Accepted Into My Dream Uni!

Woot! So yesterday I got an offer from my first preference university to do the exact course I've always dreamed of doing : Music Education.

I'm a percussionist and I've always loved teaching. I'm super excited to start studying in March. Are there any other Aussies out there who just had their main round offers?

Nice! I did the application response waiting game a few years ago but I can definitely still relate. You must feel so relieved. Enjoy the relaxing months to come and then work hard in your program 😃 Hope it turns out well!

Ugh, it was the worst. My interview went super super well and I thought I was a dead cert, but then my year 12 grades came out and they weren't that flash. Not terrible, just not quite what I was expecting. So yeah, it was really nerve wracking.
I'm actually working now (not paid, but still a lot of work 😋) so no relaxing for me, although I am planning a week off in mid Feb 😃

Good on ya!!! I was accepted into the university I wanted too! I didn't get into the course (but I'm going to try and transfer next year) but I got into the next best thing! I'm going to be studying biology in a beautiful university that my mum hates me for because for a while she is going to have to drive me XD

For what I wanted I needed a score of 80 but that was no where near what I got XD

Ooh yay! They always say hat it's easier to transfer once you're into the uni you want anyway. And bio sounds super fun!
Sorry, I couldn't remember which state you were in. In NSW we have ATARs and I'm lucky enough that to get into the Conservatorium your audition and interview is taken into account, so there's no ATAR cut off per say. I got 86, so like I said, not bad. It's just that I was doing subjects that I was super good at, so I thought I'd do really well. Anyway, doesn't matter now. The only point is to get into uni and I've done that so 😃
