"Well, you can tag along with me, if you want. If you do anything stupid, like try to kill me, my knife will be the last thing you see, or maybe my face will be. Eh, you'll see either one." Hallie said and brought the knife down from her throat. She then pulled out the knives that were surrounding the girl. "We better get away from here, this bloodbath is bound to attract something." She tipped her head slightly, studying him, trying to figure him out. He was the first person who had asked for her name in a long time, most people ignored her. To be fair, she had distanced herself quite a bit from those around her lately. His green eyes were sincere and his smile kind. Her cheeks grew warm, "Adalynn Rye."Her arms ached a little from being held behind her back, "And um... Thank you." She added softly.

Sarah: "okay. um, thank you" sarah really wasn't sure if following this strange girl was a good idea, but she did it anyways. they followed the path they ran along earlier when Hallie was being chased, and they soon found sarah's backpack with all her belongings. Eventually, sarah found the courage to ask the girl, "who are you? how can you do... do all this stuff? I've never seen this before, and I've seen a lot." However, before Hallie could answer, Sarah heard the voice calling again, "Just come out. "I'm-" Hallie was cut off when she heard voices and many footsteps. "Uh, I'm gonna go grab my stuff real quick. You can tag along again if you want." She said to the girl and dashed off. Unlike some other people, Hallie didn't carry her belongs with her. Instead, she hid her items in hollow tree stumps and logs. Hallie finally reached a very small clearing where a log and a hollow tree stump lay. She reached into the log and pulled out a small duffel bag. Then she pulled out a small travel backpack from the hollow tree stump. Sarah: "Uh, I'm gonna go grab my stuff real quick. You can tag along again if you want." the girl said, then disappeared into the trees again. "ok, wait up!" sarah said as she dashed after her. However, sarah couldn't find the girl. She ran in the same direction for a while, before deciding she didn't know where the strange girl had gone. "hey, where are you?!" sarah yelled. she doubled back looking for the girl, but had no idea which way she came from. After a quarter of an hour of searching, sarah muttered, "well, I guess I'm on my own again. probably for the best. I don't know if that other girl would have stabbed me in the back or something in my sleep" and then continued walking west. after another few minutes of walking, however, sarah realized she was missing her knife. she concluded that the girl must have taken it, if only be accident. "gah, now I DO have to find her" and sarah started calling out again.soon enough, she stumbled upon the place they parted, and she saw...@epicthings451@mila_titan@cutebirdy79@windchill@xoxo5959

@windchill - Probably better to just read since it's not that much. I read through the posts on both pages and it didn't take me too long~ I'm not sure how long you were away on a hiatus, but that's the advice I can give, since it's hard to condense the info in a few short sentences. (At least in my opinion...)@cutebirdy79 @epicthings451 @fjhfjh @skittlejgSlightly confused on the set-up of this RP and what is exactly happening, but I shall try my best! ❤️ Hope nothing is too confusing~___________________________________________________In the thicket of the woods, a man crept slowly across the ground. He kept a rhythmic pace; placing one foot in front of the other and was sure to keep each step light to avoid noise. Most of his weight was distributed to the balls of his feet due to the anticipation of the situation, and he cursed to himself for walking with such a poor technique. He was quick to correct his posture, sinking down on his heels a little more, as he continued to walk in complete silence.The thick brush was scraping along his bare arms, cutting minuscule gashes into them, but he didn't seem to mind all that much. His mind was focused on the screams, shots, and yells that had been echoing through the woods. It had gone quiet since the last scream and the man wondered if the girl who had been screaming had finally passed away. He grimaced at the thought. It sounded like a horrible way to go, after all.He clutched the handle of his handgun tighter with both hands as he made his way into a small clearing. A breeze passed through the air, swaying his semi-long bangs against his eyes, and he quickly shook his head to clear his vision. He was sure to make a mental note to get a haircut after this hunt for more recruits. His narrowed eyes fell on a stain of red that was spread across the forest floor. He cautiously followed the trail and didn't take any time in finding out what the source was.He held up his gun to a pile of bodies lying against a large oak tree. He did a quick head count, finding there to be seven bodies. Seven dead bodies. He moved in closer to examine a cause of death. Every one of the bodies had a knife sticking out of their skulls giving him his answer. The work was a bit amateur, but he had to admit the person who did this had some skill. Maybe he'd find a recruit after all. Reaching into his back pocket, he pulled out a black radio and turned it on. He brought the device to his lips and pressed a button on its side."JK to Dani, do you copy?" As Hallie was walking back, she looked at her collection of knives which she held in both hands. One of the knives was slightly bigger and had a different design. 'Hmm, a new knife. Must be that girl's.' Hallie thought. She finally made it back to the spot where she and the girl had parted. Josh stuck close to Adalynn as he followed the hunters. As he was listening to the silence of the forest, Josh heard a radio go off. He looked around for the source and spotted Danielle with a radio in her hand.Danielle heard her radio go off and she unclipped it from her belt. "I copy. What did you find?" Danielle stated into the radio as her eyes searched around the forest.

His eyes dashed in all directions as he held his breath for a moment. Just his luck to have it be on maxed volume. He swore he was going to kill whoever put it back that way. Hearing the silence that met him, he relaxed his tense shoulders and exhaled. 'That was close...hopefully nothing heard that.' He thought to himself in a bit of agitation. He peered over the bodies as he clicked the button on the radio again. "I'm not quite sure, to be honest." He began, crouching down to the level of the bodies, "Looks like a massacre of bodies. Seven of'em. Race unidentifiable at the moment..." His voice trailed off as he lifted a mutated arm with the edge of his handgun. "Disregard that. It appears they're shapeshifters; the animal kind." He explained, dropping the arm back down to the ground. He rose up from his crouched position and looked around for who might have managed to take down seven of these creatures, but shook his head of the thought. Clearly whoever did this wasn't around anymore.He pressed the button again, bringing the tool to his lips. "Whoever killed them had skill, I can tell you that much. Would you like me to pursue?"__________________________________________________

No matter how close he got he still couldn't hear. "Dang" Josh muttered as he gave up on trying to listen in on their conversation.Danielle paced as she listened to Jake explain what he had found. She stopped in her tracks when he said "Whoever killed them had skill, I can tell you that much. Would you like me to pursue?". "Yes Jake, I would like you to pursue the killer" Dani stated into the radio as a smirk appeared on her face. 'This whole forest is full of them, inst it?' Danielle thought as she clipped the radio back to her belt and looked up at Josh.Josh nearly jumped when he saw Danielle looking at him. 'They must have found another newbie hunter, i guess' Josh thought as he nodded at Danielle and then looked at Adalynn. "We might be in these woods for awhile" Josh muttered with a weak smile.

He mused in his mind, thinking up an unrealistic image of the culprit in his head. It consisted of some bulky looking guy, who was dressed in dark clothing and hid his face behind a hockey mask, holding up a bloody kitchen knife. 'Yep, definitely unrealistic.'A sigh escaped his soft lips as he pressed the button one final time."10-4."He turned off the radio and placed in back into the rear pocket of his grey, denim jeans. While most people would have left the thing on, incase any emerganies were to arise, he preferred to keep it off. The thing was way too noisey to keep on and it would attract unwanted attention. Unwanted attention like those shapeshifters he had just left behind. It was hard to find a trail to track. He was starting to feel he would have to go on intincts, until he spotted a few soft indentations in the wet soil just a few feet away. Footprints. Two different sets to be exact. By the size of them, he could conclude that these were from two young females. He also noted one stepped with confidence, while other appeared more nervous in their movement. 'Sisters protecting eachother?' He thought, walking beside them as he followed their trail.The tracks dispersed into chaos then. One set fled one direction while the other strayed away after a short period of time. What was even more annoying was the fact that the ground had becoming dry and hard in these areas and the footprints he was previously following had disappeared into it. "Great..." He grumbled.Then he heard a noise. A bird? No, a voice. He raised his gun towards some brush cautiously. He could hear the sound of a young girl talking."Hey, I-"

@cutebirdy79Adalynn couldn't resist a small chuckle at Josh's last remark, the alcohol in her system didn't help much either. The lady did seem a little on edge and although she didn't enjoy the fact that she was being thrust into this situation, she could hardly blame the woman. These woods were known to the locals to be fraught with all matter of supernaturals. "In fact," She thought to herself as she felt her pocket for her gun, "We've been incredibly lucky that we haven't run into one yet." Assured by feeling of the contour of her weapon, she relaxed a bit. She had never fired the gun -at least, on purpose- but, as her brother had told her in the past, it could stop most supernaturals. Her mind drifted to her brother. "Yeah," She thought, "It will stop most, but not all." She sighed, returning from her revelry to notice that Josh was looking at her, a small smile on his face. She realized that he must have been speaking to her, so she nodded, hoping that he wouldn't notice her inattentiveness.She glanced out into the forest, but there was still no sign of any monsters. The silence made her uneasy, "Did you run into any supernaturals in these woods?" She asked the boy, still scanning the surrounding brush for any signs of trouble.

@cutebirdy79 BACK, I had to read so much ;-;"Well I figured." Day responded with a blank expression. She looked back down at the supernatural's corpse, laying upon the forest floor. "So," she started ",lets leave the scene before something else comes around." Day checked her soundings and left the clearing, hoping Ava would venture with her.After that swift kill of the werewolf, Day felt ashamed. She felt so useless from her fail of a knife throw. Dumb luck just happened to cut the rope instead. Thinking of weapons lead to Day pulling out her gun for protection. Can't just defend herself with a pathetic little pocket knife. Now that she thinks of it, she left her knife back at the ropes and the dead werewolf. Oh well, not like its that useful to her anyways.---(A/N: I'm just gonna restart Evan since a lot stuff started to happen which messed up Evan's setting)Evan sat upon a tree, twirling one of his gun on his pointer finger yet again. Waiting for a supernatural was boring. Finally, something runs by. Oddly, a horse trots by. Evan knew horses don't roam in these kind of forests so it seemed a little suspicious.He softly swung down from the branch and attempted to follow the tracks of the possible impostor. Sarah was staring at a tall boy with calloused hands, a head full of dark brown locks, and bright hazel eyes. He was intimidating, but sarah also found something appealing about him, an emotion she had never felt before. They stared at eachother for a couple seconds before Sarah heard footsteps to the left, and Hallie reappeared with her belongings and Sarah's knife. She said, "Hey, I..." before she noticed the newcomer also and stopped. Not knowing what to do but knowing Hallie would at least warn her if the boy attacked, she stepped over to Hallie and held out her hand for her knife, which Hallie gave to her. Then, still not taking her eyes off the stranger, she asked Hallie, "is he human?"@skittlejg@mila_titan@epicthings451 I guess @kurochi-akuma decided for us =P@xoxo5959

He was cautious of the two, but at the same time he didn't want to appear threatening. The last thing he needed was to get into a fight."I'm human. I assure you." He said with an unwavering voice. He took a moment to observe them, taking in their features and body language. The girl on the right was smaller in both height and weight it seemed. She also gave off the impression she was more uneasy with his presence than the girl on the left. Their hair was styled different- one curly, while the other straight- which he was thankful for due to not being able to quite see the exact color both emitted naturally. The girl on the left, though staring at him, seemed to put up a defensive front and didn't seem afraid to fight back if he tried any funny business.He noticed that his thoughts were wandering and that he was probably staring at them."The question is, are you two?" He inquired, arching an eyebrow in their direction.

Hallie placed the knife in the girl's held out hand, just as a man emerged from the bushes in front of them. She slipped a few knives into her deep pockets and kept a few knives in her hands. "I don't answer questions from strangers" Hallie responded. She took a step back, seeing that he could've been lying that he was human. Using the time wisely, she decided to take a look at who she was going to be dealing with. He had brown hair, the bangs sort of long in Hallie's opinion. Evan's breath gradually gain heavier. He started to lose sighting of the shapeshifter and was kind of surprised it hadn't noticed him sooner. Finally the horse figure began to slow down for a stop near a lush thicket. Evan step-sided behind a tree just before the supernatural felt his presence. The eyes of the shapeshifter wondered around but still hadn't spotted Evan, yet.It's head turned back to the thick bushes as rustling came threw. Another animal, a deer, approached the horse. The mouths of them began to move, making soft mumbling sounds. Evan tried to make out the word and noticed the pitch seemed higher than what he expected. Female shapeshifters perhaps? Seemed the most logical solution. He started to lean a little too forward, causing himself to step out of place to prevent falling. The two animals flicked their visions to Evan. Evan felt his palms started to sweat. He tightened his grip on his guns.From a horse and a deer, the two supernaturals changed into bears. The threatening beasts roared at Evan and charged towards him. Evan aim both guns towards the head of both animals and shot a couple rounds. A loud thump vibrated the forest floor and a crimson color leaked into the dirt. Evan inspected himself to find some splatters of blood on himself. He attempt to clean it off with his saliva but it only ended up smearing it with the color more faint. Evan shrugged to himself and decided let it be. Though he wasn't the type to surrender to unknown people, the man knew the second option would be better. Both parties were armed, him with his gun and the girls with their knives, so any confrontation would end up looking like the shapeshifters by the tree. He had to prove himself before they would even consider listening to him.A sigh passed through his lips. "Alright, relax." He stated.In a slow movement, he released his gun with one hand, holding it only in his right hand, before pulling it towards his body. He made sure to keep the muzzle of the gun pointed to the sky as he bent down and place the handgun gently on the ground. He now held both of his hands up in a gesture that signified surrender to the girls."My name is Jakoby L. Wells. You could say I'm somewhat of a specialist." He tried to choose his next words wisely. "I'm a hunter who takes down supernatural beings. I've been doing so since the age of sixteen. Judging by the knives you're both carrying, I take it you know a little something about that."He paused and with a similar speed when putting down his gun, he reached behind him. "Easy." He warned to the girls, noticing their staring.He clutched something in his back pocket and carefully pulled it out. He held it up in the air for them to see. The object in his hand was a black leather wallet. With large fingers, he carefully opened up the wallet and removed two plastic cards that were about the size of credit cards. He held them out to the girls standing before him."These are my credentials. On them you'll find my name, birthday, address, license number, and blood type." He explained to them, adding extra emphasis on the blood type. "They're legit and will prove I mean no harm."Then two gunshots echoed in the distance, prompting Jake to look in their direction with a bit of worry.

@xoxo5959 Ava looked down at the corpse and then back at Day to see she was walking off. Ava ran to catch up with her. "So do you know of the Supernatural Hunters?" Ava asked as she looked down at her shotgun. "I'm asking because today they go through these woods hunting and not just for Supernaturals but people like us" Ava added as she clicked her shotgun. Then Ava heard a few gunshots in the distance and she froze to listen. "You heard those gunshots, right?" Ava asked.

@cutebirdy79 Before she could respond to Ava's question about the gun shots in the distance, Day quickly stopped as a demand was called behind her. She was assuming the female whom demand her to freeze and surrender her belongings was armed but Day couldn't tell with her back turned.In panic, Day's reflects was to drop her duffel-bag and sprint out of sight. The bag made a small cloud of dirt as it land on the ground. Day had dashed towards a climbable tree and quickly pulled herself to a branch covered in leaves. She took a deep huff of breath and leaped to a sturdier branch above.Day sadly realized she had disobeyed one of the orders of someone who could possibly be beneficial. Or, the person could of been a supernatural. If it was a supernatural, she helplessly just left Ava down with it. Guilt settled inside but it wasn't the most of her problems.She slipped into the shadow of the tree she climbed in and saw others along with the stern impression female. Day pressed her lips together in thought for a plan of what to do when they decide to attack or something to dominate over her. Day had obviously left her necessities and weapons in the bag she dropped in demand so she can't fight or defend herself properly.---Evan stop a pretty good distance from the clearing where he killed the two shapeshifter at the thicket. He finally realized how silent the forest became after he fired his guns. He wonder what that could of caused considering the gun shot Evan heard earlier.@kurochi-akuma @epicthings451 @fjhfjh @skittlejg

@xoxo5959 Ava watched in surprise as Day dropped her stuff and jumped into a tree. Ava knew the voice that had shouted and she nearly jumped for joy. "Day, its okay. She won't hurt us unless she is provoked" Ava reassured Day in as loud a voice as she could.Silver heard her sister's voice and couldn't help it, she quickly unstrapped her claws from her hands and dropped them to the ground, then she ran towards her sister.Ava saw her sister and she dropped her shotgun and jumped into her sister's open arms. "Its been too long, July" Ava whispered as tears of joy formed into her eyes.Silver hugged her sister tightly and wanted to never let her go again. "I know, Ava" Silver whispered."July, that's not very professional" a female voice shouted from behind a tree. Silver looked up and saw her blonde friend, Kylie. "Who cares about being professional when family is around?" Silver shouted out at Kylie with a small laugh. Her remark earned her a laugh from Kylie.Ava stepped out of her sister's arms and then looked back into the trees for a sign for Day. "Day please don't leave" Ava shouted.((Sorry if a little confusing))

@cutebirdy79 ...awkward. I don't know who Kylie is owo---Day hesitated to come out of the tree, but after seeing Ava be so friendly with whom she mentions as 'July' she jumped down from the branch. Day's facial expression remained blank as she studied the other people. She took a small step towards the tree, just in case they attempt to harm her. When Day was still in the tree, she recalled another person mentioned as 'Kylie' whom had stood behind a tree, also mentioning the female 'July'.As what seemed to be a small family reunion, Day kept herself silent as usual. @kurochi-akuma @epicthings451 @fjhfjh @skittlejg

Day this is July" Ava exclaimed.Silver gave Day a small smile and then glanced at her sister. "I saw that you had killed a werewolf back there" Silver stated as she gave her sister an admiring smile.Ava looked at her sister and then back at Day. "Well I couldn't have down it without Day" Ava exclaimed as she gave Day a tankful smile.Silver stared at Day for a few minutes and then she smiled. "Thank you for helping my sister out" Silver tanked Day. Then Silver looked over at all her hiding teammates and motioned for them to put away their weapons and step out. "Well Day, do you know who we are?" Silver asked as she gestured to herself and the rest of her teammates.

@cutebirdy79 Day put on a shy smirk as the two sisters appreciated her help she doubted was even helpful. July looked away and motioned her teammates to come out of hiding. While gesturing to them she asked "Well Day, do you know who we are?" Day inspected the teammates July pointed out and noticed them being armed with weapons and the type of clothing each wore. Most are well build or nicely fit for running and fighting. Day had also recalled Ava asking a question about these 'Supernatural Hunters' before a gun shot echo threw out the woods. She looked over the teammates once more and it seemed legit for them to be hunters. "Are you the Supernatural Hunters Ava mentioned earlier?" Although Hallie was really tempted to quickly pick up his gun from the ground, she decided not to. She examined his credentials that he held out for them to see. 'I did not really need to see his blood type' she thought to herself and continued examining. Just then, two gunshots echo through the forest. But Hallie didn't react to them since she was not the one being fired at. "Alright, I believe your human. And I'm also human, but I'm not telling you additional info" Hallie said after he spilled out some information about himself. His movements became steadily more relaxed upon hearing that they were willing to listen to him, but he didn't pick his gun off the ground just yet. "I found the shapeshifters you killed a few paces east of here. None of my comrades came through this section of the woods just yet, except for me, so I knew it had to be someone else's work." He explained, then smiled genuinely, "I have to say, your knife skills are pretty good."He paused, seeming to hold back some words he was going to say, before continuing his speech."My team is traveling along the roadways to find recruits this afternoon. We are a small group of humans who haven't exactly had the best of lives. We've seen the worst this cruel world has to offer. Monsters, demons, supernatural beings..." He shrugged, "Whatever you want to call them, we're here to put an end to their lives. That's our oath. To protect the public from these monsters. I found you to ask you to join us."He placed his wallet into the rear pocket of his jeans, and then he reached down to pick up his handgun.His hazel eyes fell back on the girls as he placed his gun in its holster on his hip. Hallie listened as Jake explained why he had approached her and the other girl. At the end of his speech, he asked to take them somewhere safer. "Um, ok..." she said, hesitantly. Although he had confirmed that he was human, Hallie was still a little unsure about following him to a so called "safer" place.
