It only takes a few refreshes to go through the whole list. It struck me that perhaps it's not as effective when fewer creatures are on it. It's harder to earn XC. It really is such a wonderful, efficient way of gaining clicks. If only more people used it.

@valkeyrieI don't think no one would be able to answer this question, due to the fact that there's no way of finding out. I just think the Click Exchange should be advertised a little more, especially to new users, as they are always curious of how to go about when it comes to evolving their creatures.
valkeyrie • 21 September 2014 at 8:56 AM
@fakeworld True. I think we should be encouraging new users to use it. Maybe once it's been around a while there'll be more people using it.

I've definitely been using it every day, and yeah, I've been disappointed there aren't more people participating. It's hard to keep creatures in the click exchange when we only have 20, 30, 40 XC at a time because that's all the XC we can gain.

@valkeyrie @nomadic I would use it every day but the fact that I'm barely on my laptop and it's not very tablet friendly puts me off. I love using it, but it's really bothersome to open like 50 tabs. Just opening them one by one is too slow.I stopped using it, but I do use it whenever I do have the chance and remember. It's just not that friendly to people with slow computers or tablet only users.

I use it everyday and in total, I would say I get around 150-200 XC on a good day when I have time to click. If I just click in the morning, I get around 90XC. I think newer users don't know much about it and maybe it just needs to be advertised a little more.

Maybe if it was included as part of the starter tutorial that you had to put one of your creatures in the click exchange. You can always take it out later if it's not for you, but at least they'd have experience with it and options.

I love love love the click exchange. Funny I should stumble upon this topic as I wondered the same thing as well. I'm so grateful for the massive amounts of clicks I received, but it is odd that I click through so many creatures in the morning then it's like dead the rest of the day lol. but overall, I'm very happy with this new addition to the egg cave!

@valkeyrieI normally have the tab open when ever I'm on the computer so it's open for several hours a day. As a result, I go and refresh when I think of it, which could be once a hour up to seven or eight times a hour. As a result I may only work up to "bank" about 10 XC, but it is a regular to constant amount. However, I've found that as I'm normally on around midnight to 4 am "Egg cave time", I hit the refresh time for feeds, so usually have heaps of creatures. I've always seen it as an "I only get out of it what I put into it" sort of enterprise. I may be in the minority, but I don't like to see my XC bank up to much, as it means my creatures are not getting clicked. To me, it's my main form of earning EC. I do the Ctrl-click thing to open several pages, then go through and feed the ones that do not specify that they only want clicks. I feel that there is less chance of accidentally feeding the wrong creature if they are in the Exchange, as opposed to randomly finding people, coves and eggs.

I'm now finding a lot more success in just keeping one creature in the XC at a time. I usually only run out of credits overnight. There simply isn't the volume there to support multiple creatures just yet.One set when I first get started in the day puts me at about 100 XC, and then I can add a few XC here and there through the day.

@valkeyrie Honestly, if they had a reward system with it, I think more users would use it. Like how they had it on EggCavern. I used to get 200-300 clicks a day compared to now with 100 or so.
valkeyrie • 30 September 2014 at 12:21 AM
@bubblez I unfortunately joined just after Egg Cavern quit. I keep seeing all this awesome content and help, but it's not up there any more. Such a shame. But yes, I think maybe once people start using it more we'll have more opportunity for clicks. And it really relies on having a lot of people, because most of us are only putting up one or two creatures at a time, otherwise the clicks are spread too thinly. How did it work on EggCavern?
mastergemma • 30 September 2014 at 12:21 AM
@bubblezI agree with that. Ahhh, the memories of 300 clicks ❤️ @valkeyrieI have seen quite a few newbies on the click exchange but if it is included in the introduction it would be awesome. Plus, the introduction should include a few more things in it. Like Tim's Food ShoppeI think that with the daily login, it should be a chance thing to get EC, a super rare chance at an endangered and some XC to help get more creatures staying on the exchange
valkeyrie • 30 September 2014 at 12:27 AM
@mastergemma Yes. I don't really use Tim's because I'm always paranoid about wasting resources on an unknown product. Maybe if it were included in the intro tutorial, I would actually get to know that site feature a little better. Interesting idea. That way, people who don't know the click exchange would be enticed into checking it out and the existing users would have an opportunity outside of the available clicks to keep their creatures in, which would in turn make more available for others. Neat.
