XD{Fawnnight}Fawnnight padded after Feathertail, glancing down at his prey."Great catch" she purred she trotted towards a nearby bush, returning with two plump chinchillas in between her jaws. Feathertail's eyes grew wide, but he seemed amused.*We need all the fresh-kill we could get. When leaf-bare comes, digging into burrows of hibernating prey won't be an option.* Fawnnight crouched down into a hunter's crouch, opening her jaws to scent the air. She scented the presence of other cats and realised they were not alone. Twoleg camp cats started appearing from the distance, running in their direction. One, a helpless white kitten with tiny blue eyes, stumbled on a rock and landed on Fawnnight's paws. Though, the kit was a kittypet, it is against the warrior code to kill it, so she leaned down and assisted the kit to stand on his paws. "What happened to you?" She asked the young kit. The kit shook his head."They're coming..." He squeaked in alarm, racing after the other Twoleg camp cats. *What could possibly lead to these cats retreating from their homes when twolegs are not around?*{Echopaw}"I needed my paw to get checked out, but it seems you'll be doing it for me." She smiled as she showed Mistystream her paw. {Wolfstripe}Wolfstripe rose up to Dawnpaw's warning and started arranging warriors. "Wolves are strong. The whole pack will usually attack only one target in particular. Malshade, Eagleshade, Silentfall and Stormpaw will help Bearshade up the front rear. Me, Duskshadow, Viperfang, Moonpaw and Dawnpaw will take the back, where it is easier to strike." Wolfstripe was glad that only Feathertail and Fawnnight went to a hunting patrol and the rest of his patrol was still in camp. The warriors and apprentices took their places and went separate ways to track down the wolves, Malshade leading one patrol down on the pathway towards the Snowcliff and Wolfstripe leading the other up the slope towards the top.

I asked Echopaw.{Feathertail}I stared as the kittypet ran. "Maybe twolegs are coming..." I said. "Or maybe a wolf or something...." I added. I then ran off to hunt. I returned with a vole, a furry mouse, and a rat. Great hunt.{Dawnpaw}I walked to Wolfstripe. "Is Bearshade going to be okay?" I asked. If he was killed by the wolves, I wondered what mentor I'm going to have next. But I put that out of my mind, since Bearshade was a nice mentor, and I didn't want to lose him.

I understand if you're trying to get a patrol or something done, but it's rude when you don't even give me a chance to respond.}Tallcavern entered the camp, in the time between the ruckus of the patrol, heading the opposite direction as them. She had been unsuccessful in her searching for herbs, and headed first to Graystar's den to check up on the elderly leader.Viperfang followed out of the camp, taking up a spot in the line of defense, grudgingly. /We won't save anyone with this pointless manuever.\ She thought, her spot was on the edge of the path. Peering curiously over the edge, the she-cat spotted a path-maybe two fox-lengths wide, enough to support her at least.Feinting a stumble, she slipped over the edge, landing lightly onto the path below her.

I'll try.{Feathertail}I looked down at the prey we caught. It looked enough for a catch, but I thought of the elders, queens, and kits. I need more prey before the animals hide in their burrows. So I looked up at Fawnnight, the older warrior. "Is this enough prey?" I asked.

I apologise for that, I'll try and not control your characters next time. @tsuki-hikari @maiden @loveicepop {Fawnnight} "It should be fine, Feathertail. The other patrol is hunting from..." Fawnnight trailed off as she spotted a pack of wolves tackling in the distance. As she looked further, she noticed a familiar brown-coloured fur stand out from the attack of vicious grey beasts. Bearshade was fighting wolves. She could do nothing but stand there, though she wanted to help the young warrior. Her body refused to move, but her paws tingled with anticipation to help her clanmate. Moments later, she could see Stormpaw arriving next to Bearshade.*Why only an apprentice? Shouldn't they send warriors?* She thought. Right at that moment, Wolfstripe's patrol arrived behind the wolves, attacking the wolves from behind. The alpha wolf was still tackling Bearshade, using it's teeth to tear off bits of brown fur of Bearshade, but Bearshade had claws, which he swiped at the wolf bravely."We must help them." She meowed, Racing down the hill. {Echopaw}"Thank you, Mistystream." Echopaw thanked the medicine cat as she flexed her paw. "It feels much better now." Echopaw looked out the den to find only a few warriors scattered throughout camp.*Where did everybody go?* she meowed to herself. She could not see a single apprentice. "Where are all the warriors and apprentices? Are they all on patrol?" She asked Mistystream.

The others must be helping them."{Feathertail}I ran after Fawnnight, quickly burrowing my prey and charged to the nearest wolf. I gave it quick kicks, bites, and a scratch on the belly, and a few more bites till it was wounded and wouldn't fight no more.{Dawnpaw}I waited for Wolfstripe's answer....

@loveicepop @cougar @tsuki-hikari Viperfang bit back a growl as the rest of the Clan just attacked. /Do they not know that wolves are monsters? Where have they gotten their information on wolves? Only attack one target at a time, nonsense.\ She thought as she slid up onto an outcropping of rocks by the pack.She found a boulder, and positioned it properly."Move!" She called out, heaving her entire weight onto the boulder, trying to get it to budge.

@cougar @loveicepop @featherstar_stormclan @maiden Duskshadow ran at the closest wolf to her, which happened to be a silver wolf with amber eyes that were common among their species. The wolf spotted her heading toward him and tried to lunge at her with his powerful jaws. She managed to dodge the attack, the wolf's teeth snapping together a whisker-length from her throat. Quickly regaining her balance, she feinted to the left before jumping to the right of him. The wolf, taking the bait, turned and gained a slightly confused expression upon realizing she wasn't there until sharp claws pierced his snow thick fur. Duskshadow jumped on the back of the wolf sinking her claws into his fur before biting his ear. The wolf howled in pain, shaking Duskshadow from his back. The white she-cat hit the rocks near her, wincing and gaining a few scrapes in the process. While trying to regain her balance she heard Viperfang yelling at them to move. Looking up, Duskshadow saw her trying to move a large boulder, glancing toward where the silver wolf had been she realized he left to go fight another opponent. Looking back toward Viperfang she believed that she understood her plan and went to help her clanmate.

He assured the apprentice as he batted a wolf in front of him with his paw. {Fawnnight}Fawnnight pounced onto a wolf as it came running her way. She slashed it's eyes with her claws, then bit into it's neck. As she beat the wolf to the ground, she joined the rest of the clan."This is pointless, Wolfstripe. We can't defeat these wolves alone." Fawnnight growled at the clan deputy, unsheathing her claws. Wolfstripe turned to her fiercely."Our clan will never be beaten! We are strong, and nothing will get in our way." *What is happening to our clan? We're turning into those twoleg camp cats!* She thought furiously as she once again slashed a wolf on the muzzle. While she continued fighting, she heard Viperfang's call. Moving out of the way, she clambered out of the sea of grey fur. {Echopaw}"It's too bad I missed it... I've never seen a wolf before. What do they look like?" She asked Mistystream.

@cougar @tsuki-hikari @loveicepop Once her Clanmates were clear, or as clear as Viperfang could tell, Viperfang was able to knock the boulder loose. It tumbled down straight into the pack of wolves, crushing a large number of them, a few others had leapt out of the way though.

@Cougar @featherstar_stormclan @maiden @loveicepopDuskshadow watched as Viperfang knocked the boulder loose from the top of a small stone outcropping that were a little off to the side. After the boulder had passed she jumped from her stone seat and landed on the ground before her, wincing a little as the impact jarred her already aching wounds.

Wolfstripe announced, yowling in triumph. "The battle is over." Fawnnight sighed to herself, glad that there were no more wolves. Wolfstripe raised his head and gestured the patrol to walk back to camp. As they came back to camp, Fawnnight caught up to Moonpaw."You fought well today." She told her apprentice, rasping her tongue over Moonpaw's ear. "Thank you, Fawnnight." Moonpaw purred in pride. "I think it is about time you become a warrior." {Echopaw}After Echopaw visited the medicine cat den, she decided to wander off on her own, bounding down the mountain and onto the cliff not far from the camp above. She padded towards the river that ran down the mountain and lapped the water with her tongue, stunned by the temperature of the liquid. *Leaf-bare is here* she told herself, swiping her tongue over her lips. As she withdrew, another cat caught her eye.

She prepared herbs for cuts, bruises and other scars and stuff, in case anyone was injured. "It's going to be a little crowed in the medicine den." She thought.{Dawnpaw}I looked at Fawnnight like she said the scariest thing in the world. "Moonpaw's becoming a warrior? Please. I want to be one too!" I whined at Bearshade and Fawnnight.{Feathertail}I can't believe it. We scared all the wolves.

@loveicepop @cougar @featherstar_stormclan Duskshadow walked forward with a slight limp as she observed the injuries the clan had suffered in the attack. She stopped by the apprentices and their mentors who seemed to be having a conversation about becoming warriors before moving on. Duskshadow sighed in relief that from what she had seen, the clan had done fairly well during the fight and sustained a minimal amount of injuries.

@featherstar_stormclan @tsuki-hikari @loveicepop{Bearshade}Bearshade looked proudly down at his apprentice. "Soon, Dawnpaw, I promise. You would make a great warrior." He commented, flicking his tail over Dawnpaw's ears. {Stormpaw} Stormpaw padded silently back to camp with the rest of the cats, falling behind the rest of the clan as he went into deep thought. *I wish my mentor was here... Oh Blackeye, where are you?* He thought to himself, keeping his head low. Blackeye was Stormpaw's mentor. Before Wolfstripe became deputy, twolegs started building dens made out of thick green pelts on the base of the mountain, leaving the SnowClan cats to move their territory uphill. Blackeye, determined to SnowClan's territory back, went on a journey to the legendary Mooncliff to seek guidance from StarClan and sadly, never returned. No cat knew if he was dead or alive, but Stormpaw believed that he would return one day.

@cougar @tsuki-hikari @loveicepop Viperfang hung towards the back of the returning patrol, limping heavily. She even strayed behind the lingering Stormpaw, trying to keep weight off her left foreleg entirely./It may have helped, but pushing that boulder was probably not the brightest idea you could have had.\ She scolded herself as she trekked up the slope.Tallcavern returned to the medicine den, after checking up on Graystar, the elder was deeply asleep, and she grabbed herbs before heading out of the camp to meet the patrol before their injuries worsened on the hike upwards.

@featherstar_stormclan @tsuki-hikari @loveicepop{Fawnnight}As the patrol got back to camp, Fawnnight looked back down at her apprentice. "I'll tell Graystar about your progress. And Stormpaw's too." She purred.With that, she padded towards the leader's den, her tail held up high. "Graystar?" She called from the entrance of the den. {Echopaw}As she lifted her head from the water, a kittypetmet her eye. She jolted up and sprang onto the kittypet, landing on top of it."Who are you? What are you doing on SnowClan territory?" She spat, baring her teeth. The cat flinched, then trembled a little."I... I'm sorry. I didn't realise.. I should go." She muttered. Her collar shone into Echopaw's eye, catching her attention. Echopaw looked at twoleg collar around her neck and the shiny pendant that was attached to it. *This definitely isn't a twoleg camp cat.* She told herself, her claws digging into the soil. "What are your intentions?" She questioned the she-cat. "Nothing... I was just looking for water..." The she-cat rose to her paws and fled into the trees before Echopaw could say anything.

@cougar @loveicepop @tsuki-hikari Graystar woke up, slightly groggy and called for Fawnnight to enter. His vision was blurry, and his breathing was slightly raspy as he smiled at the she-cat. "What is it?" the old tabby said, is voice slightly cracking as he spoke.Viperfang snarled in frustration as she had to give up on climbing the slope. She found a small alcove in the rock face and slid inside, tufts of fur littering the walls. An old and very stale scent of fox floated around, and the paw marks outside the den weren't visible, nor was any fresh fur around. It must have left.Her shoulder burned with pain, and it was clear that Tallcavern and Mistystream weren't going to find her before night fell, especially with her limp, so Viperfang decided to wait it out until the pain died down.

She ripped out a spider web, and began taking out the little spider that was on it. Then she caught a scent...No, It was just a patrol, Viperfang and Stormpaw...She thought... Then she walked up the start of the mountain, and found some more herbs.

@featherstar_stormclan @cougar @loveicepop Duskshadow padded into the camp with the patrol keeping as much weight off her scraped shoulder as she could. Sitting down she began to clean her wounds, clearing out the gravel and dirt that could cause infection.

As she looked around the den, she spotted Graystar and padded up to him, her whiskers twitching. "I'd like to inform you that Moonpaw and Stormpaw's training are going well. They have trained hard and have learnt the ways of the clan. I think they're ready to become warriors." {Bearshade}Bearshade looked down at his apprentice, smiling."You'll find out your warrior name soon, Dawnpaw." {Echopaw}Echopaw padded back to camp, though her foot ached from the cold. As she leaped over the fallen tree and down the slope, she caught a glimpse of Mistystream's grey tail and decided to follow her, sending puffs of snow under her feet. "Mistystream! Wait for me!" She called to the medicine cat.

She meowed as she padded out the den. Moonpaw waited patiently outside, remaining where she was. She caught sight of Fawnnight and twitched her ears."How was it?" She asked excitedly. Fawnnight shook her head."Maybe this is not the right time. Graystar is right though. I'm still concerned about Stormpaw's training. He hasn't got a proper mentor in moons..." She answered. {Echopaw}"I was taking a drink by the lake." Echopaw explained to Mistystream, straightening her whiskers."I saw a kittypet in our territory, but it didn't look like a twoleg camp cat. Do you think she's a threat to our clan?" {Stormpaw} Stormpaw padded back into camp, his paws sore from climbing up the rough slopes. He gave it a thorough lick, then padded towards Tallcavern.

Maybe Fawnnight knows some kits ready to become apprentices, I'm just so excited...* He thought as he walked toward Fawnnight.
