Heck yeah I like this ! Evil-looking creature suggestions are always awesome or so it seems. That being said however, I like the more cool-looking 3rd stage the best I think. Looking too smug ! The way I like it. Yeah, if this gets made, the majority of my cove will probably be Vigils even if they are CSPs. I have rl money to spend anyway~

But, yeah, I like this, a lot, and I hope it gets made.

I very much like the concept of this creature. It's fitting for the holiday season, and it's a great summary of its reference.

The art is amazing. I especially like the first stage. A little unfortunate for me that in this stage the Vigil is a bit difficult to be around, but I'll manage, haha.

It's second stage, understandably, has a lot going on in the image. It outshines the third stage this way, which is normally the image with the most detail when it comes to an evolutionary line. So that threw me off a bit, but again, the images line up with the description, so I'm not worried about it.

Very nice creature. You seemed to have fun with it. I'm glad. 😊

The name is fitting. Could use a bit more tweaking so it's a bit more unique, and belongs to the creature. Not just a word that exists in the dictionary. Can't think of anything right now, Vigile = vile and vigil, but it turns mellow towards the latter end of its life, so the name might not represent the creature as a whole.

Is it based on a specific animal species? Cat?

Thank you very much for such an elaborate reply! I'm glad to see you like it despise the last stage has less details than the second one! I suppose that, If it gets made, many would like to freeze it in 1st or 2nd stage anyways, like it happens for many other creatures. 😊
By the way, the name was kinda random. It's a word that doesn't exist, but it kinda comes from the italian word "vigilia", which means "eve", as the Vigil's eggs start to appear in the night of Christmas' eve. 😋

The first stage isn't that christmas like, though... the color does kinda remind me of a christmas tree.

The first stage is cute!!

Buuttt I think I like the second stage the best. It really represents christmas very well!!
