Resurrection Stone

I had an idea, that a user with a dead creature would make some kind of lot. Then another user could pay for the resurrection.

That way users who can't buy cc, but want to resurrect a creature have the option.

Other option is, that the stone was somehow transferable. Like travels.

That could work for starring and other potions too.

@barbyka I would appreciate this greatly, but Ian got rid of the cave cash gifting (which would solve this) because he decided cc is a "closed currency" and to get it users should have to pay for it themselves. I for one don't spend money on games I can play otherwise without paying money, but the other thing is five dollars is such a ridiculous price to me...probably because I'm not rich. 😋

I wish you luck with this idea, but from suggestion experience, cavecash is a delicate topic and this may offend some users and even egg cave staff, so tread lightly. 😉 Just avoid arguments with angry people, they just want a fight. 😋 Good luck! 😃

I agree on this. I've been pondering how I could resurrect some of my dead babies when I don't have any CC, but someone has some reserved for me.

i mean, if people give others creatures to gender change or freeze, why not the same with the stones?

I was recently trading a rhinedorph with another user who had offered me an amazing 1000+ CC in which I wanted to use to revive 2 creatures with and use the rest for freezes and purchasing creatures. I had to shut off the offer though because there is no way for me to resurrect my dead ones if i accepted.

As @nenielsen said, CC is closed currency, but I don't see why stones can't be traded. Besides, It's not like we're trading or gifting pure CC.

I wish you luck on your suggestion, and i voted on your poll. If this gets created, the trading of stones, that is, I will make sure to greatly thank you, it would be a great help for those who could use this idea.

Like you said...For a star/frezze/gender change you can send a creature to a user who buys cc and he does it for you. But the dead creature is only on your profile and you have no option to resurrect.

I saw plenty of cc monthlies in Auction center, going for EC. And since we have so many new LE's, users actually have a good chance for trading for cc items.

I know it's hard to keep creatures alive when you're busy. Especially if you have no time to feed, and auctions may not go as high as you hope. So since we can trade for stars and freezes I just wish we could trade for the stone too.

i agree we should be able to give or maybe even trade items from the cash shop park i doesnt have to be pure cc just items like the stone, freezes, gender change and star potions.

That's the thing! We can trade everything in cash shop park except the stone XD

@barbyka I didn't know ian turned off CC trading D: I kinda don't see the point in that. The people who would trade things for CC probably wouldn't be the type to buy it anyway. And it would be nice to be able to buy and send gender stones and freezes to people without having to trade creatures. I can understand wanting more people to buy CC, but turning off CC trading isn't the way to do that imo. And they'd be getting the money from the original buyer so why should they care what they do with it after?

IDK, i really want this site to succeed and flourish and who knows which things would help it more. Maybe trading cc items would keep a steady flow of money coming in and maybe not. But this is something that Ian/the mods should consider.

This is a nice idea. It helps users who've lost creatures have an alternative to getting them back without CC.^^

@barbyka Neutral on that idea, because it does help people, just none of my creatures ever died. Another user paying for the Resurrection is a great idea! Because some users are that kind that they'd donate their CC to help.

I'm neutral on this idea because it helps people, I just wouldn't need it.

I wouldn't really want Resurrection Stones to be transferrable, even though it's kind of the same, but it would actually work extremely well for gifting!

I don't use starring or other potions so yeah xD

Yes, I hope that'd be done one day. I once left this site for a long time and lost many creatures which were actually rare and some of them were even CC.

A new persons perspective, I take care of my critters, but there was a time I was in the hospital to 2 months, so my critters would die because I couldn't look after them and would have no way of resurrecting them???

I haven't meant that the users would have to gift the stone. But a user could pay in EC/creatures to another user, who would then use the stone.
Maybe there could be a link to a dead egg that other users could use in CSP, instead of the stone being transferable.

I got my CC when we could still trade with it. But now I have no way to resurrect my creatures, since we can't send CC and the creatures are on my account.

That happened to me. Even if the creatures wasn't that rare then, it is now. I just hope it's possible.
