*Trapped in a Dream* ~Role-Play~

{Intro}
You were living a decent life, you were kept fed and had money, but nothing was ever the best. At least not until the day everything changed.
The life you once lived was destroyed, ripped from your grasp as you were tossed into a deep sleep. But this sleep wasn't normal. Not one bit.
You are fully aware of everything as you dream, you can feel pain, you can die. But to every downside there's some good. You have now gained the ability to turn into an animal and a single power-related to the animal-one that you can use to shape your life, the way you want.
But all you want to do is go back to your life. That's it, you didn't want this life.
You never wanted to be trapped in a dream.

{Rules}
-No god-modding
-No sues
-Be literate. No tlkng lke dis m8. It hrts me i's.
-Have fun
-No major plot lines without my consent
-Only 1 character per person, for now.
-Keep gender even
-Put your characters theme song in code if you have read and understood the rules.
-No sue powers
-You can shift into only one animal.
-The sample RP should be their life up until they are hit by unconsciousness. Once they blackout it has to end, for the RP starts when they wake up.

{Plot}
You were thrown into a coma and have awakened in a dream realm where things seem peaceful. You discovered you can change your shape into your spirit animal, and sometimes that's the only way to traverse the realm.
With the shape-changing you find that you have one ability, based on your animal.
You meet others soon after, and with them you try to figure out the way back to awakening.

{This begins with you waking up, alone in the forest. You can hear others but are unable to see them. The time is approximately three thirty in the afternoon.}

Everything was black, the pressure I had once felt on my chest was slowly lessening, and I saw faint flows flicker over my eye lids. The glow grew brighter as the darkness faded, and I pulled open my eyes and blinked a few times adjusting to the bright light, slanting at an angle into the forest I now lay.
I pulled myself into a sitting position, and sat up against a tree my head throbbing with each beat of my heart. I flicked my eyes around looking for someone I could speak to but saw nothing. I sighed and lay there half-closing my eyes.

My breaths slowly became steady, and my eyes cracked open. "What...?" I whispered, trying to prop myself up using my elbows, to no avail. Every part of my body ached, and I collapsed in a heap. Was there nobody to help me? Through the tall trees, sunlight shone in and warmed me. "Where am I?" I questioned myself, looking around. Rustling sounds were heard and my eyes lit up. "Is anybody out there?" I yelled, crawling behind a boulder. It shifted slightly, and I ran away, footsteps padding along the tall grass.

I woke up and rubbed my eyes only to find myself lying in dirt. "Geez where am I?" I thought to myself. I stood up, I was in some strange forest. Why the heck am I here?

I lay on what felt like grass. My eyes closed, the breeze danced around me and cuddled me in a frozen way, I opened my eyes and looked around me. I was in a forest. What? Shaking my head, I felt my ears. Oh no. Fox ears. I looked at myself and saw white fur coating my body. I had white paws and a really bushy tail. Frightened, I curled into a ball and waited for someone to tell me what is going on.

Holy crap! Where am I? I think to myself as i look around. It's all too peaceful around here. I've trained myself that quiet and peaceful is bad. I search frantically around to find supplies to survive and also to find someone. I keep hearing voices in the distance. I try to shout out, but nothing comes out. What? I glance into a small puddle and see a black panther. Something black flashes behind me. A tail. Oh right, the stupid ad transformation. I keep exploring around, but I stay near the puddle. As a panther I guess I can drink from the it. I try to change back into a human. It works! only I'm wearing a black hoodie with dark jeans. There is also a bow and arrow on my shoulder. I pull it from my shoulder and start practicing. Suprisingly, I'm good. Like really good.

I heard voices nearby and opening my eyes and glancing around. /Nothing, what's going on?\ I thought as I stood up.
-"Is anybody there?"- Someone had called.
I looked around following the sound of hte voice in time to see a head of a girl running away from a boulder.
"Hello?" I called out, my voice hoarse and cracking. Sounding almost artificial in this strange forest. I cleared my throat and tried to speak again, this time succeeding in getting out a better sound.
"Who are you? Why are you running?" I called hoping the girl could hear me.

Kay woke up to find himself surrounded in murky blueness. He felt like he was floating in..water? He thought immediately about breathing and tried to swim to the light. After a struggle to learn how to swim in 5 seconds he realized that he could breath underwater. What. Is. Happening. He saw tentacles in the edge of his vision.

He took a moment to take in the fact he was an octopus. He was an octopus. Kay Anders. An octopus. The bizarreness of the situation made him completely numb. He had always loved marine life, but this, this was something he would dream about. It clicked. That's it. It's a dream.

@featherstar_stormclan (I figure you'll see this even if I don't ping you. I feel like everyone should just subscribe to the topic and we should only ping people our posts are directly relevant to. For example, if Agni talks to someone, I would only ping who he specifically is talking to. Or something. Just a suggestion derived from my laziness.)

Agni woke, thinking only of the fact that he was missing his test. He felt perturbed about the whole thing, then let it go with a deep sigh. With that movement, he noticed that only his chest and stomach had the pressure of support below; the rest of him was dangling in the air.

Carefully, Agni took in his immediate surroundings and came to the realization that he was laying over two tree branches. How had he gotten into a tree?

Pushing the thought aside for now, Agni pulled himself into a comfortable sitting position to observe what else was around. Past the rest of the tree, Agni could see the branch he was on was a couple meters above a body of water. He didn't trust it. There was something moving beneath the surface, but the water wasn't clear enough for him to tell what.

He lounged in the branch, waiting and watching, and deciding what to do next.

A voice replies to my question. "Who are you? Why are you running?" it says. This urges me to keep going from whatever is out there from getting me.

My foot catches on a root and I fall forwards, getting tangled in the hanging roots of a tree. It wraps around my wrists and ankles and as I struggle more and more, it slowly scrapes them raw. "Help!" I shout. "Anybody - please! I'm stuck!"

As I lay, I heard voices. Getting up, I felt peculiar. Finding out I was a white fox isone thing. But finding I had wings was another! Flapping, I flew up a bit and settled back down. The voices were getting louder. I curled into a ball just as someone arrived. Shivering, I fell scilent.

As I walk around, I see a small white ball-shaped thing. I grab a stick and poke it. Not exactly the best thing to do but I should be ok. I am a panther thing, after all.

He pondered about his situation. He had never been in a dream where he realized he was in a dream. He continued toward the surface as he thought about what happened right before he "woke up" in dreamland. He paused. He never falls asleep in class, especially science. And when he supposedly fell asleep he had only closed his eyes for a while. This was definitely not a normal sleep.

He poked his head up out of the water slowly.

The white ball doesn't move so I decide to move on. A noise comes from a pool somewhere to my right. I creep up to it and see an octopus. "Ok," I tell myself out loud," maybe this isn't real, maybe it's a dream. Yeah it's a dream. I start to panic and turn into my panther. Yowling around, I sprint crazily out of fear, hitting myself against trees and thorns, ignoring the pain.

I poked my nose out to see a black panther walking away. I must have rustled because he turned around. I froze. There was no reason to lie down any more so I stood up and said, "Erm...hello? I am Ivory and there has to be some wayI can get home?"I ask the panther.

" I laughed uncertainly as I stared into those blue eyes. Smiling, I felt safer now with this new friend. Not because he was a big panther. But because he was who I always wanted to meet.

"Well, apparently there's an octopus in a freshwater pool which is impossible, so it's confirmed that it is a dream." Why am i so nervous? I never talk so fast. "So, you think there is anyone else?" I stare into her eyes for too long and I then realize what I am doing. I look away, embarrassed. "My name is Kolby by the way."

I blush. "Im Ivory. And so far the only thing I have found is a bird that tried to eat me. Perfect welcome. So you want to go see the octopus?" Oh oh. Babbling again. I blushed really red and looked away. What was happening? Me, the rulebreaker and leader was loosing her cool? So not normal. I know what my friend Carly would say though, "I thing Ivory is in Lurve!"

"Sure" by now I've noticed that she's nervous. Maybe she likes me? I sometimes do that to other girls, but they don't ever go too much, like this. I turn into my human and hope she doesn't freak out from liking me too much. "Ok, let's go."

Suddenly, I notice he's self conscious. I nervously follow him. Looking forwards, I admire the woods. They seem to glisten with a kind of magic. I try very hard not to skip but walk with Kolby.

After about an hour of wandering around I finally see something besides trees. Hear voices again. I must be crazy... Then I hear someone screaming "O-oc-octopus!!!" I really need my ears checked...
