"I was looking for a new home." said Skrull. "To make a long story short the humans destroyed my old home when hunting for dragons. Ironically there were no dragons there and it was just a vicious rumor started by a human who was supposed to protect it."

"Coincidentally, I've had a bad past with humans, too. Ever since I got my second tail, humans wanted to hunt me. Foxes like me had very soft fur and 'great meat', according to them. All of my family, killed. Very few are left, and probably went through the exact same experience as me. When I gained my ninth tail, I couldn't take it anymore. Every hunter I met gained an early grave, and I became... wanted. Whoever hunted me was to be paid a very, very great amount. However, all failed. However, because of Lyna's experience with humans, I learned that not all are bad. That little girl..."
Sparklefox looked out to the storm. She closed her eyes, and faced downwards. She shook her head, and waited for Skrull to respond.

Species: Nine tailed Red Fox
Gender: Male
Appearance: redish brown fur, a typical red fox, three tails tipped with flames
Powers: impervious to fire, controls fire, can keep fire from burning things/control intensity of fire
Other: has been raised by Julia's family in an attempt to reintroduce multi-tailed foxes to the surrounding forests

Lyna kept her eyes focused on the other fox. He seemed to be most like a red fox with three tails. He must be very young compared to Sparklefox, Lyna thought. She met his gaze. The fox seemed confused at her appearance. "Who are you?" Lyna ventured to ask. The fox respond proudly, "I am Flamedancer." His grin was so foolish that Lyna hid her smile with her wing.

Sparklefox sniffed the air.
"Wait, that scent..."
She sniffed again. It was the smell of... a fox. But, not a regular fox.
"They're... still alive?!"
She suddenly jumped up, and ran out the cave. Who cares about a thunderstorm at a time like this? Sparklefox ran over to the middle of the clearing, and roared. As she roared, lightnig flashed and thunder growled on.
(Yay for dramatic effect. 😋)
Her roar 'translated' as,
"Lyna, is that scent coming from your area? I smell... a fox! A multi-tailed one! Oh, please answer!"

Lyna snapped her head in the direction of a familiar roar. "Sparklefox!? Yes, there is one. The forest past Julia's home!" Flamedancer eyed Lyna weirdly. "Who are you talking to?" He cocked his head in a dog-like way. "A friend." Lyna dodged the question. "Now, where are you from?" Flamedancer straightened up as if he was important. "I just came to explore. I live with the other foxes down there. Well, used to." He pointed in the direction of.... Julia's home! Lyna kept quiet, listening intensely. "Of course, I'm the only one with three tails so far. That's why they finally let me live out here!" His eyes sparkled with excitement. "And I know who you are! You're Lyna!" His tails grew brighter as his voice got louder. "I've seen you in an old painting!"

Sparklefox heard Lyna's voice, and roared again.
"I'll be right over," her roar said.
"Sorry, Skrull, I'll have to leave you for now.
She started to run. She looked all around her for Julie's home. After a while, she saw it. Sparklefox knew she was close.
Sparklefox saw the forest, and ran in.
"Lyna, where are you?"
She peeked through a gap in some trees, and saw Lyna with another animal. She focused her gaze on the fox.
(They are alive...)

Flamedancer shivered as he saw another fox. This fox was so different from the ones he had lived with his whole life. 9 tails... Was that even possible?? He felt inferior yet excited at the same time. Cautiously, Flamedancer stepped closer to the fox.

Lyna watched silently as Flamedancer went to confront Sparklefox. Her feathers bristled. Sometimes she wished there were other phoenixes like her.

Skrull got very curious and followed Sparklefox. She saw a three-tailed fox and a phoenix with Sparklefox. "Hi, what are your names? Can either of you stop a fire from burning when a tree is struck by lightning?" she said.

Sparklefox watched Flamedancer slowly walk closer and closer, and growled. He only had 3 tails, so she knew he was younger, and less powerful, than her. But, that didn't matter. Her mouth started to slightly smoke, and then heard a voice.
(...Skrull?!)
Her head quickly turned to Skrull, as she let out a roar.
"What are you doing here?!"

She looked back at the other fox. He seemed... excited. She got into some kind of attacking position, and growled.

Sparklefox gazed at Skrull's wings.
"...Wings? Cool."
She was absolutely fine with another winged creature. She didn't make fun of them, probably because she has wings herself. She looked back at the fox. Her mouth was still smoking and she started to growl again. Her body was in a pretty angry position. (I don't really know how to describe it... ^-^')

"Hey, thunderstorm. Quit bothering Skrull, and leave us alone!"
She roared up at the clouds. Her fur bristled. She looked back at the fox and Lyna, and growled. She wasn't growling at them, she was trying to relieve some anger. She shook her head, and looked back up at the clouds.

Flamedancer tried to look non-threatening. "Hi... ummm.. Who are you? I'm Flamedancer, and I used to live down there." He nodded his head towards Julia's family farm. Uggh, he felt so awkward talking to a fox with 9 tails. They were so powerful, since they have lived for so long and acquired so much knowledge.

Lyna watched Flamedancer say the most awful introduction in the history of the forest's creation. Trying to stop herself from laughing, Lyna looked at the other creature. Skrull looked so different. Never in her entire life had she seen such a creature. She reeked of a kind of darkness that reminded Lyna of Kattari, who annoyed her so. She lashed her tail, sending a gust of wind through the underbrush.

Sparklefox sniggered at Flamedancer's embarrasing introduction.
"I'm Sparklefox. ...Are you nervous, or something?"
She sat down, calming herself down. She shook her head. She couldn't believe this was real. Sparklefox relaxed her body.
She turned her head to the family farm.
"Were there others like you? You know, multiple-tailed foxes?"
She looked back at Flamedancer, and waited for an answer.

Btw, @xoxo5959 is on a semi-haitus.(I got that from her profile.) @starling is roleplaying on Rising to Power which I am roleplaying on as well so I have asked her if she will roleplay on here but she hasn't replied.
