Okay so, I think Egg Cave should at least have Authentic Artistic Badges for their artists. I think they should be rewarded for giving us the beautiful art work we see around here on the site, not only by cash, but by something a bit more meaningful. These badges or stamps can be placed somewhere on their profile. This will also make it easier for users such as myself, and everyone else to find artists that's willing to lend a hand when needed. "Please note that this badge will not, and should not be for everyone, this will specifically be for users that was officially hired as a artist here on Egg Cave."If you have any ideas to helpbetter this suggestion, please comment.Pings@bot@poof@mastergemma@dragonnn

@fakeworldWould this include user suggestion artists that get their designs chosen? Or would that be a separate badge?I like this idea, the mods have their shield and the artists could have a blue shield?! XD But then if it included Creature suggestion artists it shouldn't be a shield hmmm... but then that would be if it included them

@mastergemma I don't think they should be included, because they wouldn't be officially hired artists. If they was to be included I wouldn't have a problem with it though. And I don't think they should have a shield of any kind next to their name lol, we should just leave the shields to the staff. That might create confusion with-in the new users who aren't familiar with what indicates someone as a "moderator".

Just an idea. Maybe some sort of egg on the profile instead? @fakeworld
werewolf • 12 July 2014 at 10:46 AM
@fakeworld maybe all egg cave artists could have a paint brush or palette instead of blue person like the mods have a sheild
fakeworld • 12 July 2014 at 1:25 PM
@werewolf Well that would be pretty creative šø
mastergemma • 12 July 2014 at 9:24 PM
Why did I think of the Neopet's paint brush design when you said that XD@werewolf

@fakeworld I think this is a great idea! But what about artists that don't join Eggcave?
dragonnn • 13 July 2014 at 6:05 PM
@fakeworldThat'd be a cool thing to see actually. But some artists may not want the attention or feedback, regardless if it is positive or negative. Like many things, they should be able to choose if others can see that they were artists of EggCave or not. Also, I'd like to see those who have had their creature suggestions made have some sort of symbol, like and egg on their page or replacing the little person symbol next to their usernames. That'd be cool. I love seeing creature suggestions and finding out who made them. Maybe a badge with a headshot of their finalized creature or something. As for a symbol for the artists, I don't know. Palette boards and paintbrushes are cool and relevant, but I wanna see something less common.

@dragonnn I honestly wasn't thinking about that. I love how you're thinking, and users are already credited when one of their creature suggestions are created.
dragonnn • 13 July 2014 at 7:21 PM
@fakeworldOh, right! In the archives, of course. 'Guess I just wanna see more images, hee.Thanks.

@fakeworld I would love to see this happen.I agree with @dragonnn about palettes and paintbrushes being common, though they are easily recognizable.

@fakeworld Nice idea š
wolffey • 29 August 2015 at 5:53 AM
@fakeworld And also I think it would be a good idea for the artist to be mentioned in the archives, like who drew them not just who wrote the description and made the suggestion.
