A "Consignment Store" for CSP/CC purchases?

Maybe something similar to the auctions, but with a few restrictions and a different set of rules.

Creatures must be retired or endangered, therefore nothing currently available in the cave or CSP can be listed.
The asking prices cannot exceed 5k/10k 💵.
Fees are charged for listing and selling your creatures in 🪙.
A fee in 🪙 is charged if you wish to increase the amount of creatures you wish to list for sale.

A log is kept for the transaction of any species ever sold in the store, maybe by listing and updating the mean, median and mode of all sales recorded. This can also serve as an accurate, realistic and reliable value guide for everyone.

The CC is withdrawn and transferred from one account to another securely. This shop will limit what can be traded in the 💵 currency, and there will be checks and balances for creature value inflation. Values will inflate realistically while everyone who can access a creature that meets the criteria will be able to use 💵 again!

@hybridrainbow Wait, what? I can understand the idea behind this... selling creatures for CC by selling them... but the inflation thing has got me a bit confused. Also, I'll let you know (you probably already know), but all things on Egg Cave involving CC going from one account to another (CC gifting + auctions with CC) have been removed shortly after being added. Sadly, while your idea sounds good, I believe it will either get rejected or it will be available for a short time before being taken down. I'm not saying I'm against the idea... but I fear that there are big chances that it will not come into action. :c

It's like how we use the EPF now to compare values when trading, only values wouldn't be updated solely by a few users and it'll be more competitive when it comes to getting your creature sold. It'll be like the processed log in the auctions, only permanent and updated daily for each qualifying species.
Like on neopets with the shop wizard? Items sold for the least amount of nps gets sold first while users drop their prices to compete, instead of "Hey, I want 4 freezes for my invernut!" while another user would trade their invernut for a gender change.

Idk, just saw that they're working on item trading and thought that this concept might work too in a more controlled environment, especially where the resurrection stone dilemma is concerned.

Yeah, hopefully they get that done soon cause it'll make things much easier, because sending your creature to be frozen to a complete stranger isn't always reassuring... and it also sucks for people who worked hard to get a rare creature, which can maybe even be one of their dreamies, and then it dies because they went on a hiatus or just didn't get time to feed it, and that they can't resurrect it because they can't get their hands on CC.

Exactly, scamming does happen and everyone should be able to trade with confidence.
And that's why there should be some way made available to securely trade cc from one user to another without the currency being abused. I'm pretty sure it's very discouraging for them to return to eggcave once they realized how impossible it is to get their creatures back.

@hybridrainbow Indeed. Problem is that most of Egg Cave's users are below the age of 16, thus unable to use PayPal and unable to buy CC, not to mention that it's kinda overpriced, so they have to haggle and trade a lot to get CSPs or anything that comes from the CC shop.

@hybridrainbow hmm like a store of creatures? i like the idea a little but i think it would be better for people who wants to sell their creatures, like they put a min and max price and you can haggle, just like the new shops 😸
