Endangered Species?

Sooo, I'm not completely sure what the deal is with endangered species. The EC site blog says that a species is no longer available in the Cave once it becomes endangered, but a lot of the entries in the Species Index for some of the endangered species says that the species is still available in the Cave.

For example: http://eggcave.com/archives/view/krah

In the Krah's entry, it's noted that the species is endangered, but it says that they can still be obtained from the Cave.

Is it just me? I might be thinking too hard . . . .

@lilkeykey14

It -was- obtained from the cave, but it's not available anymore, at least for now.

Quite honestly, the might as well just put retired. I didn't really understand why it's labeled as 'endangered.'

Maybe they'll bring it back in the future (I hope). Q_Q

It doesn't say they are still available that I can see. But it does state from what time they had been available and where they had been able to be obtained when they were available.

And them being endangered means they aren't available anymore in the cave. I don't know if they'll be brought back but as they said they won't rerelease anymore, I don't think they'll be brought back :c

Just wanted to add in here (in case anyone digs this topic up later and wants an answer) that the recently added Leila Oasis is *supposed* to very rarely have "Endangered" eggs in it. Therefore, it would seem that this was a planned thing, the endangered versus retired categorization. I personally have yet to find anything there, so I hope your luck is better than mine. =)
