Whenever I visit the thief shop I get the no available eggs reply, maybe he is a thief, stealing 500k in promise of an egg and giving you nothing!

@emi804 Uh, You usually have to spend hours dedicated on refreshing the Thief Shop page (for me, 8 hours) and even if you find a Mystery Egg and purchase it may be fake or real, I mean it's a thief after all!But there is a chance for a real egg, (look at the above posts from you) but it's totally random (but the mods say that paying more EC increases the chance), but it won't be necessarily real egg!Hope this helps. đ
