Personal Shops?

I have an idea that I think would be pretty cool. c:

You could make your own shop, and the link to your shop would be around the place where your friends list and recent posts/topics are.


The concept is pretty simple. You use your items and you can place them up for any price. Then, if someone passes by and checks out your shop, they could buy the item, lol

You could put up any item at all, travels, food, toys, books, creatures, etc.

Even if you aren't online the transaction is automatically made.

*You could also, maybe, decorate the shop, somehow? xD I don't know, something simple that won't put too much strain on our artists.


Let me know if you think this is a good or bad idea, feedback and constructive criticism are always welcome. xD

I think it would be neat, but maybe there should be something like a limit price for selling or you have to rent your store for an amount of EC each day r week so that it makes the game a bit more challenging. Otherwise I think it would be a great idea.

@despair I like this idea. There's so many places to trade, Trading Center for creatures, don't really like because nobody really checks out your lots unless it's in the latest 15. My lots will stay in there for weeks. Items Center for items, still nobody really checks out your lots unless it's in the latest 15. And Creature Auctions for auctioning creatures, where you have to pick a time for it to end but people wait for the last minute to make a low bid and get it for a low price. I like this, just one place, no time you have to set, I think more people will look at your UFT stuff, and you pick the price you want it at, so no arguing over prices or having it sold for an unfair price. But would there be a limit on how much stuff you have in there? Because I have dozens of travels and the Items Center only lets you put in 12 I think. So if I wanted to put all my travels in my shop...

There would probably have to be some sort of limitation, but the number of stuff you could put in there would be pretty high.

Sure, you can use a thread as a shop, but it'd be easier to have a built-in system to keep your inventory. Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids.

Similar to Neopets? I like it!
But the eggcave community does have something similar, as rainbow (I think) is getting at. People have created their own forum threads which makes the idea unneeded.

This would only work if you want to sell travels/items though as there's already a creature auctions

Thanks for the healthy input. The main reason I like this idea is for the decorating feature, a place where I could express myself. Taking it a step beyond expressing yourself with creature and travel combination.

@hippy Not to be rude, but in those forums (not really 'those' but the trading forum) they can make topics where they sell things, manually.

@rainbowrocks Don't go giving wrong information. I've never seen anybody open a shop in the general forum. Also, no need to be so rude. It only leads to enemies, and it would be nice to sell stuff automatically instead of doing it manually.

Not rude at all. Thats what I mean, its manually. People want personal shops to work like most pet sites where you can stock/quick stock and put prices and have an inventory of the items you're selling, instead of doing bulk trading/selling manually. Its quite a hassle.
