"Well, congratulations!" I smiled. "I think I'll have a rest now, goodnight!"
I padded towards a small grassy area and lay down. A few minutes later, just as I was about to drift off, something crashed against me.
"Ugh, be more soft, will you?" I muttered.
"I'm not here to sleep! Something's happened!"
My brother's urgent voice startled me. I leapt up and sped towards the source of the catastrophe. There were a circle of cats, their frightened eyes all on something horrific, no doubt. I strained my eyes to see what it was. Then I swore my blood stopped running. 2 dead kits. Lying there, like ragged dolls.
"FRECKLESTAR!" I yelled frantically. "Come, quickly!"

I was shaken terribly. If there was anything that scared me so much, it was the look of death.

I walked up to the crowd, I was horrified to see the poor kits.
"The poor things...," I seeped. I lowered my head, and I just felt like I lost my heart.
'Those could've been my kits,' I thought.

Blackstripe had disappeared about an hour ago, he quickly went to a dark part of the woods and duct into an abandoned Badger hole. A black cat with a scar crossed over her left eye stood before him, she bowed her head slightly. "Blackstar." She acknowledged. "Nightpelt." He said back. Eyes of at least another 12 cats stood behind her, reflecting yellow off the moonlight that seeped through the opening of the den. Nightpelt quickly went straight to the point. "When do we attack?" She said excitedly, there where low mutters of excitement from the cats in the background. "Soon..." He growled. Nightpelt had a sudden smirk across her face. "The kits from the prophecy have been... taken care of, just as you ordered. Except for the runt. I still don't understand why we didn't kill that one too. I think-" A sudden hiss escaped Blackstripes mouth. "You dare question my decisions?!" He growled deeply. A cat from the background walked cautiously forward, dropping a small kit, one who's eyes had yet to be opened. Blackstripe quickly picked the small white kit up and left the badger hole. He quickly ducked under a thorn bush, slightly scratching himself as he bounded back to the camp. "FRECKLESTAR" He screeched, hurrying to find her. He quickly found her and carefully put the kit down. "I found some rogues carrying off this kit. I fought them off and took the kit back. What's going on here?" He asked curiously.

I was still listening intently. But suddenly, something dragged me from behind. I tried to scream out, but a claw covered my mouth. I was dragged away. A claw raked across my face, and I was knocked unconscious.

I awoke to find myself in a dark clearing with bushes all around, as if to conceal something. I tried to sit up, but my face still stung from something being slashed across it.
"She's awake. Get her to talk," a voice ordered. Then a jet black cat with one blind eye slunk out of the shadows.
"Well, hello," she cooed. "We'll just have you answer a question, then you can go... peacefully."
I grew weary. "What, then? Hurry up, I would like to go," I said nervously.
"Oooh, got some nerve, do you?" she sneered. "Well... what do YOU know about Blackstripe? And his... let's say... little secret?"
Blackstripe had a secret?
"I... don't know what you're talking about," I said truthfully, though I already knew this was going to be hopeless.
"Don't even try to lie, kitty, now I'll repeat this again: What do you know about Blackstripe's secret?" she demanded. "Answer me!"
"I DON'T KNOW!" I screamed.

Blackstripe tilted his head slightly, walking in front of Frecklestar, blocking her path from the already disappeared Lotusflower." Of coarse I'd smell like badger, they reeked of the scent, it's no surprise some rubbed off onto me." He said, then made a believable petrified face. "You don't think I, your mate of all cats, would be a kit stealer! Do you have no trust in me?" He asked her sadly.

"This is your last warning. We will NOT let you go until you have answered our question. If you do not, there WILL be consequences," that female cat snarled. By now, I was starting to panic. Would they kill me if I didn't answer? I honestly did not know anything about Blackstripe! So I just did the first thing I thought of.
"FRECKLESTAR! ANYONE HELP!" I bellowed.

As soon as Frecklestar turned away, he raced to a short cut he knew of to find where Nightpelt had kept the she-cat. He growled as he entered the small clearing, it would take Frecklestar a good fifteen minutes to get there. He had time. The black she-cat quickly went into submission in his presence. "B-Blackstar, I was...um.... getting information...." Nightpelt said, lowering herself to the ground. "Once again you have disobeyed my orders, I am beginning to regret making you my lieutenant and mate." He said in a low voice. She stood up quickly to protest, but that only got a swift scratch across her muzzle, a little bit of blood trickled out. "Sometimes I question who's side your on." He spoke dangerously. Then turned his attention to Lotusflower. "Get out. Don't even try to tell anyone what you've seen here. If you wish to stay alive, that is." He hissed and then left, disappearing into the brush. Then arrived at camp as quickly as he'd left.

When I finally got to a clearing, I saw emptiness, I looked around, on the ground and the trees. I saw some blood on the ground, I smelled it. I smelled Blackheart. I growled.

My eyes widened in fear. I scampered away as fast as I could away from Blackstar and the she-cat. I hated myself for being a coward, but I couldn't will myself to fight. I smelled something. Frecklestar's scent. I followed it, and then I saw her there, in a clearing.
"Frecklestar!" I called out.
