Ugh I said to myself "you can't join any more rps"... Then I saw this and disorders are something I feel strongly about and I want to join because I want to address anorexia and/or bulimia because misconceptions and stuff.

A random note on the first post... MCR reference?

Yeah! High five! I dig that album. Have you heard the vitamin string quartet cover of that song? I LOVE the way it sounds on strings. I didn't know if it would work but it totally did. Also, I've decided I really really wanna make a character for this if that's okay. I can post a form later. After I finish an essay due in a couple hours. |D

Name, full: Rui Guo

Nickname(s), if any: If people mispronounce his name, he doesn't bother correcting them, so some people will call him Roy or Ray because that's how English speakers sometimes roll. XP

Gender: Male (because new perspectives are my favourite)

Age, must be between 13 and 19: 18. Turning 19 soon, they're just waiting for him to eventually die now because he's got a lot of health complications developing.

Physical appearance, PLEASE DO NOT LIST CLOTHING: Very thin, not yet at the point of being just skin and bones, but his bones create a very visible shape under his skin. He's pallid (though his skin is naturally a medium tone; he's Asian), with dark circles under his eyes. Short-medium length dark hair sort of spikey. He's 5'11".

Personality: He's soft-spoken, and generally a gentle person these days. His personality has altered somewhat since his disorder became a prevalent part of his life. He has a defeated air to his entire being, just feeling so tired from the struggle with his issues. He often carries himself in a slumped fashion. He's positive towards people he gets to know, but is otherwise rather afraid of them. He's afraid of being judged by them, and of saying the wrong thing. He's also terribly embarrassed by his disorder. Often light-hearted outwardly, he tries very hard in his struggle; he's still a fighter deep down.

Mental Disorder*, in which put you into the camp: Alternates between anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. A few other psychological issues accompany those, and they cause him to be quite significantly sleep deprived.

I think that about covers it. I'll do my best to get this character's disorder correct and represent him as he deserves. : )

Probably. I'd definitely want to change my character, too. But that was a really well thought out plot. I suck at making plots. x_x
