As Dark limped around the forest, he heard distant chatting. 'So, there are finally other creatures in the forest,' he smiled to himself, 'where there are creatures, there comes tricks.'He then ran as fast as he could, but he felt a stinging pain every once in a while while he ran. Dark then glanced up at a mountain. 'A mountain? Is this where all the chatting is truely coming from?' Dark blinked. Not sure what to do, Dark climbed up the mountain. Xyrii lay in her hollow, curling herself up. She yawned and watched the sun set down and the stars emerge from the darkness. A cool breeze blew through the forest and she shivered. Xyrii then felt her eyes grow heavy, and she drifted of into a peaceful slumber.~@SparkleFox@Xoxo5959@Epicthings451@SpiritKoi

Daze used her super-speed and dashed zig-zag among the trees. She spun around a flew time to confuse who ever can see her through the leaf thick trees.@epicthings451 @spiritkoi @starling

Kattari melted into the shadows and continued to walk silently on the ground. As the leaf covered ground became quite annoying since there where more leaves on this side of the forest and those leaves made a loud crunching noise. So, to get rid of the crunching noise, Kattari flapped her wings, but just slightly so that she hovered just inches above the ground. Radius entered his den at the top of the mountain and walked to the far back of his den.@xoxo5959 @starling @spiritkoi @sparklefox

Daze continued to charge but she couldn't smell humans anymore. Daze paused and sniffed the air. Nothing. She dashed towards Kattari and finally found her. "I can't smell any humans. They probably did leave the forest." Daze exclaim to Kattari.Atlas walked to the back of his den. He walked along the cold stone floor and curled himself at he back. His eyes felt heavy and fell asleep@epicthings451 @starling @spiritkoi @sparklefox

Kattari sniffed the air when Daze told her that the humans probably did leave the forest. She smelled nothing and did not hear anything. "I guess Lyna was right, they did leave the forest" Kattari said with a little sadness in her voice. She flew back up into the sky and said to Daze "I'm going to go back to my den." She flew all the way back to the edge of the forest closest to the mountain where her den was and flew to the ground. As she checked her surroundings, she could've sworn she saw a black figure moving up the mountain (Dark). 'Its probably just a turkey or something' Kattari thought. 'But then again, I could always kill it and add it to my storage' she thought, hesitating weather or not to go and stalk that moving figure.Radius settled down on a soft pile of leaves in the back of his den. He shut his eyes but did not fall asleep.@xoxo5959 @starling @sparklefox @spiritkoi we shall not kill the humans XD

The fox could suddenly smell something, a very familiar scent. "That's... the scent of... my own species!" She could smell nine-tailed foxes! But, where were they? She asked herself that. Her curiousity overwhelmed her tiredness as soon as she caught the scent. "Finally, nine-tailed foxes... Wait, didn't they all get killed? Are some of the humans trying to deceive me, so they can finally kill me? I thought they all left! So, maybe that isn't the truth." Her tails wag in excitement at the thought of more of her species, living in this very forest. She felt ver cautious, though. She watched all around her, just incase this was a trick.

@sparklefox That is a lot of notifications @epicthings451 @xoxo5959 @starling Lyna soon saw the wolves losing interest in their hunt for humans so she began to turn back to Sparklefox's location. The sky was pitch black and Lyna stood out, faintly shimmering with lavender light. She soon reached Sparklefox's locationa nd found her acting very cautious. Hmmm... Maybe she has found out about the other fox. Lyna landed next to Sparklefox.

She tried to hide a smile, and her tails continued to wag. "But, I thought they all died! Then, how?" She thought out loud, without realising. She turned her head to the rest of the clearing, and started to stare into space. "....How...." (They all died, and I witnessed it. But, does this mean there are more? How, though? How is this possible?! "Is... this..." (Is this... a trick by the humans? Are they still trying to kill me?!) She growled at her thoughts. After a while, she slashed the air.

"I didn't smell the fox, I can only smell really strong scents, but I did see the fox." Lyna looked towards the direction of where she saw the fox. "I think this fox visits Julia...."

She couldn't believe that it may have been actually true. "W-Where did you see this fox? I really want to know." Her eyes could show her excitement, but her body said she was acting cautious. "Are they still in the forest, or with Julia?"

"I saw the fox to the east, in a different forest." Lyna studied Sparklefox. Maybe this information isn't good for her. Getting your hopes up isn't always good. Lyna remembered when she thought there was another phoenix still alive.

And do they have a--" She stopped herself before she could say sword. She didn't want anyone to know. Sparklefox looked around her, and tried to imagine the fox again. "Different... forest? ....Where?" She wanted to stop asking questions, but she couldn't. She was getting too curious to stop. She wanted to see this 'fox' in person, so she would know whether it was a trick or not. It didn't seem right; another ninetails, like her. She thought she was the only one left here. "...."

Dark continued to follow the scent of the wolves, and then he stopped in his spot when he peered over and spotted a fox and a phoenix. The fox was different however, it had black wings, almost the color of the pale midnight sky and she had nine tails. It appeared that they were trying to look for more of the fox's species. 'A nine tailed fox they are looking for? Well, I can do that,' Dark smirked. He then closed his eyes, and tried his best to make another nine-tailed fox. Then he opened his eyes and a silvery illusion of a nine-tailed fox appeared in front of him. 'Perfect,' Dark whispered to himself.The illusion then hopped around Sparklefox with a wide happy mouth. I won't be fooled by this stupid excuse for an illusion!" So many humans have tried to trick her by illusions, that she could now tell the difference between real and fake. She started to breathe fire, then slashed the illusion until it disappeared. "Whoever made that could of tried a little harder. That was just pathetic..." She sniffed the air, and could smell the scent of a wolf. (More wolves... Why?) She turned to the direction of the scent, and saw some dark bushes. "..." (Seriously?)Mwahaha... >=3

But Sparklefox and I are more than a hundred times your age. We aren't fooled easily." Lyna grabbed the tail of the wolf. "Let's see who this is...."

Dark gasped, how could the fox tell that it was an illusion. Well, it was kind of blurry, and a little obvious. 'I need to practice harder...' Dark muttered. He then felt a pain in his tail, he then made a high pitched yipe and then looked to see a phoenix. Dark growled and then shook the talon of his tail."Me? "Who are you?" said Lyna as she eyed the wolf carefully. "You look like a regular wolf. I haven't seen a regular wolf in ages."

Like Lyna said, I'm Sparklefox. I'm pretty much the last of my kind." Her fur ruffled, but she didn't really mean to. It was just an automatic thing. She felt cautious around the wolf, and got her claws ready to attack. "How did you find the forest?" She snarled again, and stood still, waiting for a response.

Kattari turned around and walked into her den, she curled up in a pile of leaves at the back of her den. Just then a high pitched yelp echo across the forest. Kattari's eyes opened and she grumbled "what can a wolf do to get some decent sleep?!?!?!?" She got up and walked back into the forest. The wind picked up, carrying the scent of other animals. Kattari stayed on the forest floor, silently running across it. As she ran, she let out a howl, 'beware little creatures, darkness does not let its prey go easily' Kattari thought as she silently ran through the night. Then she heard movement and voices. Kattari stopped in her tracks and listened, then she leaped up into the trees, not even bothering to blend into the shadows since it was plenty dark. As she continued to walk among the tree branches, she saw Sparklefox, Lyna, and a black wolf. Kattari stopped in a tree branch just above the group, her black eyes peered down at them as she crouched down. @sparklefox @spiritkoi @starling @xoxo5959

As Sparklefox was occupied with the wolf, Lyna glanced around her and found Kattari above. She tried to get a message to her. Her tail flashed. D-O-Y-O-U-K-N-O-W-T-H-I-S-W-O-L-F Lyna hoped that Kattari knew what she was asking...

She looked all around her, ignoring Dark for a moment. Her sight caught Lyna, and glanced at what she was looking at. She saw Kattari, and looked back at Lyna. Lyna's tail flashed, and Sparklefox tried to see what she was trying to say. (Do... you... know... this... wolf?) Sparklefox turned her head back to Dark, and continued to wait for an answer.

"I found this forest by walking around being a loner, traveling to see what life throws at me."He then sensed someone was near, but ignored it. Dark then whipped his head around to see a fox, one who's pelt was made from fire, and flames surrounded it. The fox was carrying an emerald in her mouth."Who are you?" Kattari was not very good at reading sign language, but she managed to read Lyna's message. She shook her head and showed Lyna her claws that were already out and ready to kill. Then she tilted her head towards the black wolf as if to say 'I'm ready kill.' Just then, a fiery fox came into the group with an emerald in her mouth. 'The more, the better.' Kattari thought and let a mischievous smile spread across her face as she crouched down, ready to attack at any moment...@starling @semo2005 @sparklefox @spiritkoi @xoxo5959

She then remembered. Sparklefox could remember when she found the emerald, and stashed it somewhere safe. Why, you ask? It was when Sparklefox had been in the forest for only a few years, when a huge fire broke out. Sparklefox walked through the fire, as the flames didn't effect her, and saw that the emerald had started it. Sparklefox stopped the fire by slashing the emerald in half with her sword. She stashed it somewhere, where it couldn't start any more fires; the lake."That emerald... I remember! But, how did it repair itself? Flame, where did you find that? Was there a lake there?" She started to silently growl, and got ready for anything. Her fur still stood up.

An ancient king used it to destroy half of his kingdom." Lyna's feathers shivered. "That thing has a mind of its own. It would have destroyed my tree if my tree didnt contain Rina's pearls." Lyna looked closely at the emerald. Hmm.....

The sight of Lyna, Kattari, Sparklefox, and two other creatures were in the distance. They were all far up the mountain compared to Daze's location at the moment. Suddenly a green glimpse caught her eye. `That emerald` Daze thought in horror. Atlas tossed and turned in his sleep until he was awoken by the chatter of creatures. He came out his cave in confusion and looked up the mountain.
