Blackstripe licked Blackkit's coat. The kit had stopped puking up water after about five minutes of being back at camp and now sat in the grass, tired from the days events. Blackstripe heard his name mentioned a few times, so he trotted over. "What's wrong??" He asked, sitting down beside Frecklestar. " I in trouble??" He teased with a playful smile.

I was having some time to myself. I was ashamed. What had I done? I'd assisted in helping Freckelstar's kit be murdered, not knowing what I was actually doing. I knew that I should never have trusted that cat. Help him in exchange for his protection for my clan? That was probably the most stupid thing that I had ever done in my life. Then I heard voices. I peered ahead to see Rustfur with another handsome warrior. Ahh... Swiftpaw. Old friend. Like my brother. What was he doing with Rustfur? ...No way. Was he going to be mates with Rust? This was going to be interesting.

She padded in after a susessful hunt with Swiftfoot, and gave a sore glance at Blackstripe sitting over with Frecklestar. She had known him since they were kits. And she knew he would probably twist it into sounding like she had killed the kittypet, along with a thousand other inecint souls. That seemed to be his specialty. She dropped a vole in the kill pile.

"I can understand that, she always thought I was a bad guy. But I wont lie-" Blackstripe started, then held out his paw, a cut could be seen and the blood had already hardened over it. "- I had seen the dead kittypet a few minutes after it's death. I panicked and cut my paw on a sharp stone, I ignored the cut and pushed at the kittypet to see if it could still possibly be alive. That is why some of my blood could be found on it." He said with a sigh. "And I couldn't tell anyone because they'd assume that because I am a antisocial cat I would be guilty of killing the kittypet. Though... While I was panicking I did catch a familiar scent..."
