Jake watched as the girl set down her bags in his truck and place her knives back in her pockets. "Until my team regroups and I take you back to where you came from before you entered those woods." He stated.

Speaking with her felt off, though. She didn't give the normal aura of someone who just encountered supernatural beings for the first time. In fact, it was at the other end of the spectrum. She knew how to kill and how to kill well. Sure, she had some amateur qualities, but overall was a better fighter than most human recruits.

He leaned against the side of his truck, holding his hands together in a casual way. "So, if you don't mind me asking..." He started, giving one last glance at her bags, "What brought a young girl like yourself to those woods carrying all that gear? Surely, you weren't going on your daily hike." He questioned, bringing his eyes to meet her's.

@kurochi-akuma @cutebirdy79n@mila_titan @xoxo5959 @epicthings451 sorry guys I went camping for the week!!

Before Jake could reply, Sarah jumped in, saying, "We already know what you want. And we are staying put for now, see? But you still won't tell us what's going on or who your group is or what you are planning to do with us, so please don't expect too much cooperation." She gave him her sweetest smile, then turned to the book she saw earlier in the truck. "What is this for? do people normally carry textbooks around with their guns?"

@kurochi-akuma @cutebirdy79n @xoxo5959 @epicthings451 @fjhfjh Oh my gosh! I love Sarah's character, she is so sassy! XD

"I have a feeling you know what I'm talking about, even if you haven't seen it for yourself." Adalynn couldn't help but shudder slightly at these words. Memories came flooding back, forcing their way through the walls that she had put up many years ago.

Memories of long auburn locks, flowing in the crisp early-winter breeze, a beautiful face, soft lips, gentle arms resting on her brother's shoulders. Everything was happy, everything was normal.

"...even if you haven't seen it for yourself." No, she realized she hadn't seen. The woman that she had thought would have been the perfect match for her brother, the one that she thought would have made them a happy family turned out to be one of them.

Her teeth began to grind together. She swallowed hard and shoved the memories down further.

"You have no idea." She muttered.

@kurochi-akuma @cutebirdy79 @mila_titan @xoxo5959 @epicthings451 @fjhfjh you just jump in right...?

Perched upon a high branch, Mellz watches the comosion play down bellow her. She had been up there since the roaring trucks had shown up and since then she had been hearing nonstop nonforrest noises, noises she couldnt explain. Out of fear Mellz had stayed put, but now she wished she left, that she had more curious bones her body. But she didnt, and she was now stuck staring silently at the girl who nearly caught her while hoping among the tree branches bellow her, a boy who got punched and multiple other people that were pushing there way out of the forest. Before the people had appeared with there many weapons , there had been an unsual spike of unnatural creatures coming to the forest, abd Mellz had been checking it out. Then surprising amount of people began showing, so then she hid up a tree and thats where shes been since.
Though, there was one thing that surprised her more than the uncountable amount of people that had entered the forest on this particular day and the occasional terrifying creature that she encountered, was the fact that she hadnt been caught. Even with her 'ability,' as she liked to call it, someone should have seen or at least heard her creaking branch... Sighing softly, she pulls her bow off her shoulder along with her arrow pack and hangs them both on a higher branch. Stretching quietly, Mellz pulls her hair back into a better ponytail, continuing to watch everything going on bellow her.

@fjhfjh - Did you enjoy your trip? 😊

@dragonheart2013 - Yup! Just jump right on in and, from the looks of your post, it seems that you did just that. ^-^ Currently my character is talking to a few people, so he wouldn't probably notice your quiet character in the trees, but fear not! I'm sure someone will welcome you in. 😉

Jake couldn't get much of an answer from the one girl, before the other one got his attention and began berating him with questions. He thought hard to remember what the first one even was when she was finally finished, but eventually managed to snag it from his subconscious.

"What's going on is something strange in those woods." He gestured to the brush a far ways behind him with an extension of his thumb. "My team seems to have spotted quite a few different supernatural species in there. So, you can understand why I wouldn't want you two going back in there. In addition, my team came here today in search of new recruits for our group. We hunt supernatural beings, so I guess you could say we're some sort of team of hunters that rid the world of all the creepy-crawlies. It's a thankless job, to say the least, but someone has to protect the public and the people you care about." He explained, his expression going a bit somber towards the end of his speech.

"I believe I already addressed what I was going to do with you two, that is, unless you have really no home to go back to. Most people wandering the streets out here don't, so that's one of the reasons why we hunt for recruits here. Some people...don't exactly have the best of lives." He smiled in understanding, before pushing himself off the side of the truck. "It would be your choice if you wish to join us or not."

His eyes fell on the book she was holding, recognizing it almost instantly.

"And that." He said, reaching over and pulling it from her grasp, "Is great reading material while you're on the road!"

Though his tone appeared carefree, there was a slight hint of a smirk on his lips. There will be a time when they will find out the truth about this particular book, but not now. He turned his attention back to Adalynn, noticing the sad expression on her face. He didn't push her into telling him about it and simply gazed over at Silver and her small group.

@kurochi-akuma loved it! thanks for asking 😃 I also got to see family again so that was great!
@dragonheart2013 Do you want Sarah to find you? she's heading into the forest

Sarah was silent for a moment, she could tell that Jake was hiding something. Not sure how best to continue, Sarah picked up a few knives and one of the rope coils in the truck. "Well, if you are planning on recruiting us," Sarah said to Jake, "then you shouldn't mind if I restock some of my materials." She slid the knives into her belt, and climbed out of the truck. She headed back towards the trees, calling over her shoulder, "I need to relieve myself, I'm not running off," although in reality she wanted some time to think and to be alone.

sorry its so short! 😸

Before she could answer his question, Sarah asked about the book in her hands. Hallie took a quick look at the book before Jake took it away from her. There was awkward silence after the book was taken away, but it was broken once Sarah started to gather up a few items and headed over to the nearby trees. Hallie peered at the book that was now in Jake's hands some more, but she couldn't read the title.

"'Great reading material while your on the road?'" Hallie restated. "Is that your little storybook?" she teased him with a smirk.

"Anyways, back to your question. No, I wasn't going on a hike. I ran away from my house maybe 4 weeks ago. Oh whatever, I lost track of the days; it's probably a while. I wan't sure who or what was in my parents' room at night, but I heard lots of noises and crashing in there. So, being a selfish child that I was, I shoved stuff in two small duffel bags and a backpack and left through my window. And of course I forgot to grab extra hair ties!!! Anyways, from there, I ran into the woods, where I ditched my second bag since I was running away from those things." she said to him.

"Oh, and never open the duffel bag, most of the clothes stink in there... Tmi..."

Omg I'm actually alive ;v;

----

Day blindly followed the group. She was unaware of the destination they where heading but she had her trust on Ava and Sliver.
Eventually they arrived at a clearing where more people were present. Day watched as Ava went and step up to one of the males in the clearing. She then unexpectedly punched him to the ground. Day kind of froze in place, feeling unsure of how to react to the sudden beating. Ava and the boy talked with a hint of tension in their speech shortly after.

An older male spoke with the three females that were already in the clearing. Two girls were in the back of a pick-up truck and the third stood. The conversation didn't seem very blunt.
One of the girls hopped out of the black truck and headed away. Day could hear her reassuring them of her just taking some time alone.
The atmosphere between the majority of people felt mistrusting and Day could tell information was still hesitant to be told.

Thinking further into her thoughts, she had herself remain silent at the brim of the clearing.

--

Evan stuck his empty guns into his holster. He stepped over a couple of fallen bodies as he walked. He caught a glimpse of a women with jet black hair as he turned the corner of shrubs. Evan recalled her from earlier. She was the one running by with those supernaturals chasing her down.

"Hey," he began, "what kind of mess were you trying to get into?" He asked, crossing his arm.

@kurochi-akuma ok thx! 😊
@fjhfjh yeah if sarah found mellz that'd be great 😃

Mellz's muscles began to ache the longer she crouched on her branch. And Despite her efforts to stretch it off and distract herself by watching the group interact with each other, it didnt seem to work. She needed to get more blood to her arms and legs, fast or it might cause them to go numb, and render them useless.
After a minute or two of trying to ignore the growing pain, Mellz finally lowered herself onto a branch just bellow. It was thinner and weaker than the one she had previously been on, though it was capable enough to hold her weight. As her body stretched itself out, with the help of gravity, a small groan escaped her lips. The feeling of pins and needles ran through her already aching limbs. When the pricks stopped and Mellz was balanced on the new branch, she glanced around at the noticeably smaller pack than earlier.
Taking a mental note of the number of people, the thin, red-haired girl continued climbing down the tree until she reached a low enough branch that she could drop to the ground without injury or noise, but high enough as not to be seen. Slowly, Mellz crouched down and surveyed the area directly around the tree.
There were a few shrubs and tree trunks that lined unorderly in between the clearing and the tree. The forrest floor itself was covered with ivy, thorns, and plenty of other unrecognizable plants.
Seeing nothing worth being worried about, Mellz started to drop to the ground, just as some leaves in an undergrowntree ruffled loudly. Quickly and not so quietly Mellz tried to scramble back up onto the branch, but her hands slipped from the moisture collecting on her palms and she caming crashing to the earth with a light thud. A squirrel darted out from a low branch and into a small next to.the trunk. Shakimg her head in embarrassment she stood up and dusted herself off.

@fjhfjh - Sounds great! Glad you enjoyed it~ (:

Jake's eyes did a quick scan of the various members in his group to make sure all remained well. There was still no sign of Danielle and that worried Jake the most, however he didn't appear to show it outwardly. He knew this was one of the worst possible moments to get overly emotional. No, he had to keep a leveled head. She was going to be alright.

One of the girl's voices snapped him from his thoughts and he turned around to locate its source. The one with curly hair was walking towards the woods to his far left, yelling over her shoulder about having to take a leak or something.

'Of all the times.' Jake thought with a bit of irritation, but he let it be.

"Just don't wander too far!" He warned her, "And stay within ear shot!"

He only hoped she'd at least obey that.

The one with straight hair, who he still didn't know the name of, teasingly noted something about the book he was holding. He hesitantly pulled his eyes from the disappearing teenager and back onto her. The corners of his lips pulled back into an amused smile as he spoke. "And you never picked up a book before to read? Contrary to what you may think, books, storybook or not, can provide great insight into many things in life. Beliefs, folklore, theories, facts, and debates; just to name a few. You should try it sometime. Maybe you'll grow up a little."

She proceeded to answer his question about why she was carrying that sort of gear out in the woods and it didn't surprise him that she was on her own because she ran away. There were a lot of questions he wanted to ask her, but he also didn't want to overwhelm her. Quickly, he prioritized and condensed his questions as much as he could.

"Your parents just happened to have a full artillery of hunting knives laying around in their house?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, "On the subject, though, how did you learn to fight or even use that kind of weaponry? You look to be about- what? Fifteen? Sixteen? Shouldn't you be on the cheerleader team at school or something along those lines? Nevermind, don't answer that one."

'If this girl ran away, then the cops would be searching for her.' He thought, 'It's been four weeks, though. If her parents were at least semi-decent, they would've reported her missing the night she left or even the next morning. Which means...the cops have probably pronounced her deceased due to the large amount of time that has passed, according to her.'

He leaned against the truck once more after his mental debate, the book tucked under his left arm, politely waiting for her reply.

@xoxo5959

Danielle eyes were scanning the trees when she heard a voice beside her and her eyes quickly moved towards the source. Her eyes met a tanned boy with spiky black hair with dyed red tips. "I figured my savior would be taller" Dani teased with a smirk. She finally managed to stand and took in the rest of the boy's appearance. Danielle nodded in approval and stuck her hand out to the boy. "I'm Danielle and thanks for saving me from that crazed mob back there. They didn't like it when I shot one of their friends so that's how that all started" Danielle stated as her eyes flickered from the dead bodies behind the boy and back to the boy's face. "Where did you learn to shot like that? That isn't a talent people are just born with but maybe you were, I guess." Danielle asked with a smile. This was the most she had ever really liked a recruit unless you counted Silver and Jake. Jake and Silver were liked her favorite kids or niece and nephew.

Silver was getting restless because Dani still wasn't back yet and she didn't want to leave without her. Silver grabbed her radio and took a deep breath. "Jake, I'm going back in to look for Dani. If I'm not back in 45 minutes, then leave without me" Silver stated before she dropped her radio and ran back into the woods. She could hear the unnatural sounds of the Supernaturals around her and she hoped she wouldn't have any problems with them as she looked for Dani.

Ava went to the other vehicle, that no seemed to be messing with and she opened the driver side door. She climbed into the driver seat and shut the door. Ava knew she was probably being nosy but she didn't care because nosy was her usual way of getting to know strangers. She noticed a piece of paper hanging out of a box in the back seat. Being the nosy person Ava is she pulled the box into her lap and opened it. Inside was two pictures, a book and permits for weapons and cars.

One picture, Ava instantly recognized as a picture as her and her sister before they were separated. "So that's where that picture went" Ava muttered, her eyes teary and a smile on her face. She blinked the tears away and looked at the second picture. It was her sister, some older woman and a boy that she recognized as the man that was with Josh earlier. "That must be when July first joined or something so that means that woman is the leader, which means this is her car." Ava stated as she put the pictures back in the box and put the box back in the back seat. She then exited the car and climbed into the back. Ava noticed claw marks in the truck's bed and she traced them with her fingers. 'Werewolves' Ava thought as pulled her fingers from the marks.

Ava heard a rustling in the bushes and then a wolf came barreling out, being chased by a tiger. "Stupid shifters" Ava muttered as she climbed out from the back of the truck. "Let me help you" a female voice stated as she pulled Ava down and pinned her against the truck. "When did us skins become stupid?" the woman growled and Ava guessed she was the tiger and the younger boy behind her was the wolf. "Oh did I say stupid, I meant funny" Ava exclaimed, knowing she was defenseless against these skins. The female growled and pushed Ava's arm into an odd angle and Ava heard a crack. "No more smart comments" the woman growled after Ava let out a scream. As Ava's mind raced, she wondered why this skins had attacked her, when hunters were not but 10 feet away.

((Don't kill these skins, please. You can injure them but no killing *does puppy dog face*))

Jake's radio started up again and Silver's voice rang out into the calm air, though it was slightly muffled due to the radio being in his back pocket.

"Jake, I'm going back in to look for Dani. If I'm not back in 45 minutes, then leave without me." She stated, then it went back to static.

"No..." He groaned, clenching his teeth. He quickly shuffled to grab his radio out of his pocket, dropping the large book from under his arm in the process. It made a echoed 'thud' yet he didn't appear to hear or care. Once pulling the radio free, he pressed down on the talk-button.

"July, listen to me." He said, his voice uneasy, "Do not go back in those woods alone. I repeat, do not go back in."

He let go of the button, feeling his heart sink when static only met his response.

A curse escaped under his lips and his eyes closed in irritation as he pressed the fingers of his free hand against the bridge of his nose. "July, answer-"

That's all he could get out.

Ear-splitting screams resounded around the area by several people and Jake's heart sank even further to his stomach upon hearing them. His head snapped up in the direction they were coming from, quickly locating the source. A woman was standing over the familiar girl from before, holding her by the arm in an attempt to apprehend her. The position looked painful, though. He didn't care to analyse much else. There was no time.

He uttered a tense "Get down!" to the girl in the back of his pick-up truck, and then headed towards the scene as fast as his legs could carry him. He was happy it wasn't too far from them. By now, he was able to see a boy by the woman as well. He looked younger than the woman, but that didn't matter. If he was with the woman, that deemed him an enemy as well. Jake sought it best to start with him.

His fist collided with the boy's head in a running punch. As suspected, he wasn't human. It was a strong punch, but Jake felt like he was punching a ton of bricks and not a human being, something that was clearly a red-flag when it came to being a supernatural. The boy still fell to the ground under the force, which was Jake's general goal. There was a severe pain in his hand and wrist, but he ignored it as he lifted the boy up by his hair and held a knife to his throat.

"Hey! Lady!" He yelled in her direction in between heavy breaths, "You let mine go...and yours doesn't have to die."

He leaned down to the boy's ear.

"Don't even think about shape shifting. You'll be dead before you change." He muttered in warning.

Maybe the car area/clearing should get ambushed by supernaturals while Danielle and Silver are away! It'll make everybody break out their skillz. Just an idea that popped up in my head ^^"

Hallie stared at Jake with confusion as he dropped the book that was tucked in his arm and started to talk frantically into his radio thing, trying to get a response out of some person named July. Just then, a scream of pain broke out; catching everyone's attention. She turned her head towards the source of the sound and noticed that a woman had a girl pinned against the other pick up truck. And there was young boy standing behind the woman.

She heard Jake say and she did as she was told, crouching in the bed of the pick up truck once again. The next time Hallie peered over the side, she saw him holding a knife up against the young boy's throat. She really wanted to throw one of her knives at lady, but she resisted the urge since Jake seemed to have the situation under control.

As Sarah was walking into the woods, she heard a small crash followed by a thud. Wondering what that could be, She followed the direction of the sound until she reached a tree and a girl dusting herself off. "Oh wow," Sarah said,"I didn't know they had guards posted around the trucks too, are you one of them?" she asked, jerking her head back towards the trucks. Before the girl could answer, however, a loud scream erupted from the left of the gathering place, followed by a bunch of yelling and commotion from the truck area.
"What happened now?!" Sarah groaned. Turning back to the girl, she said, come on, we'd better see if we can help at all. What was your name?" before running back to the clearing.

Mellz stood just as a girl with curly brown hair was coming towards her, the girl who had nearly caught her earlier. The girl had already noticed her and was asking her if she belonged to the group in tge clearing, so it was too late to try and blend in with the shadows. Heart racing and adrenilin pumping the scream of pain that came next didnt help with Mellz scattered nerves.
The burnet in front of her of her turned to leave groaning at the shouting that quickly followed the scream. Then she turned back to Mellz asking for her name and telling her that they better find out if they can help.
Nodding Mellz stammered, "I-I'm M-mellz... A-and I'm not with them... I dont think I-I've seen them before now..."
She took a hesitant step towards the clearing though.it was against her better judgement.

The woman still held Ava's arm by an odd angle but she looked over at what this new man was doing and when she saw that he held a knife to her brother's neck, she grew enraged and feared for his life. "Let him go first" the woman growled as she twisted Ava's arm some more.

Ava let out another scream and felt like the woman was going to pull her arm off. "Oh please just let me go. I'm sorry for calling you stupid but how did me saying one word cause all this" Ava begged, her face covered in tears and her voice was pain filled.

The woman just turned and glared at Ava. "This isn't just because of you calling us stupid. I was going to attack you anyways" and as soon as the woman said that, a howl sounded and then the sound of a lot of people running came from the forest. "Maybe I'll call them off, if you let go of my brother and maybe I'll go of your little friend here" the woman suggested, her voice sounded believable but all skins were tricky when making deals. Her eyes turned to slits as she dung claws into Ava's already pretty damaged arm.

Ava held in her scream this time by biting her lip but that filled her mouth with her blood.

Silver heard a scream but it was too far away to recognize so she kept looking for any signs of Dani. "Dan-" but Silver's sentence was interrupted by her tripping over a dead werewolf. Once Silver had her footing again, she looked around and noticed a lot of other dead bodies. "Hmph, someone had their hands full" Silver muttered as she studied all the bodies and counted about 30. "Danielle, you still alive?" Silver shouted into the woods but only got the sounds of an owl. "This is going to take longer than I thought" Silver mumbled as she frowned and continued looking.

Josh had been frozen to his spot when he had heard Ava's scream and saw what the woman was doing to her. He knew he had to do something but he didn't know what. He had his guns but he was scared he had forgotten how to use one and even if he did his hands were shaking so much he probably wouldn't even hit the woman. "I'm useless" Josh muttered as he stared helplessly at the scene not to far away from him.

((Sorry best I could for short notice. Sorry if it's confusing.

Jake was angry by now. His eyes narrowed darkly at the woman in front of him as she cackled about letting loose an army of supernaturals on them. By the sounds of many bushes rustling in the distance, he could tell that she wasn't bluffing. He inhaled to calm his nerves and focused in on the situation standing before him.

"Sorry, but I don't make those kinds of deals." He stated bluntly to the woman.

The hand holding a fistful of the boy's locks released him abruptly; just enough so that the boy's head fell to its normal position, before Jake violently kicked the back of the boy's knee cap in. There was a painful cracking of bones only heard among the four of them as he did. Before the young boy could fall to the ground in pain, Jake grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him back up.

He looked the woman in the eyes as he spoke his next words.

"I can play just as dirty as you. Before you even THINK about hurting that girl again, you should consider the consequence for your actions. Anything you inflict on her, I will inflict ten-fold on him." Jake seethed out through clenched teeth.

"Now that we understand each other," He continued, "Here's a deal /I/ propose. I'm going to count to three. On three, you will push that young lady to me and I will push your dear brother to you. The deal will be finished when the hostages have hit the arms of the dealers. After that, it's fair game. Comprende?"

Adrenaline was pumping through his veins and he swallowed a growing lump in his throat. It didn't matter what her answer was. Jake /knew/ she was going to take it. It was the best deal on the table and anyone from a mile away could see it.

So he spoke out the three words that would end this little situation.

"One...Two...Three!"

@kurochi-akuma Oops! I took too long to post! I meant for mine to be before yours. Haha
THIS IS SO INTENSE!!!!!! XD

Alerted by the scream Adalynn shifted her gaze to where the cars were parked. Her eyes narrowed on the two morphs that had entered the clearing. A girl was being pinned to the side of one of the parked vehicles, her arm skewed at an odd angle. The other skin was trapped beneath the man from earlier. Faintly, she could hear the negotiations that seemed to be going on between the two parties. The girl shrieked again.

Although she had no personal interest in the matter, Adalynn inched closer carefully hoping to catch some of the details of the conversation. She pocketed her gun, knowing full well that at this distance, she didn't have the skill necessary to take out the morph without risking the girl's life.

"Oh please just let me go. I'm sorry for calling you stupid! How did me saying one word cause all this?" Adalynn heard the girl cry as she got closer. She was only a few feet away now and she made a silent plea that her presence would go unnoticed by the morphs. An audible howl then tore through the forest and Adalynn gasped silently as the edge of the clearing flooded with other supernaturals.

"Maybe I'll call them off, if you let go of my brother and maybe I'll let go of your little friend here" The skin said plainly, she obviously had the upper hand. She sounded like she was being honest but, Adalynn didn't like the way she said maybe.

Hallie's limbs started to ache after crouching for a while, so she decided to sit pretzel style on the bottom of the bed. From her position, she could see across the whole clearing and watched as the undergrowth shifted; also hearing the many footsteps that followed. Then, after the noises quieted down, Jake kicked the young shapeshifter. The boy showed a painful expression as Jake picked him back up off the ground. Hallie was close enough to the other truck to hear the next words that he spoke. As she stared intently at the growing situation, she could she a girl inching closer to it through her peripheral vision. "One...Two...Three!" were the three words that made Hallie focus back on the situation that played before her.

Evan nodded as she explained her short story of how her little chase was because of one shot. He stared down at the hand of the women whom stated her name as Danielle and hesitated momentarily. He shook hands in greet and released shortly after.
Evan slightly chuckled at the theory of his skills being natural and replied "Hah, no. I had...some practice." He paused "And, the name's Evan."

The women seemed friendly but he wasn't sure if he could trust her. She seemed slightly older than himself so she might have more experience.

Evan suddenly remembered after shooting all those supernaturals, he's all out of bullets. He didn't want to state that fact out loud for there could be anyone listening. If they find him defenseless, he could easily be killed. Maybe he should stick with Danielle, but she could turn on him any moment. Evan stood but then took a small step back.

Day was snap out of her thoughts from a familiar screech. She quietly stepped around the trucks to see Ava being pinned by her arm. Day noticed the bleeding lip and the anonymous women pushing her arm in an painful angle. One male held a boy hostage and quickly cracked his knee cap.

Besides the scene going on in front, Day felt the hair on the back of her neck stand up. Sounds of presence were approaching the clearing and so Day gripped her small pistol tighter. It wasn't her greatest choice to fight with since she fails in long distance aiming. She mentally hoped for the best and prepared herself.

The woman growled at the man's deal but when he started counting she quickly but rudely shoved Ava towards the man. "You will regret this later" the woman growled as she glared at the man.

Ava felt herself being shoved and she hardly had time to realize it before she fell down onto her bad arm. She let out a muffled scream and she tried her best to sit up with her good arm.

Silver continued on and she heard voices. She quickly recognized one of the voices as Danielle and she ran in the direction. Once she saw Danielle, she wanted to hug her and cry but she saw a boy with her and she decided to be professional. "So this is where you've been hiding, Dani?" Silver stated, a smile on her face.

Danielle noticed the boy take a step back from her and before she could tell him, she meant no threat, she heard a familiar voice. When she looked up and saw Silver, she nearly jumped for joy. "Yeah, I have been hiding with this boy here. He's name is Evan" Danielle exclaimed as she gave Silver a big smile. Then she couldn't help it anymore and she ran towards Silver and took her in her arms. "July, I thought I really was going to die but Evan saved me" Danielle muttered as she squeezed Silver tightly.

Silver returned Danielle's hug and then pulled away to look at Evan. "Hey, I'm July but people know me as Silver" Silver told Evan as she gave him a friendly smile.

Josh saw that the woman had finally let go of Ava and before he knew what he was doing he was running towards her. He saw her struggling to sit up and helped her. "How's the arm?" Josh asked, to scared to actually look at her arm.

Ava rolled her eyes at Josh but he let her help her sit up. "Well my arm feels like it was run over by a train, then nailed to a wall, then pulled off and put back on" Ava replied, her voice pain filled and tired.

"I guess no doctor could fix your arm if it feels that bad" Josh stated as he helped Ava stand.

"Thanks for the reassurance" Ava muttered as she tried her best to shove Josh away with her good arm.

Still watching, Hallie saw the woman push the girl back rather roughly. The girl, who was now on the ground, let out a muffled scream; trying to hide her pain. Jake hadn't given the boy back to the woman, so the deal wasn't sealed yet. And therefore, she couldn't get out of the back of the pick up truck. As she impatiently waited, Hallie tried to make time pass by inspecting the blades of her knives. But time wasn't going any faster.

@poe Here's your chance cuz all heck is about to breack lose!!! 😈

The woman grew frustrated as she stood and watched the man still holding her brother. "We had a deal. If you don't let him go now, I will make sure my people will rip ever one of your people apart and let you watch" The woman growled as she clenched her fists and glared at the man before her.

The woman's people were now right on the hunters and recruits. The hunters' choices were fight or be killed. The woman's people burst through the forest and charged at the group. "Be prepared for blood" a werewolf man yelled/howled as he shifted into a wolf and charged at a defenseless hunter.

Ava used her good arm to pull Josh to her and she whispered in his ear. "You now have to fight. Be brave and don't think of anyone as once being human. Just kill" as Ava whispered the words she realized they were her sister's words, they were told to Ava on her first hunt. Ava pushed Josh away before she grabbed her shotgun from her back and handed it to Josh. "We're switching weapons. Now give me a pistol" Ava muttered, knowing she could only use her shotgun with two hands.

Josh nodded at Ava's words of "encouragement", if you could call it that. He was hesitant to give up one of his pistols but he knew how to use a shotgun and knew Ava needed to protect herself so he quickly handed her a pistol and then concentrated on what was ahead. Josh scanned the Supernaturals that were attacking them. He aimed for a skin that was prowling up on a hunter who was fighting a werewolf. Josh fired and the bullet grazed the skin of the skin's head. The skin's eyes flashed before it looked up and met Josh's eyes. Josh inhaled and felt his eyes shine with fear but he soon exhaled as Ava's words hit his ears again. Josh took aim again as he watched the skin begin to run at him. Josh closed one eye, took a deep breath and then fired. The bullet lodging into the skin's skull before the skin collapsed to the ground. "Nice shot, Josh" Josh heard a female voice state from behind him. Josh turned and saw Ava give him a smile before she went back to shooting random Supernaturals.

((Will do! Hopefully this is okay.))

Vincent stared out the window of the car with his head leaning against it. Being injured left him even more bored out of his mind than usual, and being bored made him irritable. Unfortunately for him, the medic he sat next to in the car was astounding leaps and bounds past him in temperament. These facts resulted in a quiet car ride. The guy next to him commented on how small this town was that they had just hit the exit of.

"Yeah, it's pretty small. I've actually been there before..." Vincent muttered.

"Lots of forest around it." The medic said, eyes on the road.

"There are some nasty things there. Good hunting, though." Vincent replied ambiguously.

It was then he noticed the black trucks coming up near the edge of the road. Quickly, he rolled the window down to listen. The sound of a wolf howling met his ears faintly over the sounds of the cars on the road, some gunshots, too. That was all Vincent needed to know. Injured or not, he was getting out.

"Stop the car. Now." Vincent demanded, and the urgency of his tone must have conveyed the importance, because the medic stopped.

"What the -" He began, but as soon as the car lurched to a halt, Vincent flung the door open and stumbled out.

"Keep driving. Thanks for the ride and patching me up, eh?" He called as he began running. Vincent had nothing but what was on his person to take from the car. Not that any of it mattered but his hook swords.

The medic had managed a swift change in acceleration, so Vincent found he was very close to the black trucks. Instead of running straight to them, he dove into the trees to fight. No need to keep clean; Vincent was covered in filth already. His yellow shirt was hardly yellow anymore. Once in the trees, he could see just how many skins were running around here. The sight was grim, but Vincent took it in stride. All he could do was fight until he couldn't anymore.

His hook swords were ever reliable, still sharp and slicing through flesh as they should. In Vincent's hands, they were one of the deadliest weapons a hunter could have. Coordinated swings of the swords kept the skins from getting in many swipes. He kept around the back of the group of supernaturals, distracting plenty of them from the hunters Vincent knew they were after. Already, Vincent found himself tiring from dancing circles to avoid blows. He remembered, yet again, just how much he hated being injured.
