*Smeige- Creature suggestion*

I wasn't going to post this one because I didn't like the way it turned out, but I figured I would so I wouldn't have wasted my time drawing it. Anyone who wants to can write a description ^^ include a part in it explaining why they go from tan to black with lights & why they're being strangled by vines. I'll put up the description I like best and send you some rare travels 😊

(btw, second stage looks awkward but it's supposed to be the smeige running! )

@faybaybay Hmm, I'm not the best with descriptions, but I really like that. It looks like a Cheetah, and I really love Cheetas. 😃

Here is a short description of what came to my mind 😋 which probably is silly:
The Smeige is a curious and cautious creature of the jungles. When the sun is out, it's fur has a warm light color to it, but if ever the sun is hidden in the clouds or goes down for the night, the Smeige's color gradually changes to darker hues, because the sunlight's rays are what gives it the luscious light color. Strange enough, it's spots have the opposite effect and so turn light when the rest of the fur turns dark. The Science and research center is still studying this strange phenomena and are baffled by it.

Because the Smeige loves best to live deep in the jungle, it often sleeps among the vines up in certain giant unidentified jungle trees, which entwine in the Smeiges fur upon rest, so when wakening, the vines often are left sticking to the smiege's fur.

Edit: The glowing lights are produced from the little glowing worms that live up in the jungle trees where smeige's rest, and often leave a trail of the slimy yet bright light behind them on their little travels, so that it often is left on the vines and leaves of the giant trees, producing a radiant yellow glow.

@aedia Thanks for writing a description ^^ it's great! now I just have to wait for more haha & I actually was going to do a cheetah creature but I figured it might be a little too plain :/

@faybaybay Ooo, another good piece of art. xD I never get tired of that... Now before I ramble on about shading and depth, I must say I love the design a lot. ^^ It's fairly cute and pretty different, and looks well-thought out. And the poses are good too. And overall it's super well-executed. xD The shading and poses are just right.... Eh, but that's not important. Great suggestion! ^^

Girl, I envy you because you have a wonderful style. Did you even though about requesting to become an artist like Eggcave's ones?

About the creature ... I just adore the concept. It's a snowy leopard. But a dark one. I just adore the last stage, I would trade anything to have one of them and, saying a quote by @purrclan, there aren't never enough felines. So I would totally love to see it relased someday. Amazing job! ❤️

@ems Aw :* Thank you! I had a little trouble shading the black cause it was the same color as the lineart so I had to give it a little grey & it didn't go so well with the leaves xD

@wererage Thank you so much! Actually I have once or twice, lol haha not any time in the near future. I still have a lot I'm working on style-wise haha. I wouldn't want to make a messy drawings and have people attack me & complain. But maybe sometime if they ever search for more artists & I'm not quite sure how old you have to be too. & I agree! never too many felines, we don't have that many big cats like cheetahs or leopards, just tigers & lions 😋

Although not all felines are created equal - I'd like more non-housecat, non-lion/tiger cats.
Serval, ocelot, lynx, jaguar, cheetah, leopard, clouded leopard, caracal, puma, snow leopard, Andean Cat...
There's a lot of kitties out there 😸
