"Um, yeah." Rosemary said when Chris came into the room. He looked at Chris. She looked like she had been crying. He decided to not mention it.

Chris glanced between the two with a suspicious look in her eyes but then she just shook it off and laid down on her bed. "So are any of y'all hungry?" Chris asked as she stared up at the ceiling.

"No not really. " Sam said. Glancing at the bed Sam started. "I was wondering if I could take a shower?" Sam pointed to the bathroom. Suppressing a cough he looked down.

"Yeah, you can take a shower. Just don't be in there all day" Chris answered with a smile creeping onto her face. Chris continued to stare at the ceiling as she began to think of the best way to escape.

Chuckling softly, Sam slipped intot he bathroom and closed thedoor behind him. AFter locking the door he emptied the contents of his pockts: the bottle of pills, half a bag of M&M's, and a broken pocket knife. Silently he slipped of his hoodie, and then his sneakers and socks. Turning of the shower, he found a towel in the closet and grabbed it, placing it on the counter. Taking off his short sleeved black shirt, sam noticed a lot of brusies.

After taking off the rest of his clothing he stepped into the shower. The hot water imediatly soothed his aching chest and back area. Taking off the wet bandage on his eye, he lightly put some water onto his eye. It had stopped bleeding, but he was afraid to see what it looked like. After he washed his hair, he stepped out of the shower and saw his eye. It was an area of red flesh; Sam knew he would never be able to see again out of that eye, and he chuckled. didn't matter anyway, didn't need two eyes to see. Taking a couple of pills he dried off his body and ruffled the towel into his hair.

When he put on his underwear, trousers, and belt he couldn't help but here talking coming from what he thought was Chris and Rosemary, so placing his ear onto the door, he tried t hear their conversation.

"Rosemary, I'm so sorry you had to see that" Chris whispered as she sat up and looked up at Rosemary with sad eyes. Chris didn't know how to comfort him and that led to her thinking about the dead Tom, which led to her crying. "I didn't mean. I just didn't want to die. I'm sorry" Chris mumbled in a quiet voice. 'How many times are you going to cry today, Chris?' Chris's dark side asked, annoyed. 'As many times as I have to to get through this' Chris replied. New tears formed and streamed down her cheeks, after her mini conversation with herself.

Without putting on his shirt he walked out. Sam looked at both of them and slid on his shirt.

"Sorry I just..." Pulling on his hoodie an refilling his pockets sam looked at Rosemary quickly then at Chris. "Is tere anything to eat around ere"

Sam looked down and scratched the back of his head. "I'm sorry I'm just... Hungry" Sam lied again. Truth was he wanted to see if there was anyway to get out of this place now. He couldn't wait until night. He had to get out now.

(Btw he rebandaged his eye in the bathroom)

Chris looked up at both the boys with red, puffy eyes. She gave Rosemary a smile and then watched Sam walk out of the room. "A while ago, he said he wasn't hungry" Chris exclaimed, curious and suspicious at why he wanted food now. "Well Rosemary, are you hungry?" Chris asked with a smile.

Seeing rosemary and Chris Sam began following them. "Wait where are we going?" Sam was nervous and after coughing into his arm he wiped the lido onto his pants. He shouldn't had taken so many pulls and now he was feeling dizzy but tried not to show it. His eye was throbbing yet again but he ignored it.

@cutebirdy79 (ooc: Sorry I haven't posted much, I was on vacation, but I'm back now!)

Clyde looked over at Zane and sighed. "I don't see what could go wrong on an assignment like the one your sister is on. Even if something did go wrong though, there's no way we can go and find out... all we can do is wait and see. So why don't you eat up so you're at full strength for anything," Clyde suggested, trying to keep Zane calm.

Leanne nodded in agreement and looked at Zane's tray of food. "Yeah, you wouldn't want that delicious looking meal to go to waste," she said sarcastically.

Clyde rolled his eyes, jokingly. "Hey, it tastes a lot better than it looks."

@bluewolf @lumpkinz11 @kreptacat Hey guys, I'm back.

Zane looked back at his barely eaten food and sighed. "You guys are probably right." Zane replied as he began to eat his food. As he put the food in his mouth, his hands began to shake and the fork fell. "Guys, what if she is dying?" Zane mumbled, his voice shaking like the rest of his body. Zane ran his hands through his hair and pulled at his hair. He began to cry because he was trying so hard to stay seated at the table. Then he couldn't help it anymore and he jumped up from the table and ran out of the cafeteria, letting his feet lead the way.

Chris turned around to face Sam because she heard his voice. "We're going to the cafeteria to eat something" Chris replied with a smile. Then she continued to pull Rosemary down the hall until they got to the cafeteria. Once she got to the door, she saw a boy fly out of the door and she barely had a chance to move out of his way. 'Bathroom, probably' Chris thought with a shrug. Then she lead Sam and Rosemary to the food line. "Get whatever y'all want" Chris exclaimed with a smile.

Elina stumbled along the rock path to the compound, flashes of what had happened before playing over in her mind. People wearing black. Gunfire. Crashing. Blood. Screams. Elina fell to her knees as tears began to fall. "They died in honor, Elina" Elina told herself as she wiped her tears away and struggled to stand up again. The pain from the crash was bad but the migraine only kept getting worse through the whole ride to the compound and seemed to get even worse after the ambush. Once she got to her feet again, she ran to the compound with new tears streaming down her cheeks. 'John, Autumn and Ethan. All dead but why?' Elina thought as she let out quiet scream and new tears fell.

A soldier guarding the vehicles noticed Elina and he dropped his gun as he ran to her. This soldier's name was Vince and he was one of the nicer soldiers.

Elina saw Vince and she used the rest of her strength to get to him. She fell into his arms. "Thank you" Elina said with her last breath and a weak smile. Then she fell into a dreamless state.

Clyde was about to attempt to reassure Zane, again, but saw that he had jumped up before a word could come out of his mouth. "Really, dude. This guy's going insane," he groaned. Clyde then got up as fast as he could and ran after Zane, but after a while, he lost track of him. Even while sprinting, he was no match against a werewolf. He came to a halt and leaned against the wall to his right, trying to catch his breath as he frantically looked around.

Leanne was quick to follow Clyde and stopped shortly behind him, looking down the various hallways. "Any idea where he went," she asked, worried. She barely knew Zane, but he seemed nice enough, and seeing him cry felt like a jab in the gut. Normally, she would agree with the statement that anyone was going insane after that display, but Leanne knew that wasn't true. Zane had seemed far too concerned about his sister for it to all be in his mind.

Clyde shook his head and stood up straighter. He then slammed his fist against the wall, frustrated by the entire situation. "No, I lost him. What is with this guy, if he gets himself hurt, that won't be good news for either of us considering I'm his mentor," Clyde sighed before continuing. "Is there any way you can track him? You know, try dog tracking or something?"

Leanne looked at him, rather uncertainly. "I've never really tried anything like that before. I guess it's worth a shot... no promises though," she said while biting her lip. Leanne then took on the form of a bloodhound and sniffed the air. Soon, she caught Zane's scent and began to run, following it with Clyde at her tail. He wasn't too far now.

Zane found his feet leading himself to the Transport Wing. He searched around for a soldier but no one was around. Zane stepped outside and let his feet lead the way again. That's when he saw his sister in a soldier's arms. She looked unconscious and Zane suspected that the soldier was the cause of her state. Zane grew angry and the wind around them began to pick up. "Step away from her" Zane growled, his eyes blazing with anger.

Vince felt the wind pick up around him and he looked behind him and saw a boy. He looked like Elina so Vince knew it had to be her brother. He grew terrified when the speed of the wind picked up again and once he saw the fire in the boy's eyes and heard the boy growl, he gently laid Elina on the ground and ran back into the compound. Vince ran down the halls until he came upon a boy and a bloodhound. "Be careful down there. There is some crazy boy after Elina" Vince exclaimed, his eyes still filled with fear. He then continued to run down the halls, heading towards his room.

When the soldier ran away terrified, Zane just grew angrier and knew that his suspicion was right. He ran over to Elina and took her in his arms. "Elina" Zane sobbed as the wind slowed and it began to rain. "Don't die on me" Zane mumbled as he gently pulled the hair out of her face.

Elina felt a coldness around her and she began to wake up. Her eyes fluttered and then she saw Zane. "Zane" she croaked as she lightly touched his cheek. Her hand fell when her brain was racked with a wave of pain. She groaned in pain and then the pain went to her neck. Elina's eyes widened in pain and she let out a scream.

Zane began to panic again when he saw the pain his sister was in. "Where does it hurt?" Zane asked. He saw Elina gesture to her neck and he turned her head to see the problem. His eyes widened by what he saw. The skin on the back of her neck had blue lines, that made a spiderweb, on it. The lines grew from her neck to her head and it looked painful. "Did you get a new tattoo?" Zane asked, his eyes teary.

Elina's eyebrows scrunched up in confusion. "No. Why? What's wrong?" Elina asked, her voice going from calm to frantic. Elina screamed in pain again and she closed her eyes. "Make it stop" Elina screamed.

Zane grew fearful for his sister's life and he picked her up. Elina buried her head in his neck as he carried her inside. Zane searched frantically for someone or something to help his sister.

Elina screamed as knew pain filled her head and neck but then the scream ended once she fainted again.

"Help me" Zane screamed as he fell to his knees. He began to sob once he saw his sister's unconscious form.

((Sorry if this is a little confusing or crazy))

@cutebirdy79

Clyde stared in shock at the soldier. It surprised him to hear that Zane hadn't been going crazy after all. Something must've been wrong with Elina, considering how frightened this guy appeared to be. Clyde started to ask what had happened, but the soldier had already started to run away. Clyde turned to go after him, but stopped when he heard a low bark. He shook his head, trying to get his priorities straight, and started to run down the hall towards the Transport Wing. "You're right, you're right. Get Zane first, questions later," he mumbled as the two continued to sprint.

Leanne was faster than Clyde in her current form and skidded around the corner, only to be greeted by a sharp scream that came to an abrupt end. She stopped in her tracks and stared at the scene in front of her. Zane was sobbing and seemed to be in a state of utter panic, while Elina was unconscious in his arms. The thing that scared Leanne the most, however, was the blue lines that were all over the back of the girl's neck. They sure didn't look natural, and something told her that it wasn't a tattoo. Leanne felt her animal instinct take over as she cowered in the corner, far too terrified to go any closer to the chaos.

Clyde took in the fact that Leanne seemed petrified, ready to face what was around the corner. He quickly turned it and ran to Zane without a second thought, seeing that Elina was knocked out. "What's going on? What's wrong with her," he asked, frantically.

@bluewolf

Zane heard footsteps and looked up to see Clyde. "I-i-I d-don't k-know" Zane stuttered as he stared up at Clyde with teary eyes. "We have to get help. She could be dying" Zane mumbled as new tears rolled down his cheeks and he stroked his sister's cheek.

Elina could still feel the pain in her dreamless state and to her it seemed worse. She could feel herself breaking consciousness again and her eyes fluttered open. Elina bit her lip as she held in a scream. 'This pain will not end' Elina thought as she looked up at her sobbing brother. "Zane, just leave me. You don't even know if that mark on my neck is contagious" Elina whispered as she wiped his tears. She grimaced and held in another scream.

Zane wanted to yell at his sister when she told him to leave her but he knew now wasn't the time. "I can't leave you and i don't care if its contagious. if you die so do I" Zane muttered as he looked from his sister and then back at Clyde. "Have you ever seen this mark before?" Zane asked Clyde as he showed Clyde his sister's neck.

Elina grimaced again as her brother turned her head. "Just sitting here isn't going to help me" Elina mumbled as she closed her eyes from the pain.

Zane nodded at his sister. Then he stood up with Elina still in his arms. "We are taking her to the Infirmary" Zane stated, determined to get his sister the best of care.

@cutebirdy79

Clyde narrowed his eyes as he took in the sight of the blue lines spreading across the back of Elina's neck. "I've seen a lot of strange stuff in my days here, but nothing like that," he said with a frown. He then looked at Elina and felt himself beginning to feel panicked. Normally illness and the possibility of someone dying didn't upset him so much... it was a normal occurrence in the compound. This was somehow different though, Clyde just wasn't sure why. He nodded at Zane and started walking quickly down the hallway. "Yeah, that's our best option. Usually they wouldn't take a supernatural in, but I think we'll be alright. Elina's been around the compound a ton, and if this is contagious, they don't want to risk all of their well trained soldiers dying. They'll want to figure out some type of cure," Clyde said with confidence that they'd try to help her as he continued to lead the way.

Leanne still felt completely terrified due to her current animal instinct. She quickly shifted back into her regular, human form and leaned back against the closest wall, clutching her head. After a few seconds, she forced herself to get up and followed after Clyde as he led the way to the Infirmary. Leanne's head was pounding and she felt dizzy, but she knew she had to overcome it. Shifting out of an animal form when an instinct was taking over was always a highly painful process. Normally, she would've passed out from the pain, but thankfully she hadn't this time. "Do you think she's going to be okay," Leanne whispered to Clyde as she rubbed her temple.

Clyde bit his lip and glanced over at Leanne, feeling even more worried than before. "I really don't know... I've never seen anything like this. It just doesn't look good," he quickly mumbled in reply as he hurried along.

@bluewolf

Elina kept her eyes tightly closed and she tightly clutched onto her brother as she tried to fight the pain. "Zane, I don't want to die" Elina mumbled as she buried her face in her brother's neck. Realization had sunken in and she knew there was a chance she could die and she didn't want that.

Zane watched Clyde as he followed him. To Zane, Clyde seemed to be taking Elina being this way not very well. 'Does he have feelings for her?' Zane thought as he glanced from Clyde and then back at his sister. Her body had begun to sweat and she was breathing harder than before. The blue mark on her neck seemed to be spreading and Zane felt like he was the one in excruciating pain. "Clyde, its getting worse" Zane mumbled as he noticed his sister slipping into unconsciousness again.

Elina felt the darkness overcome her again and she welcomed it. She fell limp against her brother as the darkness slipped over the pain and she felt nothing. 'I wanna be this way forever' Elina thought but she didn't realize that the darkness was her life slipping away.

Clyde looked behind him when he heard Zane. He then slowed down so he could get a better look at Elina and instantly felt sheer terror overtake him. He had seen hundreds of humans and supernaturals die before, and they always looked the same in the end. From the way Elina currently looked, she matched them all perfectly. "She's dying," Clyde said quietly with his eyes widened. He breathed heavily as he felt her forehead, only to find that it was ice cold. "Don't do this, Elina," he yelled before looking Zane in the eyes. "The Infirmary is down this hall, to the right. You're faster than any of us, so hurry," Clyde rapidly explained and lightly shoved Zane in the right direction.

Leanne's eyes widened when the urgency of the situation hit her. Someone was dying right before her eyes from some unknown cause. The fact that Clyde seemed so panicked only made her feel more frantic, since he seemed like someone who would generally be calmer in this type of situation. 'Why is this happening,' Leanne thought, worriedly to herself as she stared down the hall.

@bluewolf

Zane began to panic but he tried not to show it because he could smell the fear off of Leanne and Clyde and he didn't want to make it worse. He nodded at Clyde's directions and ran as fast as he could to the Infirmary. "I need help now. My sister is dying" Zane shouted. His shouting got the attention of everyone in the Infirmary and the nurses noticed that Zane was carrying a girl they knew very well.

One of the nicer, older nurses ran to Zane and lead him over to a bed. He set Elina down on the bed and warmed her head with a little fire. The nurse checked Elina's vitals and hooked Elina up to a heart monitor and an IV. Zane watched as a different nurse came by and injected Elina with different needles. "What are you doing?" Zane asked but the nurse just gave him a dirty look and finished what she was doing. A doctor came by and took a blood sample from Elina's neck, then he checked the blood for Faery blood poisoning. The blood came back positive. Zane knew then that there was a chance his sister wash't going to wake up ever. He stayed by his sister's side, waiting for some kind of change but noting happened.

Zane left the Infirmary and went back to Clyde and Leanne. "She was poisoned by Faery blood and there is a chance she may never wake up." Zane explained with in a flat voice. No emotion played over his face because he was numb from the realization of his sister never waking up and the pain that she was causing him. "You can go see her if you'd like" Zane stated as he turned around and walked back into the Infirmary to his sister's bedside.

@cutebirdy79

Leanne stared after Zane as he disappeared back into the Infirmary. She didn't know how to feel about the news Zane had just given Clyde and her. At the moment, it seemed somewhat like good news, since Elina had just been near death and now there was a chance she would survive. Then again, there was also the possibility that she would never wake up. Leanne sighed, rather confused and looked at Clyde. "Are you going to go see her?"

Clyde frowned and nodded his head. "Yeah, I feel like it's the right thing. You're coming too, right," he asked in a depressed sounding tone. The thought that Elina would never wake up wasn't what he wanted to hear. He couldn't figure out why it made him feel this way, since he always tried his best to not become emotionally attached to anyone, not even friends. They always seemed to die in the end anyways.

Leanne nervously fiddled with her necklace as she looked at the Infirmary door, again. "I don't know... I've never been good around blood or needles. Hospital settings just never sit well with me."

Clyde began walking towards the Infirmary, beckoning for Leanne to follow. "C'mon. It's the least we can do, it'll be fine."

Leanne sighed and followed after Clyde, knowing he was right. "Do you think she'll wake up?"

"I don't know. I'm trying to think that she will, it's best to be positive anyways," Clyde said before walking through the door. He walked over next to Zane at Elina's bedside and looked over Elina. Clyde then noticed all of the needles that were injected in her, and glanced over at Leanne, who was standing rather stiffly at the other side of the bed. At least she was dealing partially well with all the needles. Clyde then turned his attention over to Zane, deciding to ask the question that was racing through his mind. " How did she get poisoned with Faery blood? I mean, did Faery blood somehow get into her system, or was she cursed," he asked, deciding not to bring up the fact that nobody else from Elina's assignment had returned with her.

@bluewolf

Zane looked from Clyde to Elina and then sighed. "They say they don't know how it got into her system but they do know that the blue markings were just a sign that it was getting worse and that the poison has been in her system for awhile." Zane explained as he squeezed his sister's limp hand. As Zane stared at his sister, he felt the numbness slipping away and he didn't want to feel the pain so he got up and was heading for the door. "Watch her for me whole I'm gone" Zane called out to Clyde before he slipped out of the Infirmary.

Zane wandered the halls until he felt the numbness slipped away and he was left a broken boy. Zane slid to the floor and curled into a ball. He began to softly sob as he felt all his hope and courage leave him and be replaced by fear and sadness. "Please wake up, Elina" Zane whispered as he closed his eyes and let his body grieve.

Aaron had been on his way to the cafeteria when he started to hear someone sobbing from further down the hall. Everything in his mind told him to just walk away and leave whatever that was alone. The more he tried to ignore it, the more pathetic it sounded and it started grating on his nerves. With a sigh of annoyance he went towards the sound and glared down at the curled form. "If you're going to cry, can you do it somewhere where I don't have to hear you while I'm walking? It's annoying," he said coldly as he stared down at the form before him.
