it was also added to the Google Chrome store then it would me more available (not sure if any of the other browsers have a store)But then I'm too cheap to buy it if we have to pay for it

@froggytailsActually, the flight happened a month ago... but still not fun. x3

@mastergemma ~ yesss a google chrome extension would be sooo helpful!! @froggytails ~ i was actually thinking about something like this the other day! even if it wasnt free im sure a lot of people would get it... maybe there could be a free version with advertisements and one without only costing maybe a dollar or 2?

@froggytails This was suggested before by numerous amount of members. I love the idea, but we shall just wait and see. I can see a application in the future. đ

@Naturegirl1999Browsers require Wi-Fi, so if they make this app you can use EggCave on a plane whree there's no Wi-Fi. Correct @Froggytails ?
karamel • 9 November 2013 at 6:15 AM
@rushingwater The only way you can receive notifications/any data *at all* from Egg Cave (or any other online site, for that matter) is using an Internet connection. There's absolutely /no way/ you can connect to a website or receive data from it unless you have Internet connection. For example, even if you have the Mail app on your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad/iWhatever, it won't update until you have internet access. However, if you're using a smartphone (which has its own Wi-Fi connection) and it has the Egg Cave app, you could use your mobile's Wi-Fi connection. The plane is very unlikely to provide Wi-Fi connection although technology is evolving and there are a few planes that do. (http://www.iphoneforums.net/forum/iphone-general-discussion-12/access-internet-airplane-flight-19371/#post97329)Anyway, ignoring all the airplane faff, I believe Ian is planning to create a mobile Egg Cave site. It would be great if he made an app (that could potentially produce revenue--it doesn't have to be that high), though, so I support. c:

@froggytails I like that idea because I don't have my own computer so I'm always using my phone... So it is nice idea!! đ¸
froggytails • 9 November 2013 at 1:57 PM
@rushingwaterNo, I'm afraid that you would need wifi to connect to the app since this is a website.@naturegirl1999Yeah, but that doesn't make your phone vibrate whenever you get a notification on eggcave.

@froggytails I think that is an awesome idea!!! đ
fallenangel1550 • 10 November 2013 at 5:40 PM
@froggytails I really like this idea. I wouldn't mind paying a small amount for the app. But having notifications on my phone would be amazing!
shefie19 • 14 November 2015 at 8:29 PM
The app would be nice for uploading pictures of creature suggestions... and just so you don't need to be by a computer.XOXOXShefie19

@froggytails Ooh i really like this idea, it would be so efficient and helpful, and i wouldn't mind paying a small price for the app^^
ladysaphire • 4 December 2015 at 5:59 AM
@froggytails Really great idea, I'm not if I'd have a way to buy it, but even so xD
queens • 5 December 2015 at 2:43 PM
I like the idea of there being a egg cave app, but it really wouldn't make sense to put a price on it. Egg cave is already free to play and works (mostly) fine on my mobile just playing online normally. There doesn't seem to be any point for it but to donate money, and some people can't do that.If you really want to donate to egg cave then just buy some CC.. :/
