Should we limit views/clicks/feeds?

Recently, there's this (maybe more than one?) program that's been getting widespread use to gain views, clicks, and feeds.

I applaud users who use that and keep up with the program - it sounds very hard to do so.

However, I think there should be a maximum amount of views/clicks/feeds per month. I've seen this on other sites too (where they limit clicks per day).

Perhaps we could do 10,000 views/clicks/feeds.

Yes or no? Please vote and ping.

@trig - You don't gain stats through the Leaderboards. At least, I don't think. I guess you're referring to the Click Exchange.
You can limit the amount of feeds/clicks/views each creature you have in it yourself, when you're putting them in.

I think you're talking about the sites that help to gain views clicks and feeds?

I personally think that doesn't cause any problem, and I don't really care if I get the most clicks/feeds that month.

No, not limit the Click Exchange.

For example: If you get 7000 clicks per month, that's fine. But if you get the maximum of 10,000 clicks that month, anything over that would not be counted.

@trig
This would be unfair. Why limit the views, feeds or either clicks someome creature receives due to them earning a massive amount of stats?

@fakeworld

My argument is that nowadays, people can easily break into the LBs in a few weeks rather than years compared to other users.

In a sense, it's not very fair.

I can understand your perspective, but I wouldn't consider that unfair. It's just that we all have our own ways of earning stats, and some ways just aren't as effective as others.
