Watch/Save Auctions

I was just on the creatures auctions and I thought this would be useful for people who use that feature, and I haven't seen it be suggested before. Sorry if it has.

I think that being able to watch an auction would makes auctions easier to track. The only time we get notifications about an auction at the moment is when we bid, and then someone bigs higher than us.

I was thinking that we could click to watch an auction without bidding, this would be useful for people who are interested in the auction lot but don't have the EC yet/don't want it automatically taken right there and then in case they find something else. I personally don't like how after we have bidded we only are notified once after.

Beofre this gets confusing: what I'm saying is, it would be cool if we could watch an auction to get all updates without bidding/get all the updates from our bid until the end (with an option to turn off notifications from the auction, of course).

@funyarinpa I totally agree with you. I was thinkig abut a similar solution myself. It would be a great help. I hope this gets implemented. 😃

It would be another way for me to stalk (ahem) watch the auctions and great if you aren't on at the time the auction finishes!

Oh but imagine all of the bids within the remaining minutes! It would spam your notification bar!

@mastergemma Yeah, I guess it would be annoying at the end of an auction, especially if you have a chain of them being stalk- erm, watched. But I guess at the end of the auction (Final 10-15 minutes?) you would be online and watching to place your final bid, so I guess you could turn the notification option off for the fina few minutes?

It's really the only way around it-unless anyone has another way to be alerted about new bids? Like, if they were less frequent than every time a new bid is added? (A reminder about the auction every time you log in + a reminder about 15-20 minutes before the auction ends?)

@funyarinpa - I've thought about the same thing AND have been super annoyed with not having much EC. and then bidding and wanting to get something else but not having the EC for it and then i lose the auction i bid on and i didn't have the EC in time for the one i wanted. ☹️

I hope they make this! 😊
