@audrei9 IKR I JUST LOGGED ON, WENT TO THE CAVE, FOUND A PRATH AND BAM! "Wuuuuut, it said that it was a Prath, but now it's a Shrew?!" That does happen sometimes, but then I tried again; got a Manticore (or so I thought), and then it turned into... a Pthali! NUUUUUUU >m<
But... HAPPY APRIL FOOLS EVERYBODY!

staying away from the cave today!!!!!!!! Its' not funny by any means especially when you are trying to get an egg.

It kind of makes it hard to grab the new cave monthlies, or any cave creature you actually wanted, and I admit that I'm actually really sad they aren't re-releasing them. Guess it's not a bug, though.

Best april fools prank would be to change the creatures back into what they were in the cave tomorrow, that would be an awesome reward for people who (unlike me) are good sports and actually kept the creatures 😊

That would be awesome, but I really doubt they'd do that.

I think the only thing that really got me for this was the resulting flood of the Adoption Center. I don't like seeing eggs/creatures die. ^.^;

@audrei9 I don't believe this belongs in the "Problems & Bugs" forum, but I'm kind of glad to see I wasn't the only one who fell for it. I saw the post and went to the cave, expecting there not to be a big chance of someone actually getting a 're-release' and was quite happy when I got a Maskey on my first try. Then, it turned into a Magmish and I realized it was a trick.

@dionaea That WOULD be awesome. Although I actually want the commons I adopted from the adoption center, it would be cool to see them turn back into whatever they were before and have my Magmish turn back into a Maskey. Too bad it probably won't happen. ☹️

I'm so old in this game I just assumed it was fake the moment I saw it. The uproar a re-release of old cave critters would cause among older members with large collections for trading (me included) would be too much for the Egg Cave team to handle, I think. I certainly hope it'll stay that way. xD

me too. I don't know if this is true with other players, but if you leave the egg alone it would turn back to normal. I just tried it out on a kampos egg and it turned into a frice.

@audrei9 Yeah, I saw that, but I "got" a Vulpselle, then left it, and it was still a Vulpselle! But when I went to adopt it it changed back again ☹️
