After Iceheart was sure the apprentices didn't need anything, he walked back over to Cloudy and Bonepaw. "She walked back here with Splitwater I'm pretty sure, so Splitwater probably told her who she needs to talk to." He said to Bonepaw. "Probably somewhere over by the warriors den." He said to Cloudy.

Robinwing stared the cat in the eye. "You're on FlareClan territory." She growled in a deep and menacing voice.

Iceheart looked at Bonepaw, surprised. "I was helping out. Instead of growling at me, you should thank me." He said calmly. He glanced over at Waspclaw and just barely shook his head.

I sighed, Bonepaw could be so snappy sometimes. I headed into the medicine den to sort some herbs.

Iceheart lowered his voice and looked at Bonepaw very seriously. "You need to learn to control your temper. This is no way to speak to another cat." Silently, he padded off to see if Waspclaw needed any help.

I snarled at Iceheart, wishing I could slash my claws across his face. "There you go again!" I hissed as I called after him, "Getting in other cats fur!" I growled, then turned to Cloudy, "I better warn you about him, he is a nosy little fox-dung. If you join the clan, you'll have to get used to him always being in your fur." I meowed.

Bonepaws words stung Iceheart. He turned around and padded back towards Bonepaw. "I am not a fox-dung and I'm not nosy! I just happen to like helping people! And if you have a problem with that you could just politely say I don't need your help but thanks anyway or something along the lines of that!" Out of breath, Iceheart turned around and stalked towards the medicine cat den. "Do you need any help Waspclaw?" He asked, poking his nose into the den. It smelt like herbs.

"Sure." I purred, "Some berries have fell into my spot for Catmint, it would be a great help if you toke them out and sorted them by color for me."

"Sure thing." Iceheart then set to work, sorting the berries and picking them out of the catmint spot. "Bonepaw obviously has a crush on that new cat, and it's kinda turning him into a jerk." Iceheart commented absent-mindedly. Suddenly his head filled with thoughts of the new cat and his heart felt like it was going to jump out of his chest. What was wrong with him?

"Bonepaw's always been a jerk, but I cant blame him. His father never spent anytime with him or even talked to him after his mom died when he was only a kit. I wonder were his father went, he's been missing for moons now." I meowed, sorting the lavender from the horsetail.

I turned to Bonepaw. "Why don't you and Stagheart go on a patrol with Tallcavern?" I snapped. I found Viperfang and nudged her into the medicine den, then did the same for Cloudy, hoping to get them to talk.

{Tallcavern}
I paced around camp, but jerked my head up at mention of my name. I bounded over to where Bonepaw and Splitwater had talked.
Stagheart was right behind me.

{Ravenpaw}
I entered the camp, herbs clamped in my jaws. I entered the medicine den to find it cramped full of cats. I pushed myself into the corner and sat there, thankful for my small size as the cave seemed to shrink.

{Viperfang}
"Waspclaw, why don't we leave Ravenpaw and Iceheart to sort herbs and we take Cloudy to the apprentices den to talk?" I suggested naming the least crowded den in the camp.

{Blazeheart}
I fixed Robinwing with a fierce glare. "You are to leave the kit alone." I snarled. "He hasn't crossed the border yet, and if he does he's still a kit. You have no right to threaten one."
I walked away. "Remember kits are the future. We're supposed to be finding Oakfoot not threatening kits."

Robinwing looked at Blazeheart. "I guess you're right." She sighed. She looked back over to the kit. "I'm sorry for threatening you, but be warned, if you cross the border intentionaly…." She then stalked off after Blazeheart. "So…. maybe I could climb a tree, get a good vantage point and then look around and see if there's anything that looks like a shelter." She suggested.

Iceheart nodded at Ravenpaw in greeting and continued to sort the herbs.

Skypaw looked around camp, her ear flicked as she heard cats share tongues. She was looking for her brother, Thornpelt. Skypaw padded around camp and peeked into the Warrior's den. She glanced around as her head poked through the entrance. He wasn't there. Skypaw was curious, and she continued to walk around camp looking for him.

@Featherstar_Stormclan May I ask who Skypaw's mentor is?"

Iceheart continued sorting herbs. "So, do you think that cat is going to get accepted into camp?" He asked Ravenpaw. He hated to admit it, but he really hoped she did.

Robinwing stopped and turned to look at the kit. "Blazeheart? Should we bring him back to camp? He does look malnourished and he could be sick." She said matter of factly. The kit was very skinny and it's fur didn't look very clean.

I nodded slowly observing the cat. "Well if you were lonely you could have easily gone to a two-leg nest and became a kittypet, or possible you could have joined one of the four bordering Clans here.
"You could have joined a tribe or a rogue pack, why come to FlareClan?"

{Blazeheart}
"If you want we can take the kit with us, and when we find Oakfoot we'll head back to camp. But we can't leave our leader out there." I meowed, as I continued walking.

{Tallcavern}
I turned to Bonepaw, my gaze cold as Stagheart bounded up behind me.
"Now we're ready to go, you need to learn patience Bonepaw." I snapped before leading the way out of camp.

"Yes, of course." Robinwing turned back to the kit. "You said your name was Splatch?" She asked. "Come with us, you will come with us back to camp when we are finished searching for our leader Oakfoot." She continued to walk slowly after Blazeheart, giving the kit an opprotunity to catch up.

Skypaw then padded to the Elders' Den and saw a blackish brown spiky figure inside. She jumped with joy and swiftly ran inside. Thornpelt heard someone coming inside, and he turned his head behind him. He saw Skypaw bouncing towards him.
"Thornpelt!" Skypaw smiled, "I was looking for you!"
"I was here all along, listening to the stories the elders have to share," Thornpelt replied, "when I was a kit or apprentice, I didn't spend much time listening to the elders talk, so here I am."
Skypaw nodded and sat beside Thornpelt as an elder told her a story about Flareclan's past.

Ignoring the comment about toms mooning over she said, "First of all, I`d run into a wolf`s den before I became a kittypet, and FireClan ran me out so I don`t trust any of the Clans except this one. I`m very good at hunting and fighting, but you`ll have to wait on the kit part. I just got her!"

"Thanks, whatever-your-name-is!" I said and skipped happily after them. "Who are we searching for?"

"My name is Robinwing, and this is Blazeheart. Our leader Oakfoot has been missing for some time now, so we're looking for him, because Blazeheart is not ready to take on the role of leader yet." Robinwing said. The kit was actually very sweet. He looked very happy now that they were taking him along. She smiled. Despite her moodiness earlier, this was turning out to be a great day.

I narrowed my eyes at Bonepaw. "I believe that being the more experienced cat puts me in charge of this patrol. And the fact that when Blazeheart assigned us asked me to lead it." I growled, before cuffing the tom over his head. Hard.

"Don't worry, we understand about kits. I meowed, and I think you have the makings for a good Clan cat, although the final decision is ultimately up to Blazeheart when he returns to camp."

My ear stung, /She hit me!/ I thought to myself, that was it, I snapped. Using my front paws, I knocked Tallcavern to the ground, then kicked sand in her eyes and ran, ran as far as I could from the patrol.

Iceheart heard a thud. He looked over to Ravenpaw. "I'm gonna go see what that was." He rushed out of the medicine cat den. What he saw surprised him very much. Bonepaw was attacking Tallcavern! Thinking quickly, Iceheart rushed in and pinned Bonepaw to the ground. "What do you think you're doing?" He growled angrily. "Attacking the leader of the patrol? Questioning his orders?" He narrowed his eyes. He then turned to Tallcavern, while still pinning Bonepaw down. "Are you alright?" He asked.

Robinwing happily walked after Blazeheart with the kit. "So where do you think we'd be most likely to find him?" She asked.

I hissed as Iceheart pinned me down before I could run away, "Just leave me alone!" I hissed, kicking him off of me with my powerful hind-legs. As soon as he was throw off, I ran into the forest, not sure where I was going, I was just running. After I was sure I was far away, I looked around, luckly, I was still in FlareClan land, then I smelled something, it smelled like, sickness. I looked around and what I saw shocked me, Dovekit and Tigerkit laying on the ground, still. I stood there, not sure what to do, I did not want to go back to the Clan right now, I needed some time alone, but I had to tell someone what I saw, /I'll get Iceheart to come here, then make a run for it, he'll take care of the kits/ "Iceheart!" I yowled as loud as I could, hoping he could hear me.

Iceheart slammed into the cave wall as Bonepaw threw him off. He sure was strong for an apprentice. He watched as Bonepaw ran off into the forest and felt the urge to run after him. 'He needs some time alone.' He told himself, shaking off the dust form the cave wall. Suddenly he heard a faint voice carried on the wind through the cave mouth. He ran in the directiong of its origin.

Robinwing stopped. Something didn't smell right. She smelt Bonepaw, kits, and sickness. "Blazeheart." She said, stopping in her tracks. "Do you smell that?"
