cave click bug

hi, when i was stealing eggs today every time i clicked it actually used up two of my tries, and i had to look along the bottom to see what the other eggs that i didn't actually click on were.

It sounds to me like it may have lagged somehow and doubled your steal attempts, but I'm not sure.

it didn't seem to lag when i clicked it, the egg came up right away, but when i clicked the "leave egg" button then it had stolen two completely different eggs each time.

Edit:
it's still doing it when i use my additional attempts. it doesn't even take me to the steal egg page, just tells me i'm out of attempts. and over half the click exchange links i click tell me i have already clicked it.

Does anyone else in your house have an Egg Cave account?
That might have something to do with it.

@spiderling By any chance do you have a different mouse you could use? Its possible that your mouse could be dying and could actually be double clicking when you click.

it's a new, graphic design mouse, but i have also tried it just using the touch pad, as well as on a different computer thinking the same thing. but shouldn't it still be asking me if i want to keep or leave the egg even if i was double clicking?

Edit: the XC doesn't seem to be doing it today, only the cave and asteroid
